by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus we wrap yet another week in video game news and updates. Nothing to insane outside of our first look at DOOM and a bit more proof that Fallout 4 is just around the corner. Just around the corner hopefully being E3 but this is the world of video games and we all know how that all works. It never works like we have planned or thought. If only we could all be Batman like is shown in the recent Arkham Knight videos and then we would all be able to know and see what is coming well in advance. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of May 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Arizona Sunshine has been announced and is looking to bring us all into our first major zombie survival experience utilizing VR technology It had to come sometime and just like the inevitable zombie apocalypse we all are hoping for Arizona Sunshine is doing just that only in a virtual way. More virtual than any of the other zombie outbreak titles in the past as Arizona Sunshine is utilizing SteamVR on the HTC Vive. Yes it is going to be a PC zombie game where you will have to survive being in the mix of things and not safely on your couch. Well at least not AS safely on your couch as Arizona Sunshine is still a video game and not a true zombie outbreak. Read More...

King's Quest Looks To Be A Hand Painted Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for King's Quest has been released showing off how the artists make King's Quest look the way it does We've already heard how King's Quest is going to sound and a bit of how it is going to look but do we really know? Do we really know all of the blood, sweat, tears, paint, and love that The Odd Gentlemen are putting into the game? Of course we can all assume at this point or King's Quest wouldn't have been allowed to be made but what tells us better is a nice, handy, behind-the-scenes video. Such a video that we have just a bit lower so we can see how King's Quest is being made to look like things are hand painted from the ground up. Read More...

The Executioner Is Here To Kill Your Demons In The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of May 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Executioner DLC for The Evil Within has been released and we are getting a first person mode All things must come to an end and in this case it is the expanding world of The Evil Within. At least as this part of the franchise goes. The last bit of DLC, The Executioner, is coming on May 26th from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and will let you play as none other than The Keeper. This would be the creature better known as Boxman by the internet and fans of The Evil Within. I guess that is one way to go out with a bang here but let's hope it is enough to drive the publishers to want The Evil Within 2 or some other spin off to make a true franchise. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Game Of Thrones fourth episode have surfaced thus hearkening a release date coming soon for the episodic fun It's been about two months now so it is high time we had an update for the next episode of Game Of Thrones from Telltale. Like it has almost been literally two months since The Sword In The Darkness released and the TV show is half done with the season by the time of this being written. The synergy just isn't melding if that is what HBO and Telltale were going for with the episodic adventure of Game Of Thrones here. Thankfully though we may not have to wait much longer for the next episode to hit as we have a whole bunch of new screenshots for the next episode of Game Of Thrones titled Sons Of Winter. Looks Like Some Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Footage Leaked
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Two very short clips of what is thought to be Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition have cropped up online and point to an Xbox One release for the titles The rumor of a Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition coming to the Xbox One anytime soon may have just received a huge update and confirmation. If things are to be believed it looks like a new bit of gameplay has found its way onto an Xbox video recording service that points to the remastered version of the franchise. Of course the original footage has been removed from the site but the internet is a wonderful thing and nothing stays hidden for long. That being said, we have that lost Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition footage just a bit lower down just for you. Read More...

Many Reasons Just To Listen To The King's Quest Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for King's Quest has been released showing off the voice cast that will help The Odd Gentlemen bring King's Quest to life With a great narrative franchise like King's Quest has had and what we expect in our games moving forward, The Odd Gentlemen have their work cut out for them. Especially give the franchise's past and what nostalgic gamers are going to want to see from the new iteration of the franchise. I don't envy the developer at all here as they have a huge light on them and fans of the franchise over the long run will be rough. Read More...

LEGO Dimensions Will Have Doctor Who & Portal Among The Worlds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A few instruction booklets have made it online to confirm a few other dimensions we will be going to in LEGO Dimensions in the near future Since LEGO Dimensions was announced early last April it has been a huge question as to all of the "dimensions" that could be included in the game. Ideally it would include ever property that LEGO has licensed over the years but we have had only a very truncated list thus far with TT Games and Warner Bros. promising many more on the way. Well it would seem a few of those LEGO Dimensions announcements may have made it online a bit earlier than they wanted as we know have seen Doctor Who and Portal 2 among the list of dimensions and toys we will get to play with when the game launches on September 29th.
