by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The Gold and War Chest aspect of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be going away and you now have a limited time to use them all in Shadow Of War If you were really into spending real-world money to boost things in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you may need to get on that bandwagon a little more as it will be going away. Well, at least the Gold and War Chest aspect of the game is going away as Monolith Productions is pulling the plug on it and keeping the game flowing in all of the other ways. So if you like shelling out that money to get virtual things in Shadow Of War, get on that as it goes away On May 8th when the next big update for the game is coming. Read More...

Review — The Council: Mad Ones
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
The Council We sit down and review The Council: Mad Ones. This is the first episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Mad Ones A new type of episodic game is entering the arena with The Council as the first episode is now out there for those interested to enjoy. On the surface, it sounds like Big Bad Wolf is just trying to get in on the market, but there is more to this game than meets the eye initially. This is most likely why Focus Home Interactive took a chance and opted to give it a full run. Read More...

Deathgarden Is Bringing Us Another Dystopian Blood Sport Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Deathgarden We have another asymmetrical action title, Deathgarden, on its way as Deathgarden is given the full announcement and gameplay to be available at PAX East As if the world was not already grim enough, we have another sad look at the future with Deathgarden getting a full announcement and looking to bring more asymmetrical action to our PCs. That all sounded pretty grim there for the game, so let me be clear that I am talking about the new game Behaviour is working on that is placing us in the role of someone in a grim future. A grim future that we can experience from our seats and have a good time with. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII’s next batch of DLC is here to entice us more into the world this Call Of Duty has built us Last week we had our first taste of the next bit of DLC coming to Call Of Duty: WWII on April 10th. At least for those playing on the PS4 as they get it first. Just reminding you just in case you were expecting it on the Xbox One and PC on the same day. Nonetheless, we had our first taste of the three new maps, new War Mode mission, and the next chapter of Nazi Zombies that Sledgehammer Games has for us. Read More...

City Of Brass Now Has A Release Date To Swing Into
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
City Of Brass The release date for City Of Brass has now been set and we can see more of the fun City Of Brass will be bringing to us this May when it launches It has been a good grip of time since we last heard anything for City Of Brass. This could be partly because Uppercut Games was hard at work on it and did not have the time to divulge more of the game. It could also be partly due to the fact that City Of Brass has been in Early Access on Steam so PC players have had a chance to see how the game is coming along and thus talk about it in general. That would leave some of the PS4 and Xbox One gamers out in the dark though. Read More...

Explore Your Childhood Nightmares With The InnerFriend
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
InnerFriend A new psychological horror title, The InnerFriend, has been announced and it looks like The InnerFriend aims to have us relive our childhood nightmares Get ready to dig up some of those old fears from childhood as The InnerFriend has been announced and aims to do something close to just that. Okay, maybe not directly but Playmind is aiming to at least tackle something along these lines with their first real video game for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. More or less, The InnerFriend sounds to be more about the way we all coped with said fears and nightmares and how they are more similar than we all have thought before. Read More...

Jurassic World Evolution’s Gameplay Shows Off More Involvement In The Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Jurassic World New gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution is out there and it looks like there is a lot more to building our Jurassic World than many previously thought Last week we were hit with the release date for Jurassic World Evolution as well as all of the pre-order goodies that would go along with it. Nothing truly stood out for now to pre-order the game before June 12th so far unless you want to get a few of those extra dinosaurs that Frontier Developments has put together for the game. That is of course until we had a chance to see the latest gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution and now we have a bit more to go on and get excited about. Read More...

How Well Will Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Look On The Xbox One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade A new trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is here to show us all just how well Hellblade will look once it makes its way onto the Xbox One Earlier this week we had word that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was finally making the jump over to the Xbox One on April 11th. It had spent so much time as a PC and PS4 only title that Ninja Theory wanted to make sure all gamers out there could experience the story and game. Unless you are only on a Switch then you will need to hope that this Hellblade release garners even more attention and praise so it can be brought over there too. I am not sure how well that would work, but it is never outside of the realm of possibilities. Read More...

Take To The Shadows Again As The Aragami: Nightfall Expansion Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Aragami A new expansion for Aragami, an action stealth game from 2016, has been announced and we get to see more of the world’s story with Aragami: Nightfall If you think back to October of 2016, you may remember a fun new title named Aragami that came out that mixed together a few really great game mechanics and made for an overall fun game. Lince Works did not hide the fact that the game took elements from Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid, and Mark Of The Ninja to craft a game that blended all of those together in a fun way. It was not widely received, but it still brought some fun to the PS4 and PC. Read More...

Pathfinder: Kingmaker Unloads Its Features With A Bit More Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Pathfinder A new trailer for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is here and it goes over some of the gameplay features as well as the elements it will bring from the base Pathfinder: Kingmaker version Last year we had a chance to watch as the Pathfinder: Kingmaker Kickstarter campaign fired off and then was a huge success almost doubling what the team over at Owlcat Games was looking for to bring it into existence. Being a fan of the tabletop version of the game and the specific adventure path, I was amped to see that it was going to be a thing and in similar veins of Baldur’s Gate with all of the political intrigue I have grown to love. Now we have our first real taste of just how this version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker has progressed and all of the extra features we are going to be getting in the final game with more as time presses on. Jurassic World Evolution’s Release Date Is Set & We Can Get Even More Dinosaurs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Jurassic World The release date for Jurassic World Evolution has been set with its pre-orders so you can pick it all up just before the next Jurassic World film hits We now have an official release date for Jurassic World Evolution and to very little surprise it is in line with the release of the new film in the same franchise. To think that Frontier Developments would miss out on that synergy of sorts would have been a hard sell for many, myself included. Although it does now place it right back into the realm of Jurassic World Evolution being a film tie-in video game but it does hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC digitally about ten days before on June 12th so there is a bit of a gap. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of March 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Q.U.B.E. We sit down and review Q.U.B.E. 2. The puzzles and story continues as we try to make heads and tails of things. Here is our review of Q.U.B.E. 2 It is time to head back into the weirdness and puzzles with Q.U.B.E. 2. The sequel, obviously, to the last title that Toxic Games brought us that introduced us to some weird new puzzles to solve with the use of special cubes. Cubes that we bring to life with our special suit and granted through various other means. I know I particularly loved the first Q. Read More...

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden’s First Gameplay Is Here To Bring Us In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero The first gameplay demo for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is here and it gives us a lot more to go on for Mutant Year Zero than we could have hoped for Earlier in the month we saw Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden get all announced and everything but only had a cinematic trailer to go on to get a feel for what the game would truly be bringing. It looked amazing, but from the description that came with it, it did not feel like the same game that The Bearded Ladies were working on and aiming to give us. Not in a bad way, but the description was more tactical-adventure while the video looked more plain adventure in a weird setting. Read More...

See Dying Light: Bad Blood In Action For A Little Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of March 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Dying Light New gameplay for Dying Light: Bad Blood is here and it gives us a small taste of where this battle royale mode for Dying Light is currently at Not too long ago we heard about Dying Light: Bad Blood and what it was going to be bringing to the base game in terms of keeping up with all of those other titles out there. Not too surprising, it was the answer to the Battle Royale craze that is going on from Techland but also set in their zombie "shooter" that has had quite some staying power over the last few years. The core Dying Light hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC three years ago and players are still deeply involved in it. Read More...
