In The Void Of Adrift Only You Can Hear The Oxygen Leaving The Lungs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Adrift New gameplay for Adrift has made its way online and it shows off a bit of gameplay and what it feels like in Adrift to run out of oxygen I believe this is the first time we have brought the first-person, interactive fiction game of Adrift up on the site before but that doesn't mean it hasn't been on our radar since it was first announced by Three One Zero. For those who don't know what Adrift is, outside of the genre description before, it is a story game that has us in space experiencing what it may be like for those who want to be up there. It is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with VR support sometime next year thanks to 505 Games for publishing Adrift. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/12/15 — 10/16/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been one of "those" weeks in video games hasn't it? I personally blame it all on the releases of the current video games and the news of other major video games like Friday The 13th and Styx that keeps all of the other news as fluff and filler instead of anything solid. I mean we do have Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Halo 5, and Fallout 4 releasing as well but when we have other great titles out there already why waste the shelf space now for when we can wait until there is nothing else in the limelight? Ah video games… Speaking of all of those video games in the lime light right now, outside of the below list of video games in the news to read through we are still working on a few reviews for titles that have already released or will be releasing in the coming weeks. Friday The 13th: The Game Gets Announced As Summer Camp Gets The Machete
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Friday The 13th: The Game has been officially announced and is looking to bring all of the Friday The 13th fun into video games with a 1v7 multiplayer game You may or may not remember the news back in January of this year about there being a Friday The 13th game in the works. It got slyly announced a bit and also shared many of the same qualities for another titled called Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp. Both were an Evolve gameplay kind of set up as one person took on the role of the slasher, or Jason in the aspect of Friday The 13th, and the rest as the counselors. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/5/15 — 10/9/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 11:02 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another week in video games in the bag. Or case if you will. Things were all over the place this week and there were so many 'leaks' out there in the world of video games. I'm looking in the direction of Street Fighter V here and a bit at Star Wars Battlefront. Although the beta is out for the latter here so it's not really leaked any more. The first still very much so. Read More...

12 More Classic Songs Join The Guitar Hero Live Track List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Especially since these new Guitar Hero Live tracks have all been pulled from previous Guitar Hero titles that Activision still has the rights to. Read More...

Try And Survive Until Dawn With Only Your Ears
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Especially since it looks like Until Dawn will have some kind of clout during October with the PS4 game proper and a new little experience. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders 2 The debate on the HD remaster of Darksiders 2's release date has been settled as we now have a solid date for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and screenshots Looks like the early announcements for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition's release date have been quelled as it will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on October 27th. Like I said before it looks like Gunfire Games and Nordic Games wanted to get this amazing title back out in time for Halloween and the end of October. Hopefully the awesome PR for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition will start to crop up now that the date has been announced and Death rides again soon. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Knight To Be Sold Again On PC Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Arkham Knight A new update for Batman: Arkham Knight states that PC gamers may see Arkham Knight back for sale by the end of October with little other customer service involved Looks like Batman: Arkham Knight may finally be heading back to general sales for the PC version by the end of the month here. Warner Bros. has made the announcement over on the steam page for Batman: Arkham Knight as the claim that the patches they released to current owners have gone rather well and they think that it is time to allow everyone else, or those who had a first class trip through Steam's refund policy, be able to play Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC. Review — SOMA
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
SOMA We Sit Down And Review SOMA. Is It Worth Your Time? Is it the horror title that will bring the genre back to fun? Here's Our Review Of Soma As we move into the month of horror there has been one title I have been excited to dive into and it is SOMA. It looks like the best melding of Dead Space and BioShock by Frictional Games with a bit of higher thinking and philosophy mixed in. I won't delve into that too much as it is one of the pivotal aspects of SOMA and I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible but it did capture my eye. Now that September 22nd has come and past I have been able to play SOMA on the PS4 and it is time for my formal review of the game and if it will do what the videos and promos have claimed thus far.
