Star Trek The Star Trek universe is getting a little dark, with the announcement of the horror title Star Trek: Shadow Frontier It is time to mark down a title I never thought we would see in the IP, but here we go with Star Trek: Shadow Frontier. Not that I thought this was based on anything before now, but more that we are getting a true horror title in the universe and from Bloober Team, along with Paramount Games. An IP that's always been known to stay closer to the positive and happier side of exploration is now heading into something that seems truly dark out there. SAW A new title in the SAW IP is on the way to us, with the announcement of SAW: Genesis taking us into The Great War Even though the film side of things seems to be in a weird limbo, the video game side of things got a little bit of a surprise with SAW: Genesis getting announced. A new and interesting entry into the IP with Anshar Studios and Bloober Team coming together to bring it all to the PC. Not the exact set of teams I was expecting, yet still the teams that I have a feeling have a good chance of doing it correctly. ILL A new bit of the story for ILL is on display, and we can get a little more to understand why we are walking in ILL We have had some fun thinking about ILL after it was first revealed to us all, but now we have something a little more specific to take in for the game to get us ready for the 2027 release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Aliens Head back into the Aliens universe with the announcement that we are getting Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 this Summer The Xenomorphs will just not stay down, as we now have the announcement that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is on the way to us all. The 4-player co-op title is coming back from Cold Iron Studios, along with Daybreak Games, to give us all more to shoot at and survive. Cronos A new gameplay mode for Cronos: The New Dawn is on the way to make sure we can all experience the story of Cronos I do not know why, but it feels as if Cronos: The New Dawn launched on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC so very long ago. I guess, a matter of months could feel like a long time for anyone out there, but it dropped and Bloober Team added another great success to their list. Sure, some had some complaints about the game, but for the most part, Cronos: The New Dawn was loved. Layers Of Fear The final version of Layers Of Fear is out there on the Switch for many more gamers to see the horrors of Layers Of Fear The holiday season can officially start now, as Layers Of Fear: Final Masterpiece Edition has landed on the Switch 2. A solid little collection of all of the titles and DLC that Bloober Team has out there for the IP, and a solid way to escape the horrors of the season with the horrors of the video game world. Almost as if the award show was even afraid to touch the topic of the game. Yet Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games carry it all onward to make sure we know what is going on.
