Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Another solid week in video games in the bag and damn this one was filled with a lot of exciting things. We were able to get out our reviews for Adr1ft and Batman from Telltale and we also were able to see THQ come back into form in a small way. Also a whole lot of updates to other video games like Gears Of War 4 and Resident Evil 7 for us all to chew on. THQ In an interesting turn of events THQ is sort of back as Nordic Games has rebranded itself to THQ Nordic and has a load of games in development Talk about a way to end this week on as it looks like THQ is coming back after shutting down back in 2013. Not the direct company and employees that were let go but it looks like Nordic Games has chosen to rebrand themselves now they own the rights to a whole lot of successful IPs and names they picked up back then. Their new name is now THQ Nordic and they are coming out swinging with some amazing news. Some of that news being that they have at least 13 titles in the works already that we have yet to hear about and many others that we should all know very well by now. Read More...

Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — Realm Of Shadows. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did It seemed like a weird time to bring out Batman: The Telltale Series given all of the other titles fighting for the limelight back when the game was first announced. But given that Telltale Games has had a pretty solid record on their storytelling titles to date I know myself and many other tried to ignore all of the other Batman going on to give this version of the franchise a fair shake. Mafia 3 Two new video s for Mafia 3 have been released with one showing off the 3rd lieutenant and the other Mafia 3's districts built in the city It looks like I may have spoken too soon on the lieutenant side of things yesterday for Mafia 3. Yes, we had a good behind the scenes look at Cassandra as Hangar 13 has crafted her but I know I was looking to find out about Vito Scaletta and his whole story. Or at least as much of the story for Mafia 3 as 2K Games is willing to give us all as we wait for the October 7th release date for the game. ADR1FT We sit down and review ADR1FT. A new exploratory title that shows us some great fears of space. Here's our review of ADR1FT When I first saw ADR1FT I was under the impression it was just another serene space adventure that was a "paint by numbers" kind of design. Then as Three One Zero kept giving us more and more to look at the game evolved and looked like it was becoming truly unique all its own. Now that 505 Games has released the game we have had a chance to play and review ADR1FT in all of its forms outside of just watching nice little trailers. Mafia 3 A new behind the scenes video for Mafia 3 has been let loose and it gives us even more insight into Mafia 3's Cassandra; the Voodoo Queen I know I was looking forward to hearing more about the lieutenants of Mafia 3, specifically the third one, and it looks like we have more right here. Sadly, it isn't on the third lieutenant but a behind the scenes video from Hangar 13 on more of Cassandra's motives and wants in the game and overall story. I was pretty sure that we had a good taste from 2K Games so far on Cassandra out of Mafia 3 to keep us up to snuff until October 7th. I guess it's just time to tease us a bit more and give us another fun look at the writing process of the game. Read More...

Gears Of War 4 New gameplay for Gears Of War 4 has been released and it is aimed to show us how the new enemies of Gears Of War 4, the Deebee, will be a force to fear Only a few months now until we will be playing Gears Of War 4 and seeing all of the new features, missions, and enemies coming to the franchise. The Coalition has been working hard on it all and October 11th will be the date that we all get to see the game in action on the Xbox One and Windows PC. Thankfully though, we won't have to wait that long to get to see some of the new enemies for Gears Of War 4 as we have some new gameplay to look at as Old-Man Fenix and his son fight their way through the game's world and the new enemies called the Deebee. Here's our review of The Technomancer Here we go with another lesser known RPG game set in a weird future in terms of The Technomancer. This would be the latest RPG title that Spiders has put out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and so far it has been getting mixed reviews. Thankfully Focus Home Interactive gave us the chance to check out The Technomancer and give it a solid play-though. We had a whole lot of great and not so great updates for many of the titles we are looking forward to. Yes we did have to see Outlast 2 get delayed and that we will have to pay for the extras on Final Fantasy XV but on the plus side we were able to see amazing things for Hellblade and No Man's Sky. This would be the Irish fellow we've seen in the past videos that 2K Games has given us and the most chaotic addition for the bunch. No Man's Sky Another roundup trailer for No Man's Sky has been released and it sums up the four basic pillars of No Man's Sky in one solid place before launch Only a few days until No Man's Sky finally hits the PS4 and PC and I know many of you can't wait. Hells, there are people out there paying obscene amounts of money to play what Hello Games has built for us all because they can't wait. Kind of crazy to think but none the less No Man's Sky still launches this coming Tuesday and we still have some more to see for this procedurally generated title. Paragon The next hero added to Paragon has been shown off and now we can see what to expect from The Fey as she joins Paragon's fight It's crazy to think that it's already been three weeks since the last big update for Paragon and now we have yet another character joining the huge fight in terms of The Fey. This would be the new character coming from Epic Games in the big update here on August 2nd for the game on the PS4 and PC. Mafia 3 A new video series for Mafia 3 has begun and each looks to let us get to know the lieutenants of Mafia 3 we will be working with and appeasing Way back in June we were properly introduced to the lieutenants that we will be in control of in Mafia 3 when it launches. We had a fun look at how Hangar 13 has set up a pretty dynamic way for them to be integrated into the game as well as a quick overview of their personalities. Of course that is going to play a big part in the overall scheme of Mafia 3 so it would be nice to get to know them a bit more. Darksiders The rumored remaster of Darksiders has now become a reality as the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is heading to current gen systems this October If you were like me and questioning why we had the second Darksiders game remastered and no word on the first title, then you'll be glad to see that we now have the answer. It looks like Nordic Games was having that one remastered as well by KAIKO and now we are on the verge of getting it.
