Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Is Making A Run Towards The Switch 2 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of March 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Kena The Switch 2 will soon get a taste of Kena, as the original Kena: Bridge Of Spirits will be landing on the console this Spring It looks like our spirit guide will be showing off the adventure on yet another platform out there, as the announcement that Kena: Bridge Of Spirits will be coming to the Switch 2 is here. This is the original title that Ember Lab made years ago, and not the new one that was announced not too long ago, just before any of you get excited that the sequel is going to have a wider release than we thought. It most likely will, but for now, we can see that the original journey that Kena went on will be available for all. Read More...

007 First Light Puts The Cast On Display In A New Developer Diary
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 4th of March 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
007 First Light The next developer diary for 007 First Light is out there to give us a better look at the voices & actors bringing 007 First Light to life The cast of characters for 007 First Light have been flowing out there slowly with some big names many know, and some many might not know as of yet. Of course, up to now, the focus from IO Interactive has been on the bigger names like Lennie James and Lenny Kravitz. Weird it's been two Lennys… But now we are back with the next big developer diary for 007 First Light to see the rest of the cast, get to know some of the characters, and see some of the process that brought them all to light. A New Stroll Is On The Way To The Switch 2 With The Midnight Walk
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 3rd of March 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
The Midnight Walk A Switch 2 release for The Midnight Walk is on the way to allow many more gamers the chance to play The Midnight Walk It's been on other consoles, and then it hit the VR space, and now The Midnight Walk is on the way to the Switch 2. The claymation title that MoonHood put together for us last year, is on the way so more can play it with Fast Travel Games getting it all ready to land again. Back in a 2D screen space, but also able to hop from the big screen to the small screen for easy movement. I guess that works out well for a title called The Midnight Walk that we will be able to also take it for a walk at midnight if we so want to. Read More...

Directive 8020 Offers A Better Look At The Character Played By Lashana Lynch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of March 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 Meet the pilot we will follow in Directive 8020 with a new look at the character and interview with the performer bringing them to life in Directive 8020 It feels like with each new video we get for Directive 8020, we get to know more about the characters and the world. Even before Supermassive Games had to delay the release of it until May 12th. Given that it might have been a while since we first met Brianna Young, the pilot of the spaceship we will be surviving in, it might be time to get to know the character again. Who better to give us all of that information than the person who is bringing the character to life in Directive 8020? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/23/26 — 2/27/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 28th of February 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to wrap up a fun little week we had here with all of the video games we had to look at. There were a lot of heavy hitters that had some updates, along with Resident Evil Requiem launching out there into the world. That would be some of the bigger news, but we have a release date for Marvel’s Wolverine to look at, that announcement of Stage Tour, and 007 First Light offering up another member of the cast for us to look at. Not to mention, so many smaller video games had some highlights as we head into the next month, and all that will bring us. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Launches Into The World With A Few Extra Titles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The horrors of Resident Evil have launched so much out there beyond just Resident Evil Requiem as of now The day is here, and Resident Evil Requiem has landed on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC out there. This title has been so anticipated, I am sure that many of you do not need the reminder that it is launching out there, but Capcom is giving it to us all just to be sure. A nice and little reminder that it is out there and the new horrors are ready for us all. That is not all, though, as there is more to the Resident Evil world out there today, and I think that needs a bit more reminding since it also dropped out there today. Read More...

007 First Light Gives Us An Extended Look At Bawma Leading The Markets
by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 26th of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
007 First Light A new look at 007 First Light gives us another famous face to look at and help sell us all on 007 First Light We have more of the stunt casting coming in here for 007 First Light, as we have a new look at Bawma, who will be played by Lenny Kravitz when it launches. This is something we have heard and seen in the past from IO Interactive, but we have a new, extended look at the character and just what he will bring into the world of 007 First Light. Along with that, we have a little bit of the performance we can see in the game, so we might be able to make sure it is more than just a face and voice having us pick things up on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC when May 27th comes around. That is the hope when we have big names and likenesses forced to be the hype for a game. Read More...

