Welcome To Hitman 2’s Santa Fortuna & Get Read To Kill

Hitman

New gameplay for Hitman 2’s Colombia location is here and it shows off a bit more of the new mechanics coming to Hitman 2

We had the nice little teaser for Hitman 2’s Colombia location and the possibilities it could hold for our murder spree. Now we are back with another look at the location from IO Interactive on just what we can expect on the basic level of the area. Not too surprising, we will be down there taking out the heads of the Columbian drug cartels as they visit one of their manufacturing locations down in Santa Fortuna. That is the name of the actual location in Hitman 2 here and not just the generic country name we have had before. Now we just have to wait a bit longer for the rest and the game to drop on November 13th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

More or less we get to see the usual gameplay we know for the Hitman franchise. What is added on here is how we will be using more of the foliage and jungle to our advantage as we take down all of these drug pushers and makers in the world. Nothing truly specific here, but it looks like the usual "hide in plain sight" kind of things is going on while in specific plants here. Nothing we have not seen before, but it will be something we will need to master in Hitman 2 to make sure we are able to clear everything and make it look like an accident along the way. We cannot start a drug war for no reason at all after all. Unless that is one of the options so we can get each of the heads to do our work for us.

Hitman 2 — Colombia Gameplay

Santa Fortuna is the perfect location to showcase new features and abilities coming to Hitman 2, including the use of vegetation and foliage to stay out of sight or hide weapons and bodies. This new trailer displays the truly exotic, hyper-detailed setting that will be available for players to explore, with unexpected hazards and unique kill opportunities all around. Agent 47 must use creativity and intelligence to survey the entire village and avoid the Cartel’s iron-fisted rule to eliminate his targets.

How are you liking the look of this location in Hitman 2 here? Do you think there will be more to the hiding in the plants or will it be as it has been time and time again? Do you think that there will be the option to get the others to do the dirty work or would that be too much planning for the franchise? Let us have those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Hitman 2 as we get it, be sure to stick around here. You will not be let down by us, hopefully.
