Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games So much news in the world of video games here and so much more to come. Review — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live We Sit Down And Review Guitar Hero Live. Things Have Been Changed Up Quite A Bit This Time Around To Make The Franchise Feel New; But Does It Pay Off? Here's Our Review Of Guitar Hero Live Looks like the rhythm game is trying to make a comeback and now we have the other main competitor in the way of Guitar Hero Live. This franchise is one of the ones that made the whole genre as popular as it has become over the years, even with its short hiatus, and FreeStyleGames is bringing it back to try and bring new life into the franchise. Not only is it a new game with, technically, new songs but Guitar Hero Live adds in a few new features and mechanics to said genre but do they help or hinder in the long run? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of November 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Paragon A new game titled Paragon has been announced for the PC and it looks like Paragon will be looking to launch sometime in 2016 As if Epic Games didn't have enough on their plate already it looks like we have another title coming from them in the way of Paragon. Yes; another new title and IP from them that is currently slated to hit the PC sometime in 2016. When that could be is completely up in the air but we do have a nice look at one of the characters or heroes that will be in Paragon. You can see this in-game footage video just a bit lower down the screen and get prepped for Paragon and all of the updates over the next few weeks. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Shows Off More Of The Killing Fields
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game has been let loose with the intent of showing off the environments of Friday The 13th's Camp Crystal Lake We are heading into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game getting its funding via the Kickstarter campaign it has. Just under $100K to go still and then Gun Media will be bringing us the basic version of Friday The 13th presumably without the bells and whistles in the stretch goals. All of this you should know and most likely expect to see Friday The 13th: The Game coming to a PS4, Xbox One, and PC near you sometime next year. Again I predict sometime around Halloween although May does have a Friday The 13th in the month and who could pass up that date to get the game out on? Read More...

Watch Out As The Gorgon Is Scuttling Into Evolve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Evolve Another new monster for Evolve has been shown off and now we have a spider-like creature to add to the roster for Evolve We've seen a few of the new hunters coming to Evolve with the Hunting Season 2 DLC sometime before the end of March of 2016. Now is the time to see one of the new monsters and it looks like Turtle Rock Studios is bringing the Gorgon out to play and stalk the wilderness. This isn't your traditional version of the Gorgon of mythology though and this one will be quite different in Evolve. In fact this isn't the snake-like turn you to stone monster but a spider-like creature? Read More...

Friday The 13th A few new screenshots for Friday The 13th: The Game have been released to help drive funding and get a proper Friday The 13th video game again There are eleven days and just over $100k to go to see if the Friday The 13th video game that was recently proposed will get its funding on Kickstarter. I know I am watching patiently just as Gun Media most certainly is. There has already been a whole lot of work on the game before it officially became a Friday The 13th video game so they do have a bit to show already. Read More...

New & Groovy Gameplay Footage For Ratchet & Clank Shown Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Some new gameplay footage for Ratchet & Clank has been released and it shows off some of the new and classic weapons of Ratchet & Clank First we have a new trailer for the Ratchet & Clank movie and now we have a bit more of the gameplay for the title that Insomniac Games is currently working on to go along with the film's release. Of course that doesn't mean that we should be looking forward to nothing but a film tie-in for Ratchet & Clank but some form of a decent game for the PS4. Of course you can be the judge of that yourself as it looks like we have some new gameplay footage for Ratchet & Clank in the form of what looks like basic B-roll most likely for Paris Games Week. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Technomancer A new gameplay trailer for The Technomancer has been released and it gives quite a bit more detail on the mechanics used in The Technomancer's combat and skills Until now we've had very small and basic looks at The Technomancer and the gameplay it will house. It looks like it is shaping up to be an interesting action RPG for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but we really need more substance to make a solid decision on how Spiders is bringing the game to light. Screenshots and basic descriptions are nice but we need more. Thankfully it looks like Focus Home Interactive felt the same way and not we have a nice new trailer for The Technomancer to get us all hyped for its release in "early 2016. Read More...

Darksiders 2 The release trailer for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition has been released and now we can see all those upgraded Darksiders 2 visuals in action Next week is the big week as the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is going to be released and I couldn't be more excited for this.
