Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes one more week down in this year and so much to look forward to and also lament in the industry now. Some video games were announced, others delays, and others just with some new updates. Thankfully, we had a chance to see a bit of ILL and Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous out there. Not to mention we had another one of those video games launch and reviewed with Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood and then the Hitman 3 updates too. Read More...

Succubus Is Going To Let Us Customize A Whole Lot Of The Game’s World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Succubus New footage for Succubus is here to show off just how much freedom of customization we will have with the Succubus and the lairs out there The progression for Succubus continues and this time it looks like we are going to be getting a whole lot of new options to play with for the character and game when it drops out there. Something that feels a little odd given that this is all an off-shoot from the core game that Madmind Studio had out there a little while ago, but it is nice to see when smaller studios can thrive. In this instance, it looks like we will have a whole lot more to play with and customize in Succubus than we ever saw in Agony and this could be for the better or for no real reason at all. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of February 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Eternal Threads New details for Eternal Threads are out there to better explain how we will manipulate the timeline of Eternal Threads to get the best outcome Here we go with a new and refreshing twist on a video game mechanic we have seen a few times, as Eternal Threads offers up a new way to work the time flow. For those that need some background, this would be the title coming out of Cosmonaut Studios that is a first-person narrative game that starts telling the story from the ending. In Eternal Threads it will be up to us to figure out how to alter the timeline and get different effects so we can help make the choices that lead to all characters living. Read More...

Hellpoint Is Coming To The Switch Next Month
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of January 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Hellpoint A release date for the Switch version of Hellpoint is now set with a new physical edition for Hellpoint coming too It is not like it was unknown that Hellpoint was going to be making the jump over to the Switch. We just did not have a solid release date for it, but that is all changing with the announcement that will now be February 25th or 26th. Not because there is some confusion or the developer not wanting to set a solid date. It is because there is a digital and physical edition for Hellpoint that will be dropping on the device respectively. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with the first week of the year in the bag and boy was it a crazy one. More on the world outside of video games, as it was a bit on the slower side per usual there, but that does not mean it was not crazy. Kelly Will Be Fully Back To Help Ash In Evil Dead: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of January 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Evil Dead The actress from Ash Vs Evil Dead will be back to fully voice her character in Evil Dead: The Game when it comes This may not be the biggest of break news out there, but as a fan of Ash Vs. Evil Dead and seeing some talent get more work, I am glad to report that it looks like Dana DeLorenzo will be lending her voice to bring Kelly to life in the game. It was assumed back when we first had the announcement from Boss Team Games that we would see the character as it did look like she was in there for a few seconds. Also, it was stated we would see some of those characters mixed into Evil Dead: The Game too. Read More...

Your Darkest Fantasy Might Be Coming True In Tormentor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of December 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Tormentor A new, and extremely dark game, Tormentor is announced with Tormentor promising the darkest fantasies of humans coming to life It does seem like Madmind Studios is not hurting for any ideas of video games that go down some very dark paths of sanity out there, and now we have Tormentor to keep an eye on. That or an eye on the studio with this game placing us in the role of a killer that hunts down victims, brings them back to a torture dungeon, and then streams the horrors online for others to watch. Yes, this sounds like a weird way to play Hostel in a video game form. Read More...

The Voices Out The Might Be Making Us More Paranoid
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of December 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Paranoid New footage for Paranoid is here to show off the game but also make us all feel a little more Paranoid in general It has been a while since we heard or saw anything from Paranoid and it feels like that might be by design. I say that as every time Madmind Studios steps up to offer up something new for the game, they come out swinging and make us all question a few things about their titles. All of which in the best of ways, as the latest we have here for Paranoid offers up some interesting visuals and maybe a little more to the overall plot of the game. Maybe, as it could also just all be in our head and what we think we are supposed to be taking away. Read More...
