by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of February 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with yet another week in video games in the bag. As usual there was so very much that we had to cover and we did our damnedest to make sure we were able to get to every last bit that we could. We did have a lot more on the Far Cry Primal and Paragon side of things than could have been expected but the world of video games is a fickle bitch. I'm just glad we were able to get to the Layers Of Fear and Minecraft: Story Mode reviews we kept talking about that last few weeks. That all said, now we just have to keep looking forward to the next week and all of the other video games that we are going to hear about in the coming days. Read More...

Of course there is a lot of speculation going around about the game and where it will take the story that bridges the comics but Telltale Games hasn't given us too much to go on for it all. As of yet. Read More...

DOOM Is Finally Coming This May & Bringing Something Extra
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
DOOM The release date for DOOM has been set and we also have a nice, new collector's edition for DOOM to try and get us to drop even more money on the game The wait is almost over for DOOM, or at least in sight, as we now have a solid release date for the game and it is May 13th 2016. Looks like id Software has finally made it to a place in the development process where they feel they can dictate when DOOM hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC without worry of having to delay. Now mostly everything rests on Bethesda's shoulders to make sure we all know about DOOM and what to expect in this title even though the franchise has been around for over two decades. Hopefully you have a grasp on it so far. Read More...

Friday The 13th During PAX South Friday The 13th: The Game was shown off to the crowd a bit more and we were able to see how many of Friday The 13th's incarnations of Jason we will get I am pretty sure that most of you who have clicked in here know what Jason Voorhees looks like from Friday The 13th. It is a pretty icon look and killer for us all to know. Of course that is for the film franchise and not Friday The 13th: The Game that Gun Media is still aiming to get to us sometime this Fall for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 30th of January 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week in video games did start out on a somber note but then things escalated quickly. I'm talking about the delay announcement at the start of the week and then a whole slew of new games like Conan Exiles and Song Of The Deep getting full announcements. We even were able to put a nail in the announcement of TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan and sit back and wait for that to come out now. All kinds of great news in video games and we haven't even made it into the bulk of PAX South that is going on right now. Read More...

Umbrella Corps Gets Solo Play & Some Recognizable Maps
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Umbrella Corps New information for Umbrella Corps has been released and it details a solo mode for Umbrella Corps as well as a few RE4 and RE5 inspired locations to fight in So far Umbrella Corps has had the focus placed on the multiplayer aspect of the game. It has all been a lot of "What would Resident Evil have been like from the side of the trained military group from Umbrella and other corporation vying over the bio-weapons" kind of thing so far. Well it looks like Capcom isn't going to have only that kind of gameplay in Umbrella Corps when it lands in May for the PS4 and PC. In fact there is now a new mode for the game called "The Experiment" that is all about the solo play of Umbrella Corps and how that can pan out. Read More...

The Cops Can't Save You In Friday The 13th: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Another non-gameplay video for Friday The 13th: The Game has been released to show how players can call in cops to help them in Friday The 13th though it won't help Another Friday The 13th: The Game video and yet another case of no gameplay. You'd think by now that Gun Media would have given us all something in terms of new gameplay but it looks like all we are going to be getting will be game mechanic videos to describe how Friday The 13th will play when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year. At least if they still hit their mark given the lack of gameplay video to see for Friday The 13th and all. But moving on now… In this new clip we get to see another way that the counselors can try to survive the match in Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode Minecraft: Story Mode is finally making the leap to the Wii U so now Nintendo fans will be able to enjoy Minecraft: Story Mode in all of its glory It looks like we have yet another platform to the mix for Minecraft: Story Mode as the game is making the leap to the Wii U now. It looks like Telltale Games was done with losing out on dominating all of the platforms out there for the Mojang franchise and not Minecraft: Story Mode is landing on January 21st in terms of the first episode. Now almost no one will have an excuse for not playing this game and hopefully none of their other titles out there. Read More...

DOOM Has Some Menacing New Screenshots & Details To Digest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
DOOM A fresh batch of screenshots for DOOM have been released as well as a few highlights from the upcoming coverage of DOOM in Game Informer for us to take in Most of everything is stated in the above as we have some new screenshots for DOOM out there and ready for us all to pick apart and enjoy as id Software continues their work toward bringing us this franchise again. It does look like they are nailing DOOM to the best of their abilities from just the visuals we are getting here but there is still so much more until we can add this game to the great wall of Bethesda when DOOM launches sometime this spring. At least that is still the tentative time for DOOM to come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...
