Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The video games just kept on getting pumped out and updated this week as we come to an end of a doozey of a week. One where we had the launch of Split Fiction and announcements for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 and Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss to keep us all going with the cycle. Along with a good teaser for Side Quest and a new event kicking off for Marvel Rivals, there just seemed to be no end to the things we were getting for our video games. Occultist We have some gameplay to look at for The Occultist so we can get further into the mindset of our Occultist out there In the mix of all of the fun with the recent Nacon Connect, we had a bit of The Occultist slip into the mix out there. An interesting choice, given that it is DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment behind the bulk of it all, but it is one I will gladly take as it gave us all a bit of the gameplay we can expect when the game lands in 2026 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Something a bit further beyond than just another first-person horror experience and also fitting with all of the paranormal things we have on the way. Once Upon A Puppet New gameplay for Once Upon A Puppet is out there with the developers giving us some extra behind the scenes for Once Upon A Puppet Let us all walk into a new theatrical world out there with another look at Once Upon A Puppet. This is the upcoming puzzle-platforming game that Flatter Than Earth has been working on to bring to our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PCs this coming April. Marvel Rivals A new event for Marvel Rivals is on the way and it could shake up many matches we get to experience in Marvel Rivals The fun of Marvel Rivals just keeps on flowing as we have a new event taking place later in the week to look forward to. Kicking off on March 7th and running on through the 21st, it looks like NetEase Games is dropping in a whole new mode for us to undertake as Clones are coming out. That is, the Clone Rumble is kicking off in Marvel Rivals and we will get to use so many of the same characters to do all kinds of crazy things within the game. Mortal Kombat We have a look at yet another Kameo fighter for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns to shake things up further in the Mortal Kombat universe Well, this is a bit of a twist we are getting here for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns. Not that we are getting a new Kameo fighter in the mix but that NetherRealm Studios is taking the time to highlight the character before they become fully available in the game on March 18th. A character we have seen in the Mortal Kombat 1 landscape already, but not in a fighting role specifically up to now. We are talking about Madam Bo coming in and serving up some steaming plates of pain along with a grim fatality to perform in the mix out there too. Read More...

Chernobylite Head into the world of Chernobylite 2 with the prologue of Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone out and ready for us all to experience We are getting so many demos out of the Steam Next Fest, but here we go with something a bit different for Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone. Not a true demo, but those looking to play the game right now can dig into what The Farm 51 has dropped out there with the game's prologue. A few hours of the experience that we will have for the game. All in a nice way to build us into the full Early Access for Chernobylite 2 on March 6th. Read More...

War Of The Worlds A new look at The War Of The Worlds: Siberia offers up a bit of the cutscenes we can expect in this telling for The War Of The Worlds The story for The War Of The Worlds: Siberia just keeps on expanding as we head into a different take on the original story that was told. Well, it is more a take on a different locations of the world that 1CGS is focusing on as the aliens descend on Earth in this upcoming PC title. The game is going to be an action-adventure ordeal, as is fitting for the setting of The War Of The Worlds, and now we have a look at how some of that story will play out in the game. Mortal Kombat The next Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns character is on the way soon with another Terminator shooting up the Mortal Kombat universe Yet another time travel is coming into Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns soon with the T-1000 getting the highlight for the next DLC. Yet another of the guest fighters that NetherRealm Studios was gearing up for us for a while and the payoff finally coming on March 18th for those who have the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All to give us yet another of the Terminators into the Mortal Kombat line while also paying homage to the film the character is from. KARMA Get ready for some KARMA to release soon out there with the release date for KARMA: The Dark World We finally have a release date for KARMA: The Dark World for those looking to play the game on the PS5 PC out there and do not happen to live in Japan. Apparently, there is too much blood in the game and Pollard Studio needs to censor things there a bit. For those not in Japan and looking to get KARMA: The Dark World, you can now look at March 27th for the release date. MindsEye Two new looks at MindsEye are here to show off how cinematic MindsEye as well as how the game will actually play when it launches It has been almost two years since we first heard about MindsEye with a fun little teaser. A title that looked interesting, but of course, we all had little to go on. Thankfully, during the recent State Of Play, Build A Rocket Boy and IOI Partners dropped not one, but two looks at the game. Maybe this was to make up for the two-year gap we had or something. Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid fans now have a release date to mark down for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater It feels like it has been a long time coming, but we finally have a release date for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater and it will be in 2025. It feels like this was a secret that Konami was keeping under wraps for a while now, but on August 28th, we will finally get to see how well this game has been updated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is looking more and more like a shot-for-shot remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 than any kind of reimagining of the source material, but maybe I was hoping for too much from the start. Darwin A new Darwin is on the way to us in the world with the reveal of Darwin’s Paradox! coming to us all I do not think that many out there had the reveal of a game like Darwin’s Paradox! on their list for 2025, but here we are. A new title from ZDT Studio and Konami that will be offering us all a new action-platformer title in the mix for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Currently, it is slated to be some time down the road, but that does not mean we do have anything to get excited about as of yet. Borderlands The release date for Borderlands 4 is now set with Borderlands fans getting their fill this coming September It has been a rough go for the IP as of late and many have been waiting to see how Borderlands 4 is going to shake out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We all just had no clue where the game was in the cycle as Gearbox kept on plugging away at the looter shooter. That is why it looks like we have some fun news to hand out from 2K with Borderlands 4 getting its release date set down. Directive 8020 The story for Directive 8020 has been revealed along with when we can expect to play Directive 8020 with a release date It feels like it has been forever since we had any updates for Directive 8020 out there, and now here we are with some massive ones. Almost as if Supermassive Games was in the background changing and tweaking things to add in things they have learned along the way. Hence why it looks as if we have lost the Dark Pictures part to the title so that Directive 8020 can be something to stand on its own.
