Head A Little Behind The Scenes After Gamescom For Directive 8020
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 5th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 Take a walk around the setting of Directive 8020 as it was all shown off during Gamescom, and see why we need to wait longer for Directive 8020 Even though Gamescom has come and gone for this year, we are still getting some new looks at things that went down during the event. Specifically, some look at things that we would only have had a chance to experience if we were on-site, with the latest for Directive 8020. We do need something to help take away the sting that Supermassive Games had to push the release out to 2026. Not only that, but also a solid look at some of the other bits that were behind the scenes for Directive 8020, and what they tried to dazzle the crowds with out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Cronos The launch of Cronos: The New Dawn on the Switch 2 is also here, and we have a fun look at how Cronos looks on the platform This is the week that all of the digital releases for Cronos: The New Dawn have landed, and that includes the Switch 2 in the mix of the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The platform I know I have been curious about to see if it is going to hold up to all of the other main platforms, given the level of detail Bloober Team has put into the game. I am sure that has been the case with many other gamers out there looking to add this one to the collection of games on the go. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 4th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
007 First Light New gameplay for 007 First Light is out there, along with a release date for when we can play 007 First Light in 2026 I was not certain we were going to get as much for 007 First Light as we have here before 2026 came about, but do we ever have a whole lot to take in for the game now. During the most recent PlayStation State Of Play, IO Interactive dropped all manner of details for the game. We have a lot of gameplay to take in for it, word that the pitch was pretty much Hitman but as James Bond, as well as a release date for the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Tactics Take in the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles to get yourself ready for Final Fantasy Tactics to launch It is always a weird thing for me to think about that there is a good portion of the gaming community that has yet to experience Final Fantasy Tactics. Granted, this is a title that Square Enix placed out there for us all so many years ago, and it was more of a cult classic title than anything widespread out there. With September 30th on the way to us all, more will get to experience it all with Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC again. by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Devil Console gamers will get to face off with the Devil in the new version of The Devil Is In The Details, coming out very soon The Devil Is In The Details is on its way out there for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S games now, with some of the news we have flowing here. This is the title that HideWorks put out there on the PC not too long ago, where we would have to do some of the bidding of the one from below so we could make our way out of Limbo or Purgatory. All in the vein of an observation-first horror title, where we will have to watch for things changing in the world, while also surviving the horrible beings trying to keep us from doing our task. A fun little take on a normal kind of horror title as of late. Read More...

Star Trek Star Trek fans will have a new title flying their way, with the announcement for Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown We are all going to have a chance to head off into the final frontier with the announcement of Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown. A new title that gameXcite and Daedalic Entertainment announced out at Gamescom this year, and one that will give players on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC a bit more of a taste of what the universe has to offer up. At least in terms of the Star Trek universe, as that is a bit different than the one we currently are surviving out here. That will be part of the game, as we will be taking control of a Voyager-class ship and heading into the great unknown, while also managing so much more than we could imagine, and dabbling in some of the extra "What If" kind of things that could be possible in all of the universes out there.
