by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes one more great week in the world of video games for us all to enjoy and there was surprisingly a lot more than expected being after the big E3 weeks. We do all need to start prepping for the SDCC week so it makes more sense that we would start to see more for the Doctor Who VR game and Man Of Medan. Both titles that should be on a bit of a display out there among many other video games that should be on display. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Deliver Us The Moon Console gamers will soon be able to experience Deliver Us The Moon this year and PC gamers will get to experience how Deliver Us The Moon ends too For all of those console gamers out there who may have felt like they missed out on Deliver Us The Moon, it is time to ditch those feelings as the game is officially heading to the PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2019. To that extent, if you are one of those PC gamers out there wondering when KeokeN Interactive was going to hook you up with the ending you have been waiting for to the story, you will be getting that at the same time. All of which is thanks to a new partnership between them and Wired Productions to bring Deliver Us The Moon to as many gamers out there as possible. Read More...

Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time Is Coming To SDCC To Show Us What Has Been Made
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Doctor Who New videos for Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time are out there to show off how the game is made and how Doctor Who can get to experience it at SDCC Not too long ago we were all made aware that Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time was going to be a thing and bring the franchise to the VR setting. It looked rather cool and I know I was hoping to be able to see and/or play what Maze Theory had put together at E3 this year. Sadly, that did not pan out and I was left wondering just what would be going on with this title. It launches this September on the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Vive Cosmos so it would make sense to have some of us fans give it a go beforehand. Read More...

Meet And Learn More About Conrad In Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new interview for Man Of Medan shows off the character that Shawn Ashmore is playing in Man Of Medan and a bit on what to expect Time for some 'shocking' news for Man Of Medan, as it looks like we are getting some other celebrity chops added into the mix here with Shawn Ashmore and his character Conrad. Not the biggest of shocks here as Supermassive Games has done things like this in the past with their other titles. They are going for some realism in their games so why not bring over an actor that can add their likeness to Man Of Medan as well as their voice. Read More...

The Surge 2 Cuts Us All Deep With Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge Gameplay for The Surge 2 is out here now with some developer commentary to explain what has changed for The Surge 2 since we last played We finally have some gameplay for The Surge 2 to take in and see more than the cinematic changes that have been placed into the game from Deck 13. I know all I have seen in the past for the game has been some fancy pre-rendered trailers but now we see all of the limb-slicing and robot dodging action that we should have expected for this franchise. That and how some of the new online features will work in The Surge 2. Something I am sure will cause some issues in the game, but it is what it is. Read More...

Take A Shot At The Big Apple In Hitman 2 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The first expansion for Hitman 2 is here as Hitman 2 takes us to the bank in the middle of New York right now If you have been hoping for more to do in Hitman 2 besides the community updates, then get ready to download your first big expansion for the game. It is currently available to download on your PS4, Xbox One, and PC as IO Interactive has added in a whole new location to kill targets in. In the middle of New York and inside of a Bank. Not the craziest sounding thing for Hitman 2, but that truly comes down to how we are going to go running around this secured location. Read More...

Also, a new way to go about giving us all an investigation game that we may or may not have seen in the industry. We had a chance to dive into all of the horrors and Deep Ones out there in The Sinking City and now are here to give you the rundown. Read More...

Silver Chains Shows Us That Madness Is Out To Get Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Silver Chains A new trailer for Silver Chains is here with a bit more gameplay and all of the weirdness Silver Chains looks to hold within It is time to start preparing your minds for Silver Chains as August 6th is quickly approaching and we have our own sanity to keep in mind. That is, at least, the threat we all have to worry about from Cracked Heads Games in terms of their new title they are bringing to us. It has looked a bit dark in the past video we have seen for Silver Chains and it continues again today. Even if it is a bit scarce on the actual gameplay and what we will do more than walk around some scary locations. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/17/19 — 6/21/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week felt like such a catchup week for all things video games but I totally blame E3 for all of that. There was so much going on out there and it was rough making sure we were able to cover as much of it as we can. Especially with all of the big titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII Remake having a huge showing this year. It was also great getting to talk about video games like Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood and the upcoming Blair Witch title that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Phantom: Covert Ops
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Phantom While at E3, I was able to see Phantom: Covert Ops in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Phantom: Covert Ops. This year it felt like there was a lack of VR out at E3, but that does not mean it was not there and it did allow for titles like Phantom: Covert Ops to shine out a bit more than normal. Something that many could easily have looked over on the floor if there were loads of other titles out there. Thankfully, I had a chance to sneak down to nDreams to see just what they had for us this year and it was a nice little stealth VR title where we stay seated in a kayak the whole time. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf While at E3, I was able to see Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. It definitely looks like the World Of Darkness is having a great time with video games as of late as we have had so many shown off and updated on and also why I am here for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. This would be another of the IPs out there in the works, but one that we have known Cyanide Studio has been working on for a while now. So long that it has moved over to a different publisher, Bigben Interactive, but now is back with something more than basic concepts to show off. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Final Fantasy VII Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy While at E3, I was able to see Final Fantasy VII Remake in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Final Fantasy VII Remake. One of the bigger bits of news out of E3 this year had to come from Final Fantasy VII Remake as we had a release date and a few of the characters shown to us all during Square Enix's big media showcase. We know we can see the game hit the PS4 on March 3rd of next year and also had a chance to see Tifa and Aerith in action. Not to mention the fact that we had a nice chance to see the new battle system they are using for this outing of Final Fantasy VII in a better motion. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Evil Genius 2: World Domination
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Evil Genius While at E3, I was able to see Evil Genius 2: World Domination in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Evil Genius 2: World Domination. The want and need to make our own evil bases to take over the world is coming back with the announcement of Evil Genius 2: World Domination out of E3. Some gamers out there may still be playing around with the older title in this series, but now we all get to look forward to Rebellion bringing us all-new gameplay and experiences here. All of this you hopefully know before clicking in here Evil Genius 2 was a highlight of the PC Gaming showcase that took place. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Maneater
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Maneater While at E3, I was able to see Maneater in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Maneater. A title that made a huge splash, pun intended, back at E3 2018 had to be Maneater. That would be the ShaRkPG title that we were introduced to from Blindside Interactive and Tripwire Interactive during the main PC Gaming show at the start of the event. Originally, it looked to be like a joke title that was going to build into something different to me, but here we are back again and we can see that it has become much more. Well, at least some of us who were lucky enough to see solid gameplay for Maneater during this year's E3 and not just the fun little trailer we were all given when it was highlighted again. This Week In Video Games 6/8/19 — 6/14/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of June 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was sure one crazy whirlwind of a week in the world of video games. Then again, that is usually how it goes with E3 and the other big events like it. We were lucky to be on the floor for it all and had a chance to check out so many titles like Marvel’s Avengers and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Those being the ones we had a chance to get to during the event, but there was also more for other video games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Bloodlines 2 for us all to get to. All of which will be coming as soon as we take a bit of a break to relax and recoup from it all. Read More...
