WWE 2K15 Delayed For Current Gen Platforms
by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 16th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Looks like we will have to wait a bit longer to play WWE 2K15 on the PS4 and Xbox One WWE 2K15 for the PS4 and the Xbox One has been delayed to November 18th instead of its original planed date of October 28th. It looks as though this delay only affects those platforms as the PS3 and the Xbox 360 versions of the game are still slated for October 28th. 2K Games has not revealed the reason for the delay as of yet but perhaps the current gen version needs some polish for some of the features not present in the last gen versions? The new release date is a bit concerning because this puts the game against some huge releases in November such as Grand Theft Auto V, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Far Cry 4 Proves Elephants Crave The Taste Of Human Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Far Cry 4 shows us all the fun things we are going to get to do with Elephants during the game I am a huge fan of getting new fun facts every day and it looks like Far Cry 4 is filled with them. At least if you believe everything that is stated in the latest gameplay video for the game that Red Storm and Ubisoft have released into the wild. It is a nice little look at how we will be able to use the elephants in Far Cry 4 as well as some other additional gameplay we can all look forward to come to our PS3, PS4, XB1, XB360, or PCs this coming November. That is going to be a huge month for Ubisoft isn't it? Read More...

Skylanders Trap Team Adds More Kaos To The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Kaos Doom Challenge and plays like a tower defense Just in case giving us the ability to use and play as the villains in Skylanders Trap Team wasn't enough, it looks like we are getting yet another mode to play the game in. No longer do we have just a fun little platformer game but now we are looking at a "tower defense" of sorts making its way into the game in the form of the Kaos Doom Challenge. There is something about that word and Kaos that I can't just seem to put my finger on…* Anyways, this new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team looks to pit players and all of their Skylanders in a 100 wave of "doom" where enemies will be flooding the arena to take you down. Mixed in will be the "Mystery Box of Doom" that will unleash gigantic villains into the mix to ensure your ultimate doom. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Once again we have come to a close on all that video games news here on the site. Mostly this week towards release dates for titles, Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, or Alien Isolation. Guns Are Not Always The Best Option In Alien Isolation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The How Will You Survive video series continues for Alien Isolation showing off why guns don't solve everything in the game If you've been out of the loop then you may have missed that Sega and Creative Assembly have a nice little video series slowly coming out for Alien Isolation. The idea behind it all is how to survive in the world that the game takes place in. It is also a nice look at how not to play Alien Isolation as the actions taken by the player in these videos seem to always lead to the titular alien hunting them down and doing very bad things to them. This latest trailer is no exemption from the concept. Read More...

We've Boosted Some New Assassin's Creed Unity Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Unity showing off the Heist Co-op mode Before when I made comments on Assassin's Creed Unity looking more Thief-like by the day, I was just goofing around. With the latest gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Unity it looks like I am more and more on par; the most recent video of course covering the new Heist Co-op play mode for the game. This makes it so you no longer need to be assassin's but are rewarded on how much better a thief you are than a killer. The bigger difference is that in Assassin's Creed Unity it looks like Ubisoft nailed the gameplay mechanics that were lacking in other's titles… Unlike the game that will no longer be mentioned, Assassin's Creed Unity's heist mode will pit players to traverse areas to attempt to steal some item from said area. No Escape Now That Alien Isolation Has Gone Gold
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Alien Isolation has gone gold and with that announcement Sega and Creative Assembly have given us a new trailer for the game It's always a good day when we can say that a game has gone gold and there are no more delays, which happens to be just the case for Alien Isolation. So far the alpha and beta builds of the game have handled amazingly as well as brought the horror back to the franchise. This is one of the few titles I am still looking forward to for the rest of this year so the golden announcement will make this October 7th such an amazing day. To go along with the announcement of Alien Isolation getting the little gold sticker, it looks like we are also going to have a bit of fun leading up to the release of the game with a new "trailer series" titled How Will You Survive? Looks Like We Are Getting One More Assassin's Creed Title This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has just announced a new collection of titles for the Assassin's Creed franchise titled the Birth Of A New World - The American Saga launch before the newer titles Just in case you didn't think you were going to get enough Assassin's Creed this year with Unity and Rogue launching in November it looks like there is another set of titles coming just weeks before the one-two punch of those titles. All on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC at that. This new addition to the franchise is Assassin's Creed: Birth Of A New World — The American Saga although it really isn't a fully new addition to the universe but a way to get caught up on all the lore and events leading up to Rogue/Unity. Slender: The Arrival Arriving Soon On Consoles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Slender: The Arrival is bringing its brand of horror to the PS3 and Xbox 360 before the end of September It's been almost a year since Slender: The Arrival released on Steam and well over a year for the release before that. To be honest I never was able to get caught up in the fun of Slenderman being that I am primarily a console player. Boo and hiss all you want but that won't change things for me right now. What is changing though is that Slender: The Arrival is being brought over to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 23rd so now all of us gamers can experience what the phenomenon is all about. We've Hunted Down Some New Assassin's Creed Rogue Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed Rogue and it looks like Shay has some work cut out for him We had a few images for Assassin's Creed Rogue yesterday and now it looks like we have a bit more gameplay to show in video form. Not only has a bit of gameplay but it looks like a bit more of the game's story has been mixed into the footage as well. Granted it isn't much more than we already know but one thing it does seem to stress upon is that Shay will be hunted just as he is hunting down the assassin's in Assassin's Creed Rogue. This no begs the question of how all of this will play together in the final product and story here. Read More...

Let's Go Live With Destiny In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new live action trailer for Destiny has been released showing off how the game should feel when playing with friends I made the comment earlier that people have been losing their excitement for Destiny as the game's launch date looms even closer. I also claimed that something needed to be done to get the excitement back even after the Planet View site cropped up. Well it would seem that my complaints and wishes were answered as we have a new live action trailer for Destiny now and it does nothing but show off why we should be excited for the game. Even though it is mainly focused on the multiplayer aspect of the game's world. Read More...

Here Are The Ins And Outs Of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Multiplayer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
All of the basics of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer are explained in the most recent trailer released from Sledgehammer and Activision Last month Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer was shown off to the public during the Gamescom event. Everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about what was shown even though it was only the tip of the iceberg, so to say. Obviously be who we all are we want to see more of the gameplay, modes, customization, and kills coming in the next Call Of Duty. The next bit of wait time is over now as we have a nice long look at the multiplayer just a bit lower down the page. Read More...
