Review: Mass Effect 2
by Michael Camacho [ Monday, 8th of February 2010 - 09:31 PM ]
*Disclaimer: If you have not played Mass Effect, then I urge you to play through it before reading this review, as it will contain some spoilers from the first game. After the original Mass Effect, Bioware had a tough job on their hands. They made an excellent game, but one that was hampered by complaints from the players. So during the two plus years since the original, Bioware has spent their time making the necessary changes. The final result is leaps and bounds ahead of the first. Read More...

Increase Your Credit-ability By Pre-Ordering Madden NFL 11
by Kevin [ Sunday, 7th of February 2010 - 09:25 PM ]
Well, seeing as how today is such a special day for football fans, it seems only right to present a deal for the current king of console gridiron - the John Madden NFL series.  Personally, I'm a 2k man, but since that series has gone the way of the dodo, I present a special deal to entice the Madden community. Both Amazon and Wal-Mart are having deals concerning the newest iteration of the title.Amazon proudly proclaims, "Get a $20 Video Games Credit: Pre-order Madden NFL 11, forWii, PS2, or Xbox 360, and get $20 off a future video game purchase. Brave Arms: The Facebook FPS
by Kevin [ Friday, 5th of February 2010 - 10:57 PM ]
3G Studios just announced that they would be crafting a first person "social shooter" for Facebook, arguably the most popular social networking site on the net. It seemed like this was in the making, the idea of a Facebook as a platform for more robust content (i.e. something a little more in-depth than say Farmville or Mafia Wars). As more and more companies seek to establish a presence on sites like Facebook, like EA staking their claim for instance by picking up Playfish, this seemed like a natural progression. So what does 3G Studios have in mind? Read More...

Rock Band To Let You Play The Super Bowl Half Time Show
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of February 2010 - 03:41 PM ]
Well as long as you have a version of Rock Band that allows for DLC to be added onto your game. That and wait until after the game to buy the track from the Rock Band store. Like you would break anyways right. Between the Super Bowl it's self and the Super Bowl Commercials, when would you find the time anyways. Well that and if you are not too drunk buy then, but now I'm flowing off topic. Any Who, the fine minds over at Harmonix have gotten a hold of what The Who are going to be performing during the Half Time show. Read More...

Aggrogamer Presents: 2009 Games of the Year
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2010 - 07:08 PM ]
When it comes to "Game of the Year" articles, they seem to all come out before the year is over. Is it a rush to be the first, or is it because no games really come out in December? Regardless, we at Aggrogamer decided it was best not to rush so we had time to play those few games that released in December. Everyone deserves a fair shot. We also thought of making just one list of our votes on Game of the Year, but instead settled on everyone coming up with their own lists and to forgo one single title as the Game of the Year. by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2010 - 03:04 AM ]

Mike's complaining about Modern Warfare 2, Brian is complaining about being sick and playing too many video games and Binh's complaint is he's enjoying Star Trek Online way more than he thought he would. The guys debate on Bayonetta's "features" and whether or not it is offensive. Our features include Bargain Binh going classic, On the DL will let the jury decide and your Netflix Pix takes a slide on the wild side. Remember to get the word out to the masses by rating and reviewing us on iTunes and the Zune Marketplace. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of January 2010 - 06:08 PM ]
When you have a red, hot rage against the gods like Kratos does, how are you suppose to quench it? A rage that is hotter than the deepest bowles of Tartarus hot. Well with the new Kratos Fury Slurpee being housed in your local Seven Eleven stores in the next week or so. Then you can probably enjoy this Blackberry and Lime flavored frozen delight all the way up until the launch of the game in March. At least that is how it was made to sound from Evan Brody, the Marketing Manager for Slurpee and Big Gulp Brands. To go a bit further for all of this, on each of the four different cups for this promotion there are codes you can input on Slurpee. Read More...

Go! Virtua Augment On!
by Kevin [ Thursday, 28th of January 2010 - 05:40 PM ]
You know, with Sony flaunting their wand, Microsoft showcasing Natal, and Nintendo - well, doing what Nintendo does, I should not be as impressed with following video. But I am, and I am more excited about this than any project proclaimed by the previous companies. I see so much more in this than the horrible advertisement videos that Microsoft produces for Natal. This is a demo for some very cool augmented reality technology - watch it, and then tell me that you'd rather play "Microsoft Presents: Avatar Kickball Powered by Natal" more than this. It's Virtual Virtua On with a customized interface to give you the utmost in ARG mechanized warfare. Read More...
