A sequel to the amazing Q.U.B.E. title has been announced and we can look to be back in the saddle with Q.U.B.E. 2 next year It's been a long time coming, but Q.U.B.E. 2 has been announced and is in development to carry the whole IP along into the next generation. That sounds like a bad 80s slogan; I know. Blade Runner While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out the Blade Runner 2049 off-site event. Here's what we experienced for Blade Runner 2049 at SDCC 2017 Given that Blade Runner 2049 will be hitting theaters soon, October 6th, it makes sense that there would be a big thing out at SDCC to show it all off and build even more hype for the film. A big thing it was too as one of the larger parking lots near the convention center was taken over by a massive tent that only displayed the film's name but held many fun things inside; that is if you were willing to wait in the extremely long lines to get in. The Evil Within 2 New details on The Evil Within 2's customization options have been given and it looks like The Evil Within 2 will play more how we all want and not on rails If you were hoping that The Evil Within 2 was going to be exactly like the last version of the game where you were directed down very specific paths to get through all of the horror out there, then you'll be glad to know that can still be an option for you. If that kind of game isn't for you, then you'll be happy too as it looks like Tango Gameworks has crafted the game with you in mind as well as it will be more open for exploration and have upgrades and crafting mixed in to give you an action-horror if that is your jam. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was totally a recovery week in video games for us over here and the industry in whole. Two of the bigger cons for the industry have now wrapped and we have a few more off in the near future and here we site continuing the coverage out of both of those major events. That's not to say that is all we have to cover for video games as we did get to see a whole lot more for Hellblade this week as we head toward the release date for that, but of course there was still a lot from Call Of Duty, Wolfenstein II, and Marvel Vs Capcom fresh out of SDCC and there is still plenty more to come. The Tick While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out The Tick Takeover off-site event. Here's what we experienced for The Tick Takeover at SDCC 2017 Out at San Diego Comic Con there was a huge push for The Tick's new live action TV series and all the bells and whistles that go with that. It makes perfect sense given the source material coming from the pages of the comics, the convention in general, and the fact that Amazon would really want to push to get as many people looking at the new show as possible. That is of course why they took over a large portion of the off-site real estate out there and set up The Tick Takeover for fans new and old to come and experience what the show would be bringing and also give us all kind of a real world video game to play in the mix. Call Of Duty The Nazi Zombies mode for Call Of Duty: WWII was fully shown off at SDCC and a whole lot of new Call Of Duty: WWII information came with it Unless you've been hiding under a rock and skipped all of the Call Of Duty: WWII news from last week, then you most likely saw the officially announcement of the Nazi Zombies mode that will be coming to the game when it launches on November 3rd. The trailer was leaked and Sledgehammer Games asked everyone to wait for the official reveal. The Wolf Among Us The second season for The Wolf Among Us has been confirmed and fans of The Wolf Among Us only had to wait four years for it Well it only took four years since the first season of The Wolf Among Us ended, but now we have a second season to look forward to. Before you try to do all of the math on that and tell me that Telltale Games brought the game out only three years ago, it sadly looks like this second season will not be out until the Summer of 2018 at the earliest. The Wolf Among Us' first season wrapped on July 8th of 2014, so the math is sound again. But enough on all of that and the sadness that will remind us all of. Read More...

Injustice 2 The first gameplay look for Injustice 2's Starfire has landed and it looks like more Injustice 2 premiere skins are on the way too Just as we all assumed, during SDCC this year we had another character for Injustice 2 shown off. Not a completely new character in terms of announcement, but we did get to finally see NetherRealm Studios' version of Starfire for the game in action and assumed to be released during August as part of the first Fighter Pack. While it would have been awesome to get solid word on the other characters coming to Injustice 2 in the coming months while out there, it is nice to see that they are working hard on bringing us what has already been announced out there. The Evil Within A new bit of gameplay for The Evil Within 2 has been released as well as the pre-order bonuses for The Evil Within 2 to help us along It looks as if all of the teasing for The Evil Within 2 has been put off and now we are going to get some solid new looks at the game as we head toward October 13th here. At least for now as it looks like Bethesda has for us a new look at the work that Tango Gameworks has done with a new gameplay trailer. Titanfall 2 A new trailer for Titanfall 2's next update has dropped to show off the new Titanfall 2 maps and modes that will be coming in just about a week We've all been waiting patiently for the next big update for Titanfall 2 and it is just about to land on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on July 25th. Not only has the wait been long, or at least seemingly so, but it looks like Respawn is going to be bringing a whole lot more to the game to keep the Million and more players out there happy. We also have our first look at the new updates for Titanfall 2 here as well so we can see the new PvE Horde mode in action as well as the two new maps that will be coming to the game when the update goes live. Not in the weird GIF video format that we had before when Bethesda was trying to show some off, but in the form of a few new screenshots that they have been dishing out there to show us the horrors that Tango Gameworks has prepared for us for October 13th when we get to dive back into this horror filled universe. Splatoon 2 The first fifteen minutes of Splatoon 2's gameplay is here to view as we head toward Splatoon 2's official release date In just over a week Splatoon 2 will be launching on the Nintendo Switch. July 21st to be completely exact and there hasn't been a whole lot of gameplay to have been enjoyed or really solid views that we've been able to capture. That is of course until now as we have the first fifteen minutes of the game to look at as Nintendo gears up for the big release of Splatoon 2. Mafia 3 The third and final DLC story for Mafia 3 is about to launch and now we have our first look at what it will bring to Mafia 3 It has been a bit of a wait but now we have the third and final bit of story DLC for Mafia 3 and it looks like it is going to be adding a lot more darkness to the already dark world that has been crafted here. It certainly looks like Hangar 13 has gone to great extents to make sure we all see how horrible the world could have been, and has been, though this game. I'll take it as it is always something I enjoy in my games and was a part of Mafia 3 that I enjoyed exploring and seeing. Read More...
