Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Time to put another week of video games in the bag and look back at what happened this week. It was a pretty big one for a few franchises out there as Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and The Division 2 where given the announcements and the hype for Far Cry 5 is hitting some heights. Portal We sit down and review Bridge Constructor Portal. It is all the fun of building bridges and the humor of Portal. Here is our review of Bridge Constructor Portal It can always be fun when we get mash-up video games out there that take two IPs and combine them into one and that is what Bridge Constructor Portal is here to do. The name here says it all as Headup Games aims to bring the game over to the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch for the first time to get us all into building bridges and then hoping for another Portal game to release. The Division It looks like The Division 2 is officially coming at us soon as we now have the announcement that The Division 2 is in the works and building from the past Fans of The Division will be glad to see that after two years of fun they are finally going to be getting The Division 2. Yes, it has been announced and heading to us at some point and from Massive Entertainment again. There is no word on when, but know that The Division 2 is definitely coming and with an upgraded version of the Snowdrop engine and with all the lessons learned from the last two years of The Division. Batman The final episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has been dated and it looks like it will have so many branches mixed in to dictate how Batman’s greatest foe will materialize As if we did not already have big games coming out on March 27th, it looks like the final episode of Batman: The Enemy Within will also be landing on that same day to bring the current story to an end. Given the timing one would think that Telltale Games would have tried for a different day, but it is what it is now. A Plague Tale New screenshots for A Plague Tale: Innocence are here and they give us a look at how some clashes have left more bodies lying around in A Plague Tale After a nice long wait, we finally have more to see for A Plague Tale: Innocence to get our hype back up for this interesting sounding title. In fact, last I saw anything for the game it was in a small room at E3 last year where Asobo Studio was showing off the very basics of the game and how we would be traversing a horror-scape filled with plague rats that could only be kept at bay by the light we held or set. The Beast Inside New gameplay of The Beast Inside’s current demo is out there now and it gives a better taste of what horror The Beast Inside will have for us The Beast Inside just recently kicked off the Kickstarter campaign to get the game funded and brought to completion. Since it launched it has been kicking ass and taking names as it is almost at its base goal with just under a month left to go. It looks like many out there are digging what Illusion Ray has to offer and want to see it come to completion. As things are in the world though, there are many who are on the fence for The Beast Inside, as they like to see some kind of substance of a game or item before throwing their hard-earned cash at it. The Council The first episode of The Council has been given a release date and we get to see more on how the developers of The Council are changing the formula on the genre It looks like The Council may have missed the mark a bit on the initial release date schedule but now it looks like we will get to see the first episode of the narrative adventure next week. Originally, Big Bad Wolf had planned or stated that we would get to see this first episode in February but now it is slated to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 13th. Biomutant New off-screen gameplay for Biomutant is here to look at as Biomutant was on the show floor at the PlayStation Arena in South Korea Here we go with a bit more gameplay for Biomutant and this time fresh from South Korea where the game was being shown off on the PS4 pro during an event. We have seen a bit of things from Experiment 101 in the past, but most of what they have shown has been small clips all linked together in weird ways and very little free-flowing gameplay. This could be just the setting that most of the events THQ Nordic has the game out at or maybe because they are trying to keep much of Biomutant under wraps for us to enjoy on our own. Life Is Strange The Farewell episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is here and gives us another look at this game and how things were before Life Is Strange proper Today marks the day that Life Is Strange: Before The Storm's "bonus" episode is here and ready for digestion on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. At least for those gamers out there who opted for the Digital Deluxe edition that Square Enix offered up. Detroit A new trailer for Detroit: Become Human is out there now fresh on the heels of the release date announcement that Detroit: Become Human just received If you missed it yesterday, Detroit: Become Human was finally given a solid release date and is hitting the PS4 on May 25th. That was part of the big news that Quantic Dream was holding on to and then there were also a few new screenshots for the game to show off the characters. It also introduced a few more without any context, but that is how it goes sometimes. Detroit The release date for Detroit: Become Human has finally been set down and with that comes a new batch of screenshots for Detroit: Become Human After so much waiting, we finally have a release date for Detroit: Become Human and now we can look for the game on May 25th of this year. It looks like Quantic Dream was telling the truth about hitting that Spring of 2018 release schedule and now we know when we can get the game on the PS4.