Directive 8020 Filters Out More Of The Deluxe Edition Extras We Will Get
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 Directive 8020 will be getting some gameplay filters to play with, along with a few more extras in the Deluxe Edition of Directive 8020 If you were looking for more reasons to pick up the Deluxe Edition of Directive 8020 when it lands on May 12th, then you are little more in luck. It seems as if Supermassive Games is still slow-rolling out all of those updates to us, and now we have some extra gameplay filters we will be able to experience the whole game with. I am never quite sure why these are big things for gamers, but if you need to see the full experience of Directive 8020 in a classic VHS mode while running the game on your PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, then there will be an option for just that. Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition Opens Another Vault On The Switch 2
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 24th of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Fallout More Fallout is out there with the launch of the Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition on the Switch 2 The fun of the end of the world just keeps on coming, with the launch of the Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition on the Switch 2. It feels like Bethesda missed the mark only slightly with this release and the hype around the show out there, but that does not change the fact that we can now play the title on all of the platforms out there. This one gives the Switch 2 gamers the full experience right up front with all of the DLC and other updates that came to Fallout 4 over time. Even if it is a little late to the party, it is still a solid way for new and old fans to get fully immersed in the universe. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 23rd of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
People Of Note The release date for People Of Note is now set, and we will be taking center stage much sooner than expected with People Of Note The beats are building up, as we are about to have the drop for People Of Note. That is, we have the release date now set for when this turn-based action title from Iridium Studios will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A release date that Annapurna has not set too far out, but one that will allow the beats to build up a bit more with a demo and give us a little more time to learn about the game. All that said, People Of Note will be blasting us with new notes on April 7th if you are ready to take all of that in. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/17/26 — 2/20/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of February 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That puts another week in the bag around here, and one where we made it mostly through the week with so many video games in tow. Even if it did seem as if we had a few rough weeks in the past, we were back with Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill: Townfall, and a new John Wick Game to talk about to catch us all back up. That only scratches the surface of the video games we had to talk about this week, since we also had to play catch-up with Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 and 007 First Light after having so many things drop out there in the mix. Even though we had a slowdown, it feels like we are back up to speed. Read More...

The Infect’Edition Has Launched For The House Of The Dead 2: Remake
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 20th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead Head back into the House Of The Dead again, with the launch of The House Of The Dead 2: Remake Infect’Edition The doors have opened up further for those looking to have the next bit of fun with The House Of The Dead 2: Remake. The Infect’Edition has finally made it out there for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to give us all more to shoot and survive. Not to mention, it gives us more to experience with what Megapixel Studio has been working on to bring this fun IP out of the old arcades and into our homes again. I know I've lost so many quarters to the classic versions of The House Of The Dead, and now I can just drop one lump sum and make it all the way through the story as I so see fit. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Mouse Get ready for a boss fight in Mouse: P.I. For Hire, as we have a tease of who our Mouse will be fighting out there It is time to take aim at one of the bosses we are going to face off with in Mouse: P.I. For Hire. Well, more see how the fight could go down, as Fumi Games still has some time to perfect things before the March 19th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC for the game. Even if it does look as if this fight is good to go and will give us a bit of what we would expect in a shooter like Mouse: P.I. Read More...

The Dark Pictures Are Seeping Even Further Into The Horror Of Directive 8020
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 New pre-order bonuses for Directive 8020 are out there, along with an official release date for Directive 8020 It looks like we have a lot more fun for Directive 8020 on the way to us all if we are opting to pre-order the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. Well, fun might not be the best word to use there, unless you are huge on modding your character's fits and looks long the way. It seems that Supermassive Games has some new things in the mix that link us right back into The Dark Pictures if we so choose to throw down the money for Directive 8020 before May 12th. Oh yeah, that is now the official release date for the game, after all the delays and pushes we have had to endure up until now. Read More...
