Life Is Strange 2 Is Teasing Some Changes For Us To Enjoy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange A new teaser trailer for Life Is Strange 2 is here to show us a few of the other changes we may expect when Life Is Strange 2 launches in September After the nice little "demo" for Life Is Strange 2 that we kind of had with Captain Spirit, it looks as if DontNod is back and teasing some other new things coming to the game and IP when it launches on September 27th. It is no secret that the game is taking place in a new location and with some new characters but staying grounded in the universe that was created already. This we all knew, hopefully. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Guacamelee The release date for Guacamelee 2 has now been set and fans of the Guacamelee titles will be able to play the game this coming August It has been a long time coming, but now we have the release date for Guacamelee 2 set down and surprisingly not too far off from now. If you thought that Drinkbox Studios was going to make us all wait a crazy long time for the game, then you are wrong as it looks like it will be hitting the PS4 and PC on August 21st now. That is not too far. Sadly, it looks like there is not a solid date for any of those Xbox One gamers out there who wanted to get their Guacamelee 2 play on. Read More...

by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 18th of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Nintendo The Nintendo lounge is back at SDCC and many of your favorite Nintendo properties will be out there to play and relax with One of the staples of SDCC that I have always enjoyed has been the Nintendo lounge and it looks like it is going to be back again this year. Back again and setting up shop at the Marriott Marquis & Marina down in San Diego for fans to come out and try some of their new and old games they have out there. Super Smash Bros. and Pokémon being the big ones as usual, but there will be many others in the realm of Super Mario and the like. Read More...

Also, it looks like Street Fighter will have its presence out at the event but not in a gameplay demo kind of way. Read More...

Square Enix Is Bringing All Kinds Of Tomb Raider & Kingdom Hearts Fun To SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Square Enix Not to be left out of SDCC, Square Enix is bringing all kinds of games and events to make sure you have been able to experience all Square Enix has to offer Just as the many year's past, Square Enix will be back at SDCC this year and bringing with them all of the games that we have been keeping an eye on and hoping to play sooner rather than later. Sadly, it does not look like they are bringing much in the way of Final Fantasy, but they are truly pushing Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts III just as they did out at E3. Not the biggest of surprises given the proximity to the release dates and SDCC being a huge fan event for Square Enix to get the games in front of more eyes than just through other people's thoughts and opinions. Life Is Strange The release date for Life Is Strange 2’s first episode has been set and we will be playing more than a demo for Life Is Strange 2 soon While we all may be playing the demo for Captain Spirit right now, we may have also missed that Life Is Strange 2 is heavily linked to it in some way and now we know that it will not be a huge wait to see how that is. That is, DontNod has not only released the new title there but also set down a firm release date for the first episode of the core game to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has been another great week and there has been a lot of video games to go over since E3 2018 ended. We still have even more that we have to talk about and bring to you next week, so hopefully you are not tired of it all just yet. How could you be with the great look at Cyberpunk 2077 we all had, the expansion of news for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, and a deeper look at Overkill’s The Walking Dead. Of course, not to discount the other video games out there like Mutant Year Zero and such. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Dying Light 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light While at E3, I was able to see Dying Light 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Dying Light 2. How Dying Light 2 was kept under wraps so well before E3 this year is beyond me but I am glad for the great little surprise it was when the announcement hit us all. It was a game that we all were fairly certain that Techland was working on and then we all were able to see it in full action. Especially being part of the original Dying Light community that is still hunting down things in the game and experience everything that there is to play in the game. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Cyberpunk 2077
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 While at E3, I was able to see Cyberpunk 2077 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Cyberpunk 2077. After a nice five year gap of silence, we were all finally treated to our first look at Cyberpunk 2077 and where the game currently stands in the development cycle. Some out there were able to see the nice new trailer that CD Projekt RED put together to be shown. Others, like myself, were treated to a behind closed doors showing of Cyberpunk 2077 that featured a whole lot of gameplay. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Hitman 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman While at E3, I was able to see Hitman 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Hitman 2. We all knew it was coming and then it was secured when Hitman 2 received the official announcement just before E3 this year. Given how well the last one was received and still is played today, it would have been a bad move on IO Interactive to not follow it up with another great addition to the franchise and continue the story that sucked us in recently. They may have moved over to Warner Bros. to get the game out there, but that is not a bad thing at all as they also had Hitman 2 on the floor to play and see just where the game has progressed to. Jack In With A New Look At Cyberpunk 2077 From E3 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk The first real look at Cyberpunk 2077 is here out of E3 2018 and it gives us all the fun we should expect for a Cyberpunk game The moment most of us have been waiting for has come as we now have something solid to look at for Cyberpunk 2077 other than teaser images and concept art. We have had so little to see for this game and yet CD Projekt RED has had us all so hyped up for the game since it was first mentioned they were working on it. It could have been because it was something new that few have actually taken on or it could have been them still riding on the hype of their last few titles that have impressed us all. Nonetheless, we now have something to see for Cyberpunk 2077 that also looks to be done in-engine and not just a CG trailer. Read More...

Resident Evil 2 Is Remade And Hitting Us This Coming January
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The remake of Resident Evil 2 has something to look at and it comes with an official release date for Resident Evil 2 as well It has been so long since we first heard word that Resident Evil 2 was getting remade and we have seen so much for the franchise since then. If memory serves, it was back in 2015 that we first heard from Capcom that they were looking to remake one of their strongest games in the franchise and fans have been left wanting since. That is if you forget that they put out Resident Evil 7 and a whole bunch of DLC and other smaller titles in the process. Some just HD upgrades and such, but still something in the franchise as we wait for RE2 to be remade and brought to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...
