E3 Hands-On Impressions of Batman: Arkham Asylum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of June 2009 - 11:05 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Asylum One game that seemed to be at every one of the big companies booths, sans Nintendo, was Batman Arkham Asylum. It even had it's own booth show casing it as well as an area in the Warner Brothers booth, with leather restraint chair for those who got to bonkers while checking out this game. You might be laughing, but we had to restrain Church at one point. Well he kind of just hopped into it for some reason, but this is not the point of this article. Read More...

Be Bionic
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of April 2009 - 10:47 PM ]
New Bionic Commando Video After playing this game almost a year ago at the '08 Comic Con, I wasn't all that impressed. I new it was in it's early stages of development at the time, as there was a large notice on screen and plastered all around that it was in early stages of development. So I passed it off and decided to wait for the whole process to be near it's end before giving any kind of thought on weither or not this game will be worth picking up. And well, it looks like they have solidified my opinion a little more with this new video for the game. Well it looks like they didn't do much to what I had originally played and seen almost a year ago. Read More...

How Do You Like Her New Uniform?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of April 2009 - 11:03 PM ]
Villains in Batman Arkham Asylum What kind of Batman game would the new Arkham Asylum be if it only had the main baddy of the Joker and a slew of crazed "escaped" patients for Batman to wade through? Well a short type of game really. There are only so many regular patients for you to incapacitate before you got your hands around the killing jokester. Or just very repetitive. Which is why we can rest assured that this one will be a very interesting and fun game, as here are two more of the named baddies you will have to face off on. Read More...

Go Utah??
by Binh Nguyen [ Thursday, 26th of March 2009 - 11:34 AM ]
Well it seems Utah is not as conservative after all. Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (r) has vetoes video games and movie retail restriction bill. To those who don’t know about it, it’s the bill (that was originally written by Jack Thompson and legislator Mike Morle) that would enforce strict penalties on retailers who sells M-Rated games and Rated R movies to “buyers subject to an age restriction or recommendation.”   Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (r) wrote a letter to House Speaker David Clark and Utah Senate President Michael Waddoups about why he vetoed the video game bill: (from Sainless: http://saintless.com/2009/03/25/gov-vetoed-hb-353/)“Dear Speaker Clark and President Waddoups: After careful consideration and study, I have decided to veto HB 353, TRUTH IN ADVERTISING ACT AMENDMENTS, and have transmitted it to the Lieutenant Governor for filing. The Joke Is On...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of January 2009 - 06:30 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Asylum "Joker's Trap" trailer Yet another trailer for this awesome looking game just came out. Arkham Asylum is the game for those who glanced over the titles. But back on topic. This trailer give you a good look at some cut scenes as well as a bit of game play for the game. It looks dark, twisted and how a Batman game should look. On top of all of that, it gives you the overview of the story of the game. Or at least why Batman has to go around kicking ass and taking names in Arkham. Read More...

by Ben Brody [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2008 - 01:15 AM ]
Okay, so not many of you may remember the 2002 game Command & Conquer: Renegade but it was CNC's first, and so far only, foray into the FPS genre. That was about to change in 2009 with EA's Tiberium (it would've been the first game without the Command and Conquer prefix), a first person shooter based in 2058, about 11 years after the third Tiberium war. In a statement released by EA on Tuesday, it was revealed that the reason for the cancellation was due to poor quality. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of June 2008 - 04:48 PM ]
Capcom's Gamer Day Alright, so, I wasn't able to make it to this years Capcom convention. A little upset since it took place in my home city. It was an extremely closed group of the press and 5 lucky Capcom fans that got to go in and check everything out that Capcom has coming up. I'm a little let down I didn't go, but I have the stories to share with ya. The guys at one of the best Game sites, Kotaku.com, has all the stuff we want. Read More...
