Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It doesn't look like we started the new year in video games out with as quite a bang as many were hoping. Rumors and delays were all over the place this week and that doesn't bode well for the rest of the year. Hells, even the announcement of the Oculus Rift's release date and price didn't go over all that well. Rise Of The Tomb Raider The final release date for Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PC version has been revealed and those gamers will be playing Rise Of The Tomb Raider before the end of January What was being speculated for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has now been confirmed as we have a solid date that the game is heading to the Windows and Steam platforms. Yes, Square Enix has now confirmed that PC gamers will be getting to experience Rise Of The Tomb Raider on January 28th. Rise Of The Tomb Raider A new Steam listing for Rise Of The Tomb Raider indicates that we may be seeing a PC version of Rise Of The Tomb Raider by January of next year If reports and websites are true then it looks like the wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit anything but an Xbox One or and Xbox 360 is going to be a lot shorter for us all. In fact it looks like many PC gamers will be enjoying Crystal Dynamics' latest title here as soon as January of next year if there hasn't been some kind of glitch in the system for Steam. There is still no word on when Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be hitting the PS4 as of yet but at least there is some more light being shined on the "exclusivity" of the game and when it will end. Minecraft The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's fourth episode is upon us and it gives us all a nice look at the end of one of the big bads in Minecraft as we press on Next week is more than just Christmas and every other winter solstice holiday but it also is the week that Minecraft: Story Mode gets it fourth episode released to us all. This also happens to be the point where Telltale Games is ending one of the major story lines in Minecraft: Story Mode with the Wither Storm. This has been the driving goal for all of the heroes so far but as there is one more episode after this one we will be seeing more of Mojang's creation in Minecraft: Story Mode next year as well. Resident Evil New Resident Evil 0 HD footage has made its way online and lets us all see how Resident Evil 0's Wesker Mode will handle More gameplay for Resident Evil 0's HD remaster has surfaced out of the hiding holes of Umbrella for us to see. This time it all focuses on the new Wesker Mode that Capcom is giving us when the game launches on January 19th next year. This mode isn't anything new in terms of news but now we can see how Wesker will alter the gameplay of Resident Evil 0 in the new mode. Worth noting again though is that this isn't the Resident Evil 0 Wesker we know but the Resident Evil 5 super charged Wesker and the mode can only be unlocked after completing the game once.
