Jurassic World Evolution’s Gameplay Shows Off More Involvement In The Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Jurassic World New gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution is out there and it looks like there is a lot more to building our Jurassic World than many previously thought Last week we were hit with the release date for Jurassic World Evolution as well as all of the pre-order goodies that would go along with it. Nothing truly stood out for now to pre-order the game before June 12th so far unless you want to get a few of those extra dinosaurs that Frontier Developments has put together for the game. That is of course until we had a chance to see the latest gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution and now we have a bit more to go on and get excited about. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/26/18 — 3/30/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of March 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more solid week of video games in the bag. I really need to find a better way to wrap this all up each week. Nonetheless, it has been another fun week with pretty much all highs for the week. We had a whole lot of new information for God Of War and we had a chance to see that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is making the leap over to the Xbox One now. We also had a nice big gameplay dump for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden that showed us just how awesome that game is shaping up to be. Read More...

Pathfinder: Kingmaker Unloads Its Features With A Bit More Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Pathfinder A new trailer for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is here and it goes over some of the gameplay features as well as the elements it will bring from the base Pathfinder: Kingmaker version Last year we had a chance to watch as the Pathfinder: Kingmaker Kickstarter campaign fired off and then was a huge success almost doubling what the team over at Owlcat Games was looking for to bring it into existence. Being a fan of the tabletop version of the game and the specific adventure path, I was amped to see that it was going to be a thing and in similar veins of Baldur’s Gate with all of the political intrigue I have grown to love. Now we have our first real taste of just how this version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker has progressed and all of the extra features we are going to be getting in the final game with more as time presses on. Jurassic World Evolution’s Release Date Is Set & We Can Get Even More Dinosaurs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Jurassic World The release date for Jurassic World Evolution has been set with its pre-orders so you can pick it all up just before the next Jurassic World film hits We now have an official release date for Jurassic World Evolution and to very little surprise it is in line with the release of the new film in the same franchise. To think that Frontier Developments would miss out on that synergy of sorts would have been a hard sell for many, myself included. Although it does now place it right back into the realm of Jurassic World Evolution being a film tie-in video game but it does hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC digitally about ten days before on June 12th so there is a bit of a gap. Q.U.B.E. We sit down and review Q.U.B.E. 2. The puzzles and story continues as we try to make heads and tails of things. Here is our review of Q.U.B.E. 2 It is time to head back into the weirdness and puzzles with Q.U.B.E. 2. The sequel, obviously, to the last title that Toxic Games brought us that introduced us to some weird new puzzles to solve with the use of special cubes. Cubes that we bring to life with our special suit and granted through various other means. I know I particularly loved the first Q. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Put one more of those weeks of video games in the bag again, as we have come to a close yet again. Just for this week and not for good that is. With all kinds of news and updates out there. Although, it did seem to favor God Of War and Far Cry 5 more than anything. We did get to see the DLC for South Park: The Fractured But Whole launch and more for Detroit: Become Human, but those other two video games sure took up a whole lot of time this week. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of March 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus A new GDC demo for Metro Exodus has released and it gives us a new look at an old area to show how Metro Exodus will use RTX technology in game As if there was a doubt before that Metro Exodus was going to be the best-looking title in the line of titles so far, we have a new tech demo fresh from GDC that shows us just how amazing the game can look. This all comes from a collaboration between 4A Games and NVidia to use their new RTX technology in the 4A Engine. Yes, I know that sounds like a lot of technobabble for some gamers out there but it does all tie back into Metro Exodus. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Detroit New trailers for Detroit: Become Human are here and they give us all a little more insight into the characters of Detroit: Become Human and how they will be part of the same story There is still a bit to go before Detroit: Become Human launches. May 25th of this year on the PS4 is still the slated release date. We have had a few good looks at the characters we will be controlling before now, even if it has mainly been Connor, and now it is time to have yet another one. Quantic Dream did have one undertaking when they took on the multiple characters for one story thing yet again, but if anyone can do it, they can. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of March 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Batman A new trailer for Batman: The Enemy Within is here and takes us through the story so far, but on the side of the possible creation of Batman's greatest foe We have already had some nice screenshots for the final episode of Batman: The Enemy Within's season, and now it is time to have the trailer that usually follows right up. It is something that we have all grown to love about how Telltale Games gets their next parts of the story out there and things are not deviating here. Well, at least not too much as this is less of a trailer just for the next episode, but one for the whole season to show how our choices will shape one of Batman's greatest foes in the franchise. Scavengers A new survival shooter, Scavengers, has been revealed and will be using some new technology to keep Scavengers’ AI ahead of the curve Get ready to add another survival title into the mix as Scavengers has been announced and coming from Midwinter Entertainment. It will be their flagship title and will be hopefully making some big pushes for the gaming industry in terms of multiplayer survival shooters out there. Yes, that is the basics of Scavengers, but there is of course much more coming for it all. The Fight For Survival Begins With Extinction’s New Story Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of March 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Extinction A new story trailer for Extinction has just dropped and gives us all a better look at humanity, the heroes, and Ravenii within Extinction April 10th is fast approaching and we are all getting ready to jump into the world of Extinction. I know I am have been ready for some time now. Just in time to get us all pumped up a bit more for the game, Iron Galaxy has pumped out a new story trailer to give us a bit of the lore of what is going on in the game. Most of which done using, what I am assuming is the cut scene style of Extinction, in an animated form of video. A style I have been behind since I first saw that they were using it to push the game's story forward. Read More...

Jurassic World It looks like Jurassic World Evolution will have more Jeff Goldblum as he will be reprising his role form the films as we try to build our own Jurassic World in the game It looks like we can add a big name to the list of voice actors making their way into Jurassic World Evolution as it has been announced that Jeff Goldblum will be reprising his Dr. Ian Malcolm role just for the game. At least for the game here that Frontier Developments is making for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but it is something and now fans can get excited just for that. Read More...
