Did You Google Swinging Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2009 - 09:15 PM ]
Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop Webisode 2 So if two day is too long to wait for a chance to try out the motion controls for Capcom's new Dead Rising game, they have brought out another of those fun little videos showing you the controls for the game. This time it shows off how to attack with any of the melee weapons you can pick up in the game. As we know there are a lot of random things like this in this franchise. As you guessed it, it really just comes down to waving the WiiMote to swing the weapon at your targets. Read More...

Concepts Not In Limbo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2009 - 05:39 PM ]
Some Concept Art From Dante's Inferno After seeing the awesome trailer for the game yesterday, I thought it would be a bit more time before we saw anything further for this game (Dante's Inferno). Partially I was right, partially I was wrong. Unless of course you count concept art for some of the scenes in the trailer to be new and cool images for the game. If you do though, then here you go. EA has handed out some of the artwork behind some of the visuals you got to see so far. Read More...

Go To Hell!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of February 2009 - 04:52 PM ]
Dante's Inferno Trailer I remember back when I had to read this book (Divine Comedy) for school and write a paper on the travels of Dante through the levels of Hell. What I don't remember was it looking this cool in my head when I was reading it. If it did, I probably would have continued to be an English major or something. Most likely not. But for those of you who are like me or are being forced to go through the same things I did so many years ago, here are some great visuals for you to take in and use when reading the book. Space MMO Not Star Trek Or Star Wars
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of February 2009 - 09:20 PM ]
NASA Unveils New Online Game Given the fact that the American Space Program has been failing, at least when it comes to the government side of things, there has been little to no excitement about going up into space. I mean can you remember the last time we launched anything from our own country (America)? Most likely not. Most of the memorable launches have been either the ones that explode or the ones that do a first for space. Read More...

It Was Late For An Important Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of February 2009 - 04:24 PM ]
EA and Spicy Horse Return to Wonderland for All-New Alice Title Yes, you read that title right, if you read it that is. EA and Spicy Horse are working on a new Alice game to follow up the awesomeness of the 2000 game of the same title. Alice for those that got confused with the round about talk there. Little else has been brought up about this title other than just the announcement and how excited American McGee is to be working on a follow up to the twisted view of Alice in Wonderland. Well outside of the announcement that it will be produced for PCs, PS3s, and XBoxes instead of just PCs like the first go around. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of February 2009 - 04:35 PM ]
EA Announces Dead Space Extraction Exclusive for the Wii Not to long ago it was brought up that there was going to be a Wii port of Dead Space. Well this was only partial true and based off of reports from an interview. But today came the full on announcement about the Wii version of the game, or should I say the Wii prequel to the game. Yes, it'll be kind of like Resident Evil 0 on the GameCube for the game that came on so strong for the PS3, XBox, and PC. Dead Space: Extraction will be the story leading up to the opening of Dead Space. Read More...

FEAR 2 Review
by Ben Brody [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2009 - 02:28 AM ]
What's scarier than a little 7 year old girl just absolutely tearing people apart? Nothing, that's what. FEAR 2, the true sequel to FEAR, comes to us from Monolith and is hands down one of the scariest games ever. Dead Space, Silent Hill, and Condemned are given a run for their money with Alma, the girl previously mentioned. The game starts out about 30 minutes prior to the ending of the first game and puts you in the shoes of Sgt. Michael Becket, a Delta Force member who was mentioned in the first game as apart of a team assigned to bring Genevieve Aristide and put her into protective custody, which is the first mission of the game. Gamer Valentines For The Season Sometimes us gamers are not the best at expressing the way we feel to those we stalk love. We can't all be Casanova. But we do luck out when Singles Awareness Day rolls around when someone else goes out of there way to hook us up with some great way to let that special prey one know. In fact, if you look below, I've complicated a small group of some game inspired cards that you can send while sitting outside of their home in your car thinking of that special person. The best ones I found are from Left 4 Dead and Starcraft II. Read More...

Go Joe!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of February 2009 - 05:30 PM ]
EA Confirms Covert Mission to Create Action-Packed G.I. JOE® Video Game Inspired by Upcoming Film From Paramount Pictures, Spyglass Entertainment and Hasbro It should come to no surprise that with the new film coming out this summer that there would be a game to go along with it. But there has been no solid word on that at all. But NDA's are a funny thing. It looks like EA has been working on this title for a while in the dark shadows of the game developer world. Read More...
