The first trailer for Powers, the PSN TV adaption of the comic book, was shown at NYCC and we have it here for you Powers, the show, was announced at E3 during Sony's huge press event and it was received with mixed feelings from all. If you were lucky enough to be at NYCC over the weekend and were able to sit in on Sony's panel you may have been treated to seeing the first footage and trailer for the show. There have been a few stills floating around as of late but the trailer shows just how Powers is going to run for all of those PlayStation Plus subscribers out there. Well at least free for the PS+ people and an assumed small fee for everyone else. Read More...

Pun intended if you can find one there. Read More...

Have a good look at the lowlands of Kyrat from Far Cry 4 as well as a new 'music video' for the game from Childish Gambino There is going to be a lot to explore in Far Cry 4 so it looks like it is time to start digging into all of that. At least that is what Ubisoft and Red Storm seem to be thinking as we are getting a multipart series of videos and gameplay trailers to show off the different areas and zones that we will be travelling through in Far Cry 4. Seeing as the game's world is slated to be one of the most expansive in the franchise to date it sounds like a good thing to walk us all through. If for nothing more than giving us some more of that sweet in-game footage. Read More...

The final behind the scenes video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been released from Gearbox and 2K Games to show off all the weapons and beyond for the game We are on the verge of the release for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and it is time to wrap up this whole behind the scenes look at how and why Gearbox and 2K are making the game. With that we also get a nice look at the design and ideas behind all of the weapons we have grown to love in Borderlands and Borderlands 2 as well as what we are to expect in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Yes they've gone over the new weapon types and everything umpteen times before but this time it is more the look and feel instead of the actual effects and damage numbers that get output to the screen. We Sit Down And Review Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. It's time to take Disney's new Marvel acquisition for a ride in the toy box franchise The next major update for Disney Infinity has come and now we have Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes to look forward to as the Marvel IPs get added into the toy box universe that has been slowly building steam in the collectible toy video game genre that has been booming for the kiddies. In the mix of Marvel's popularity it makes perfect sense for Disney and Avalanche Software to capitalize. The big question though is does Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes succeed at giving us all a fun adventure or just turn into an extremely expensive game to keep the wallets with pigtails dropping cash. A new developer diary for Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris has been released from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix to better explain the game If you are still upset that Rise Of The Tomb Raider will only be hitting one console next year then let's have a good look at Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris as that is supposed to be the alternative set up for PS4 and PC players in the interim. While not exclusive to those platforms, Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris is coming to Xbox One too, it is something for all non-Xbox players to dig into and help fund other versions of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. I'm still not sure how that makes any economical bonuses but it is something that we are all going to have to live with. Read More...

A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX has been released to help everyone get up to speed on the story before December Time is running out for all of you who want to be caught up on the story before Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX launches. That is saying that you already haven't beaten the games before all of the other "remixes" and "HD" versions of the franchise that have been flooding the market as of late. You've only had twelve years, three console releases, and multiple handheld devices to get completely up to speed. Maybe that isn't enough for us all to know what happened before the portion of the story we are getting in Kingdom Hearts HD 2. Read More...

Gameplay footage of an early build of Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing the visuals of max setting on PC There has been little concern up until now that Dragon Age: Inquisition was going to look amazing as well as play amazing. If you had concerns after watching any of the past gameplay videos then maybe the following one will put your concerns to rest as it looks like BioWare and EA have taken great care to make sure we have the best game coming to us. At least it is an assurance for those fans of Dragon Age as a franchise and are looking forward to Dragon Age: Inquisition in the coming month. If all is to be believed here, the creator of this video was invited to EA to play and early/alpha build of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Read More...

A new game called The Black Glove is in the works from ex-Irrational Games developers, Day For Night Games, and they need you help to get the game finished Back when Irrational Games was winding down and people were losing jobs over there, there was a big question as to what was going to become of some of the people who didn't move along with Ken Levine. There is still not much know except that a small group from said team have now banded together to bring us The Black Glove. The team in question here is called Day For Night Games and it comprises mostly of those who were responsible for BioShock Infinite, that game's DLC, and the original BioShock. Read More...

There is a new tech demo that shows off an augmented reality system in the works call RoomAlive from Microsoft I remember not that long ago that Microsoft was using the Kinect to create a form of Augmented Reality in our living rooms. The project was called IllumiRoom for those who don't remember or have a strong Google-Fu. The idea behind it would be that by using the Kinect and a video projector you could expand out the screen of your game to add an extra level of immersion. The Kinect would 'scan' the area to get a digital mapping of your play space so that the projector could properly display no matter the contours or set up of anyone's living room or gaming space. A new video for The Evil Within has been released showing off the haunted and other enemies of the game and the best way to handle them We've seen how we need to make every last bullet count in The Evil Within so now it is time for us to see why that will be the case. That is we get a good look at the Haunted and the Keeper that will be plaguing us as we try to unravel the mysteries of what is going on in Sebastian's world here… Or head… Or whatever is going on in The Evil Within. I'm still not clear as to what Shinji Mikami has in store for all of us with the game but I know I can't wait to dig into The Evil Within here on October 14th. For all of you out there who want a little more substance to the gameplay of The Evil Within do know that there is a bit in there for you as well. Read More...
