A new The Order 1886 trailer has been released and it shows off how the werewolf plague may have started in London We have a new trailer of sorts for The Order 1886 from Ready At Dawn. Well more or those marketing kind of trailers as there is no definition of if this is just a cool and creepy little promo for The Order 1886 or if we are getting a glimpse at the character in the story who may grow up to be the main antagonist. This character being names Little Bobby Paige if you have yet to catch on from the title and looking down at the video just a few inches down. Like I said though, there still is no word on if Bobby is just there to remind us The Order 1886 launches on the PS4 next month or if we are getting story. Read More...

The latest trailer for Volume has been released and it shows off the enemies we will be facing in the game Volume was teased and received its first gameplay trailer mid-last year. This is the latest title coming from the studio that brought us Thomas Was Alone and is a modern day-ish stealth telling of a Robin Hood story. Except that unlike other stealth games Volume wants you to be heard during the gameplay. Heard so that the enemies can come and hunt you down and most likely to make it easier to sneak by them all. Turtle Rock Studios have released the PC specs for Evolve so you can be sure it looks amazing next month Hopefully you were able to get in on the latest Evolve beta over the weekend and have helped 2K and Turtle Rock make sure that their servers are going to handle the massive amounts of traffic on February 10th. If you were not then that sucks and my condolences. If you were able to get the hook up for the PC version of the beta then hopefully it has looked rather decent for you. Read More...

It's been announced that there is a new Friday The 13th title in the works from Crystal Lake Entertainment and an un-named developer Good news for us horror fans, maybe, as there is a new Friday The 13th video game in the works. This is to go hand in hand with the new TV show and film but hopefully will not be solely a tie-in for the franchise. Details are still sparse on it all since the news dropper "exclusively" on EGM Now but that does not mean we don't have at least the basics as we wait for the anything visual for this new Friday The 13th game. It's been over 25 years now since Jason graced our video games so it is high time and Crystal Lake Entertainment thinks they need to get piece of the gaming pie again. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Here we go for the end of another week in video games. While not everything here was directly for the software side of things we did have some great highlights for the hardware side and then a bit of software. I blame CES bringing us so many cool things to play our video games with. Could you imaging Resident Evil running with the Oculus Rift or Morpheus. Or maybe allow all of us who are not parkour masters to run through Dying Light and give us all a feel of the action. Read More...

Ampisound made a cool POV parkour run for Dying Light to show how the daily grind could look in the real world With Dying Light just a few weeks from launch, I swear I use that phrase too often, we should be ready for more of those PR and Marketing campaigns to pump us up about the release here. Just as to be expected with any free-running or parkour title we have another group, Ampisound, producing a real life run of Dying Light in POV perspective. This would be the same group that have done the Mirror's Edge videos but not the Assassin's Creed videos. Hopefully that sorts out things for those confused on who would be running in this Dying Light promo. Read More...

We have some official screenshots and details for that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain chicken hat that was all the rage Back around Christmas the hopefuls for a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date were trolled and shown a new hat that can be used in the game. The chicken hat for those who don't want to go back and read. Some though this was still a joke that Hideo Kojima was running on everyone but it looks like Konami and Kojima Productions have confirmed the hat more so by giving us all some nice new screenshots and a better description of how the hat will be used once we actually get the game. Hopefully this year some time but that is still a great mystery to be solved for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and that may take a lot longer than solving P. Read More...

Rebellion has announced that a Zombie Army Trilogy will be coming for the PS4 and Xbox One with additions for those PC adopters Rebellion has announced today that we will be getting the Zombie Army Trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox One sometime this year. These would be a collection of HD remastered version of the Sniper Elite post-apocalyptic spin-offs titled Zombie Army. Most would know that the first two titles were already available for the XBLA, PSN, and Steam. For those who are just finding out about it or playing on their PCs then the extra bonus is the previously unreleased third title being added in. Read More...

The Evolve intro cinematic has been released online to get all those hunters read for the next big beta on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC In only a few more days we will all be helping Turtle Rock and 2K test out those servers for Evolve. Hopefully you were in on the Big Alpha so you had a nice easy time getting set up for the next beta for the Xbox One or the server stress test for the PS4 and PC. If not good luck and keep an eye out for a whole bunch of new gameplay to be hitting after the beta is over as we are now moving closer to the launch of Evolve. With that close at hand we not only do we get those aforementioned beta/stress tests but a nice new video for those who are not going to be able to take part in the fun. Read More...

Looks like one of the pre-order bonuses for Batman: Arkham Knight might have spoiled the game's ending on accident If you don't want any bit of Batman: Arkham Knight spoiled for you then you might want to stop reading. Who am I kidding though? You already clicked in with the given title so you are ready to find out how Batman: Arkham Knight's story and conclusion may have been spoiled almost half a year before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The worst part behind it, if it is true then it isn't any crazy slip by Rocksteady or Warner Bros. but via the Limited Edition bundle of the game and Amazon having amazing images for the bundle. The Nyko Data Bank was shown off at CES 2015 and adds an extra option to the internal storage for the PS4 in the way of 3.5" Drive If you've thought that only 500GB for your PS4 was a bit on the low side then you may want to keep your eye out for the Nyko Data Bank sometime later this year. The Nyko Data Bank, pictured below, is a nice little add-on for the PS4 that will allow you to swap out the system's hard drive for a 3.5" drive as opposed to the 2.5" that we are currently stuck with. LyteShot, a new gaming platform, was shown off at CES 2015 and has had its Kickstarter campaign kicked off This may be the first time you've heard of LyteShot but I've heard a few things and had the pleasure of seeing things up close and personal at CES here this week. Nothing in action outside of the below Kickstarter video for the gaming platform but if you can use your imagination, as the platform wants, then you can see how this could be the next great addition to gaming; both video and physical. If you follow along here you may get to understand and have a hand in bringing the whole thing to light. Pun intended. Read More...

The latest Game Informer has a spotlight on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and includes multiplayer and a bit of the game's story I thought we would have had to wait a bit longer for some Uncharted 4: A Thief's End news given the huge showing at the PlayStation Experience a month ago. Luckily for all of us who want more for Nathan Drake the February 2015 edition of Game Informer has given the PS4 title a cover story and filled its pages with news on what we've already seen as well as a few things about the story and multiplayer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. All the stuff that we could have wanted to find out from Naughty Dog before the most likely huge E3 showcasing we will have for this huge IP. Yes, I did say multiplayer for Uncharted 4. Read More...

Shigeru Miyamoto stated in a recent interview with Smosh Games that Star Fox for the Wii U could have a playable demo at E3 2015 If you are a Star Fox and also on the list for going to E3 this year then you may be able to line up and play the game. At least if you are lucky enough to get in and willing to sit in the crazy long line that is going to inevitably be plaguing the Nintendo booth given the latest little tidbit revealed on Smosh Games. That being from Shigeru Miyamoto responding from the age old question of "when will we get to play [insert game]?" The game in question if you've been following along is of course Star Fox for the Wii U. Read More...
