Borderlands Take the Borderlands fun on the go, with the recently announced Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 that will be launching I had a feeling it was only a matter of time before we heard it was happening, but here we are with Borderlands 4 getting the full Switch 2 announcement for release. Not overly surprising with Gearbox wanting to make sure all of the fans that truly want the game have the option to throw all of their money at the studio. Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat Trilogy will now be part of the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection after a solid EVO 2025 announcement The kombat legacy kontinues out there with another package for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection getting announced and placed right into the roster of games this bundle will all have. Announced during EVO 2025, Digital Eclipse let it loose that a long-time fan favorite trilogy will be in the mix of this big bundle when it hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC out there. Toxic Crusaders The release date for Toxic Crusaders is finally set, and we can be joining the Toxic Crusaders in the fight before the holiday season So much has been going on in the whirl of SDCC, and it looks like we almost missed the announcement of when we would be able to experience what Toxic Crusaders has in store for us. Sonic Sonic fans are going to have one more bit of fun at SDCC this year, with a Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds karting experience going down It is starting to feel like SDCC 2025 is going to be the year of car experiences, with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds now showing up for an off-site event during the convention. Tony Hawk Officer Dick is coming back to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and he is bringing a friend for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 It looks like more fun is on the way for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 with Officer Rick taking up a board and shredding with the greats out there. A character that would have been odd to not see Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision not bring in, as he has been a staple in so many of the titles over the years. All the way back to the origins of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater when it first last, if my memory serves. The only difference is that this one has a new and maybe better design for the character. A remaster and enhancement from the classic title that Square Enix dropped out there back in 1997, and many tactical RPG gamers have been waiting for it to come back. 007 The tease of Project 007 is finally revealed as we have the full announcement and look at 007 First Light now It has only taken five years, but here we are with the official announcement for 007 First Light. It is hard to think that it has been in the shadows for that long over at IO Interactive, but here we are fresh out of the State Of Play with the announcement. Sadly, the announcement does tell us that we are going to have to wait until 2026 to actually get to experience the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Hogwarts Legacy A new release for Hogwarts Legacy is on the way for the Switch 2 and it looks like this might be the way to play Hogwarts Legacy on the go It is coming as no surprise with the success of Hogwarts Legacy from before, that we are going to be seeing a version of the game landing on the Nintendo Switch 2. As long as we can actually get those systems in our hands out there. SPINE New gameplay for SPINE is here to announce SPINE is coming to the Switch 2 as well as a new mode we will be able to play the game in The Gun Fu is going to be landing on yet another platform out there when SPINE hits, as it is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. At least that is the plan for when Nekki is able to get the full game released out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as well. Just another option for gamers to aim for and maybe have when or if they are actually able to get that console. That is a different topic, though, and we will dig further into SPINE here. Mario Kart Drive on into the latest for Mario Kart World as we see how this Mario Kart title will offer up so much more for the IP than before Even though many of us are still trying to figure out how to get a Nintendo Switch 2 before the June 5th launch, we still have some great looks at the upcoming Mario Kart World that will be launching alongside the console when it does come. As the title indicates, it is the next and latest version of the racing IP that we are going to have. Tony Hawk There is more of the Tony Hawk fun coming out there with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 heading to the Switch 2 as well It should come as no surprise that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. This most likely would have been part of the original announcement for the game if Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision did not have to wait for the new console to get its official showcase, but that is a whole different can of worms. We now know that it is officially coming and not going to be part of some backwards play for those who are picking it up on the original Switch. Even if that might be the best option this coming July 11th with how the new console is being handled in the States currently and if you will even be able to have it before this new Tony Hawk remake title drops out there.
