The first developer diary for Battlefield Hardline has been released at it shows all of the care that Visceral Games took to make it the best yet I have been impressed with what I have seen for Battlefield Hardline up until now. It really looks like a next gen title as well as a welcomed, at least by me, deviation from the standard warfare title that Battlefield has almost always been. Night Cry, the official name for Project Scissors and spiritual successor for Clock Tower, has a short film and is looking for funding now So we have a new short film for Night Cry, the official name for Project Scissors and spiritual successor for Clock Tower, and while it may not give us much of anything for the game it will most likely be one of the more bizarre things you see today. This game is coming from Hifumi Kono, creator of the Clock Tower game series, and Takashi Shimizu, director of The Grudge so we really shouldn't be expecting anything less right? What looks to be the first 20 minutes of Life Is Strange has been released online so we can all get basic judgments out of the way Life Is Strange is only a few days out from launch so it isn't too strange that there is already gameplay footage for the game floating out there. Seeing as Square Enix and Dontnod haven't busted their asses to have it taken down from YouTube yet I think they are fairly okay with the fact that the first 22 minutes of the game can be viewed now. Just in case 22 minutes of Life Is Strange isn't enough and all. More than that would just be downright ludicrous and would require the whole servers to be taken down so as to not ruin any part of the game, or at least the first episode, before January 30th. I feel like I have said that a lot this week. One of the things that I know I've been curious on for the game has been the rewind mechanic that we will all get to employ in the game. This is kind of one of the core things and builds off one of the best mechanics in Dontnod's previous title Remember Me. Rebellion has announced that a Zombie Army Trilogy will be coming for the PS4 and Xbox One with additions for those PC adopters Rebellion has announced today that we will be getting the Zombie Army Trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox One sometime this year. These would be a collection of HD remastered version of the Sniper Elite post-apocalyptic spin-offs titled Zombie Army. A test market survey for Far Cry from Ubisoft was sent out and it alludes to other options that we may see for the franchise moving forward Marketing surveys can be fun and in the case of the most recent one for Far Cry from Ubisoft it looks like the fun doesn't stop. In fact it flows and has now added all kinds of speculation to the future of the franchise that they are still doing extremely well with. At least last I checked Far Cry 4 was still one of their top selling titles from last year but the video game industry can be a fickle bitch. Project Scissors, the spiritual sequel to Clock Tower, has had its first live action teaser released to show the theme and mood of the final game Fans of the Clock Tower franchise may be familiar with the upcoming Project Scissors title coming soon. It is pretty much the "spiritual sequel" to the franchise. How it is only going to be a "spiritual" sequel instead of an actual sequel is beyond me as Project Scissors is being made by the same guy who directed the original series; but that is me just splitting hairs when we don't need to. Ultra-violent game Hatred has been Greenlit on Steam despite the outcry and disgust from the gaming community For a game like Hatred that has been getting a lot of hatred, pardon the puns this time, it seems odd that if all of it was true then the game would not have been approved by Steam's Greenlight project. Yes, Hatred has reached the appropriate level of positive votes and it is now greenlit to be on Steam once Destructive Creations actually finishes building the game. It looks like all of that "negative" press the game was getting finally made this title get the steam roller momentum, pun not intended, so we will be seeing Hatred on our PCs via Steam in 2015.
