Some people like making playlists based on what they are going to be doing. A hardcore or upbeat one for working out or funerals. A soft and romantic one for laying down their pimp/pimpess game. Diablo III, just the title sends a rush of excitement through players all over the world. Today at Gamescom the Blizzard team announced a new feature they are calling the "Caravan". What is the caravan? Well basically it's taking a group of skilled craftsmen with you where ever you go. Rather than going back to a town you will have a living breathing camp that follows you from location to location giving you round the clock access to NPC's, quest givers and artisans. Artisans will be your crafters, from blacksmiths to jewel crafters, and you will add these artisans to your Caravan as you travel the world, finding them through the main quest line. You will be working on gaining each artisan's loyalty by completing quest lines for each artisan while completing the main quest. Read More...

With Gamescom 2010 getting into full swing with news and announcements, Nintendo decided they wanted to remind its consumers that they too have games coming out this fall and that you won't want to miss them. Two games in particular were given solid release dates. Kirby's Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns were big hits at E3 this year and have been generating huge buzz for their impending arrival. While I could never get close enough to play Kirby's Epic Yarn, I did have an opportunity to play with our large, simian friend. In the tradition of Blizzard releases, today the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector's Edition was announced. Collectors of the World of Warcraft series will not be disappointed because everything Blizzard does for its fans is all here - from a full color art book to a starter deck of World of Warcraft TCG (featuring Worgen for the first time). Not long ago BioWare announced Dragon Age II with a website and more recently a good amount of information from hands-on previews and a full article in Game Informer. At the EA press conference in Cologne Germany during Gamescom, EA gave us our first look at the cinematic trailer for Dragon Age II and it is definitely worth watching. The trailer is titled "Destiny" and it is a spectacle to behold; nothing less should be expected from BioWare. Today more songs were revealed for Harmonix's Dance Central at Gamescom 2010. Currently one of the only games worth purchasing Microsoft's Kinect, Dance Central combines music, fun and dancing to create an experience unlike any other. I know that phrase is used an awful lot in this industry, but after experiencing it for myself at E3, I can definitively say I will purchase a XBox 360 and a Kinect specifically for this title. With today's announcement, the song list increases to 20. With only 30+ songs promised on the disc, you may be concerned about the depth of the roster, but with a list that now includes Rihanna's "Pon de Replay" and Technotronic's "Pump Up the Jam", I don't think you have too much to worry about. Earlier, we got to see some new screen shots for Deus Ex. Really nice shots. In fact, to me they looked like they were taken from another hi-res trailer we would be getting in the near future. Dynasty Warriors, the classic fighting game on PlayStation, based off the Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy game and one of KOEI's most successful game franchises is back. This time you will be fighting your way online in an all new free-to-play MMO. Aeria Games which has brought us past titles such as Shaiya, Kingdom Heroes, and Grand Fantasia will be bringing Dynasty Warriors Online to the fans. You know for a game that was not as widely accepted, outside of a small cult following, you would think that 505 Games and A2M would have moved on to another IP. But I guess it looks like Naughty Bear finally balled up and took them on to make his game even better. Better by adding in a whole new level, bear types, costumes and more to the story of Naughty Bear. Looks like the bears on the Island of Perfection have yet another scheme to take Naughty on with. Let's face it, everyone likes to hand out a good old shanking to someone's face every now and then.* What better way to do that than a really cool "electrified" blade from behind? Am I right? Of course I am right. All proving-myself-right aside, it looks like that is just one of the really cool looking ways you will get to take down enemies in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
