Exclusive Saw The Video Game Update So over a month ago, I reported on a game adaptation of the Film Saw. I was really excited, but reports are coming in that it was just given the cut, pardon the pun, much like 20 people from Brash Entertainment. Saw Game By Halloween 2009 So as most of you are aware of, there is a film series called Saw. They are up to number V (that's 5 in Roman Numerals) now. With more in the works. But that isn't the big news here seeing as this is a gaming site. So why am I wasting your time writing this. Well filler right now. But more importantly, and game related, the people who brought you the Saw films have released a Press Release stating that they will have a game out by the time the Sixth movie hits the big screen. DirectTV's new host for Blizzcon 08! - Becky 'Aktrez' Young! If you were not able to snag up a Blizzcon ticket in the first go around, you were most likely sad. Then there came the second boost of tickets that flooded the market and got snagged up in mere minutes. So I bet you were sad again. Then Blizzard responded with, "Well if you can't be there in person, then we will televise it for you, for a small fee." So then you could be a bit happier. God Of War III And It's 120 Page Dialog Script This was kind of a cool and fun read to find on Gamasutra's site. Partly because it is all about one of my favorite games and anticipated game of '09. God of War III just to be clear on that. Most of the article is about how they are going to the voice acting for the game, and it is a pretty interesting and an industry first. MTV's official Rock Band 2 show!!! (Los Angeles) So, this is still rumor and has been posted only in a few places online as of late, but looking at the ad, it is most likely not a real one. But I thought I would post this due to the comic value of the concept and idea behind it. Why do I think it is a false one, because they ask you to email a GMail account instead of an official MTV account. Just me huh. Mark Wahlberg has never played Max Payne

Mark Wahlberg, the guy playing Max Payne in the up coming movie has said in a recent interview that he has never actually played Max Payne before. "I got more responsibility now than I've ever had with the kids and everything else. I don't want to be spending 14 hours on the videogame and then eight hours on the set. It's not going to work out." I think that if you're going to be playing a character you should at least play the game first to get a feel for the character. Read More...

Degenerating From Comic Con

New RE:D Trailer So this was one of the coolest things I got to see while at Comic-Con this year. It is quite a bit more of the new Resident Evil movie that they are doing. Unfortunately, it is a "Pirated" video that someone took. I was actually sitting not to far from the camera guy here. I've tried listening for my WOOO when Leon first comes on screen, but I get blended in. A little bit that they don't show in the clip but was revealed at the panel was that this is kind of a continuation of the 4th game. Reality Video Game?

American Ninja Warriors Sought While not exactly a bit of gaming news. But I thought it would be fun to bring it up for anyone on here that missed this. On top of that, when you look at Ninja Warrior, it is a weird kind of Real Life Video Game. I mean it is a mix of Assassin's Creed and Tenchu. And it is hosted by G4 so that could give another merit to gaming and pwnage Looks like G4 is looking to get three people to send off to compete on the Ninja Warrior challenge. If you haven't seen the show, it is where 100 people start out running an obstacle course that test the human body to no end. Spyro movie pwning theatres near you!

Variety says Spyro movie is in the works. If you didn't know, the Spyro franchise is having a new game roll out for it's Decaversay. That's 10th for those who don't get me here. It looks like it could be pretty decent if they continue on the path there are on now. Good news for any of you out there that loved the game and wished for another.
