by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's first episode has been released to help us understand what the story of Minecraft: Story Mode will start with It's hard to believe that we are now less than two weeks out from the first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode hitting our systems. What isn't that hard to believe is that Telltale Games has given us our next big trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode; which of course covers some of the events of the first episode titled The Order Of The Stone. Pretty much just how all of the other titles in their arsenal roll these days so, like I said, no big surprise. Use this as a reminder that Minecraft: Story Mode is still coming and Mojang is still dedicated to bringing you more Minecraft. Read More...

Dive Deeper Into The Story Of SOMA With A Web Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
SOMA A new web series for SOMA has been released and it is aiming to bring us all deeper into the story behind SOMA with prequel events If you've had the pleasure to play, start to play, or finish SOMA then you know one of the greatest selling points of the game is the story here. It is thought provoking, dark, and just an interesting tale to wrap around the horror events of this PS4 and PC title. In fact for some SOMA has left players wanting more out of Frictional Games in the way of said story. I'm looking for more story and gameplay personally but it looks like all we are getting at this time is an expansion into SOMA with a live-action mini-series that will be available on the web. This Week In Video Games 9/21/15 — 9/25/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's always a great week in video games when you get to use a phrase like "butt theatrics" because it is used in a video game. It is also a good week here when you get to see a whole butt-load of Fallout 4 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider news hit the web. To go one step further it is another great week in video games when we were able to get out our review for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and sing all of the praises that we had for the game as it ate away at our time here. Other video games had to suffer for that one but it was completely worth it. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The Phantom Pain We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Is It Worth Your Time? Is it the conclusion to Kojima's version of the franchise we wanted? Here's Our Review Of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain We have finally made it to the conclusion of an era as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain marks the final part of the franchise being helmed by Hideo Kojima. It has been a long road and a rough one for those over at Kojima Productions but The Phantom Pain is here and we get to see if they put Konami's money to great use here. Ground Zeroes was a great, and small, taste of what The Phantom Pain could be and now it is time to see if all the teasing, hardships, and waiting have paid off. Read More...

Your Butt Theatrics Won't Stop Battleborn's Lothar Rendain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Battleborn We have our first real look at Battleborn's villain, Lothar Rendain, in the most recent game trailer for Battleborn and he explains how your butt theatrics won't save you Every good story game needs a great villain to overcome. Battleborn isn't a story game but a multiplayer online battle-arena game but it looks like it too is getting a badass villain to help force the badasses of Battleborn focus on why they are shooting it out. Also in what seems to be Gearbox's MO it looks like these "badasses" of Battleborn will be using said asses to add more butt jokes to the overwhelming number that is already in 2K Games' library. They all sure do like their butt jokes… Putting all that behinds us, pun intended, we have a new look at the villain of Battleborn named Lothar Rendain. Read More...

Wolfenstein One of the main voice actors for Wolfenstein: The New Order may have spilled the beans on if we are getting a sequel to Wolfenstein soon If rumors are true it looks like we may be getting a sequel to the smash hit Wolfenstein: The New Order . I know we already had the nice little prequel The Old Blood but it looks like Machine Games might be getting their wish of a sequel and it is already in the works. How is this? Well one of the voice actors from Wolfenstein: The New Order let slip that she is already laying down lines from a script to a sequel we may be seeing in 2017. Read More...

Bioshock A video game retailer may have spilled the beans on BioShock Collection and its existence in the latest BioShock rumor out there If you've been holding out for BioShock to make it to the next gen consoles then it looks like the wait may be paying off. If rumors are to be true here it looks like something called the BioShock Collection will be making its way to the PS4 and Xbox One here on November 27th. I believe we in the states here call that Black Friday. But that is the rumor that has made it online so take the news of a BioShock Collection however you will just know that 2K Games has already refused to address the claims with the usual "we do not respond…" style of answer. A new video for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 has been released that shows off more on the characters that are being added to the Plants Vs Zombies universe If you were looking for more on Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 then you have come to the right spot as we have more on the upcoming title hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next spring. By more we are talking about a little more in-depth looks at the six new characters that are making their way into PopCap Games' title and slightly more lore on each. SOMA's Story To Ask Us All What It Is To Be Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The story trailer for SOMA has been released and it gives a bit more insight into the philosophical questions that SOMA will be raising Up until now I have been trying to make heads and tails of what SOMA's overall story will be about. The game launches next week on September 22nd for the PC and PS4 so it seems like it would be high time for Frictional Games to delve into the weirdness that they are known to create. SOMA has definitely shown that freak flag since its very first teaser trailer and now the culmination is here. Along with that we also have some more insight into the story we will be experiencing here in SOMA via a nice new story trailer. Read More...

LEGO Dimensions Is Bringing Most Of The Original Voices Into The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
It looks like LEGO Dimensions is aiming for a truly immersive experience as many of the original voice actors are reprising roles for LEGO Dimensions If there is one thing I demand in my games like LEGO Dimensions it is authenticity. If there are two things I demand it would be that TT Games resurrected some of those dead actors to come back and reprise their roles in LEGO Dimensions. I don't care what kind of necromancy or time travel that would be needed but they have Warner Bros. money here so I am sure that they could do it. Read More...
