Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have finally recouped a bit from the epic week of SDCC and had a lot to catch up on the video games front. Not only from the event but also from all the stuff that fell through the cracks due to the team being on the ground. Borderlands A new trailer for Borderlands 3 is here to show much of nothing outside of the fun of killing together as always in Borderlands The tease we have had for Borderlands 3 is over as the new trailer is here as promised by Gearbox. A new trailer fresh off the heels of E3 and just a day before SDCC kicks off and… it is just more of a tease. Not in the way of something we will be seeing in the near future, outside of the game, but it is more or less a showing of the fun we can have in Borderlands 3 when playing with friends. September 13th will have us all doing that, sure, but I am going to guess it is not going to look as fun as it all does here. Read More...

That is as at least based off the new videos that Gearbox is placing out there to help promote the game and give us all something to watch as we wait for September 13th to finally come and we can play on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Silver Chains A new trailer for Silver Chains is here with a bit more gameplay and all of the weirdness Silver Chains looks to hold within It is time to start preparing your minds for Silver Chains as August 6th is quickly approaching and we have our own sanity to keep in mind. That is, at least, the threat we all have to worry about from Cracked Heads Games in terms of their new title they are bringing to us. It has looked a bit dark in the past video we have seen for Silver Chains and it continues again today. Borderlands While at E3, I was able to see Borderlands 3 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Borderlands 3. One of the games out at E3 that always seemed to have the longest line to play had to be Borderlands 3. It makes total sense given the huge following and fandom of the franchise and also how quickly since the official announcement to launch Gearbox has brought the game. September 13th is not that far off and there is still so much to show for Borderlands 3 before we all get to play it on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One. It is a good thing that they had the game on display and playable out at E3 as it gave me a chance to actually try it out instead of just looking at fancy trailers. Read More...

Maneater While at E3, I was able to see Maneater in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Maneater. A title that made a huge splash, pun intended, back at E3 2018 had to be Maneater. That would be the ShaRkPG title that we were introduced to from Blindside Interactive and Tripwire Interactive during the main PC Gaming show at the start of the event. Originally, it looked to be like a joke title that was going to build into something different to me, but here we are back again and we can see that it has become much more. Well, at least some of us who were lucky enough to see solid gameplay for Maneater during this year's E3 and not just the fun little trailer we were all given when it was highlighted again. Sure, we have seen some of it all in the past during the short trailers Hardsuit Labs has released out there, but now we have some true gameplay to take in. Before you scoff, this is more than the little bit that was shown during the PC Gaming event out at E3, but a nice and longer look at Bloodlines 2 with a bit of a mission or quest in the game. Bloodlines 2 The final core clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is announced with the Malkavians spreading their chaos in Bloodlines 2 The fifth and final full clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is announced and it looks like we are all going to be mad. Not in the angry sense of the term but in the insane version of the term as Hardsuit Labs is going with the Malkavian clan as the other option we can have. At least in the core version of Bloodlines 2 with the other clans a possibility via free updates. Something I am hoping will actually happen as my true favorite ones do not seem to be in the core game, but at least we have the Malkavians mixed in now. Read More...

At the launch and a few hours into the game as Hardsuit Labs is set on making us Thinblood from the start to go along with the narrative of the game. Bloodlines 2 The next clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here and brings blood magic with them into the darkness of Bloodlines 2 In a bit of a surprise turn for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, it looks like the team is bringing one of the harder clans into the game in the way of the Tremere. At least if you look at how they are treated in the tabletop version of the game and not specifically what Hardsuit Labs is doing here. For those that are not fully up to speed, they are blood sorcerers that can do damned near anything and also have one of the weakest (to implement in a video game) curse. Read More...
