Review — Hand Of Fate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hand Of Fate. Is this a sleeper hit that you need to try or just another game to throw aside? Here's Our Video Review Have you heard of Hand Of Fate from Defiant Development? Maybe you have and maybe you haven't but it is an interesting take on quite a few different video game genres and physical card games and RPGs. Think something along the lines of Magic: The Gathering meets a Tarot deck with a bit of a Dungeons & Dragons flare mixed in. It sounds a bit odd from that description; it did to me too, but is it worth your time and attention? Read More...

There Is So Much Drama Around Resident Evil Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2015 - 06:03 PM ]
A new Resident Evil Revelations 2 trailer has been released that shows a bit more of the overarching story and horror that Resident Evil fans should know We knew there would be horror and a lot of crazy monsters to run from in Resident Evil Revelations 2 but it looks like there is going to be a bit more flare to the drama when it comes to the story. Where does this come from? Well from the recent "drama trailer" for Resident Evil Revelations 2 that has been given out to the world by Capcom as we lead into the release of the first episode. ScreamRide Is Coming & We'll Be Able To Scare Riders Sooner
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
ScreamRide has a new launcher trailer and a bit of information on the Demo that is available today for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 ScreamRide had to be one of the more bizarre titles I saw at E3 during the Microsoft Conference. This would be the title from Frontier Developments where we will get to make some insane roller coaster or amusement rides all in the vein of generating screams. More or less a torture simulator when you split hairs only that the NPCs involved in the game don't seem to get injured and love being placed in life-threatening situations. Most people wouldn't find ScreamRide fun, I would think, if there were truly being injured. Read More...

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Gets Delayed By A Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of January 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
Resident Evil Revelations 2's first episode has been delayed by one week for extra polish according to Capcom That's right. Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been delayed and according to what Capcom says it is all for "extra polish" to be placed on the game when it finally launches on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. That pretty much means that the QA department over there found too many bugs that caused enough issue for a recall to be made. It's either that or there is some other huge conspiracy for the se7en day delay until February 24th for Resident Evil Revelations 2. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — Resident Evil Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See Resident Evil Revelations 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. It is coming out here in a few months but is it going to be worth our time and money We've had the release date for the first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 already but we've yet to have a whole lot of time to have hands on with how this new game will handle. Luckily it was on the floor of PlayStation Experience for all of us to give a quick run through of what we've seen time and time again already. I was lucky enough to wait to get a chance to see if Resident Evil Revelations 2 is going to be more like the current versions of the franchise or if it really does go back its root or more along with Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Not Just Escort Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Two new gameplay videos for Resident Evil Revelations 2 have been released showing off how each character can help and team up to survive Slowly but surely we are going to see all of the game mechanics for Resident Evil Revelations 2 through short little clips. In fact two more little clips have cropped up here from the Resident Evil YouTube account that show off how the "buddy cop" thing is going to work out for you. Well at least in the regards of making sure Moira and Claire don't die and how they can help each other to explore and stay alive from all of the Afflicted in Resident Evil Revelations 2. At least there is one thing that they seem to be not making and that is another escort game where your partner is pretty much useless when not directly controlling them. Read More...

See How Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Going To Handle In Your Hands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Some new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has surfaced and it shows off the menu system as well as the controller scheme We've seen Resident Evil Revelations 2 in action already but until now there was no context on how everything was being driven and controlled. It was easy to assume the basic for the game as Capcom doesn't deviate from the basics all too much. I mean why would you change Up on the Left Stick from moving the character forward and all that? It would make no sense unless you were making a title specifically to mess with the norm and let's face it, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is not a game that looks to be deviating from the norm but giving us more of the Resident Evil franchise in our faces. Have A Crisper Look At Resident Evil: Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have some new Resident Evil: Revelations 2 gameplay footage that shows off a bit more on the characters and enemies of the game We've had some early and odd looks at Resident Evil: Revelations 2 so far and if you are like me you want to see a bit more to be able to pass the proper judgment before shelling out the cash. While Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set to be episodic in nature, there is nothing worse than getting partially involved only to see the game tank part way through. The only bonus is that you don't have to pay for the whole thing up front and can slowly pay for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC as you wish. Read More...

New Resident Evil Revelations 2 Gameplay Takes Franchise Back To Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The latest Resident Evil Revelations 2 gameplay footage shows how Capcom has brought the franchise back to survival horror instead of action horror Just like Final Fantasy XV it looks like Resident Evil Revelations 2 is getting the trailer and then the gameplay treatment from the TGS. Here is where the gameplay comes in with what looks like the PS3 driving the game during a nice long demo for the game. At least I am assuming the PS3 as it is using the controls that are not on the Xbox One or Xbox 360 and the visuals don't look crisp enough to be the PS4 running. Then again this could all be the video quality that was spread over the net. Read More...
