In a recent interview for Prey it was revealed that Prey could end up being a new horror game based on how the AI works with its abilities Up to now Prey has been generally shown off as a nice action filled space adventure, of sorts, but since a recent interview on how some of the creatures react in the game it looks like Arkane Studios may have also made a horror game in the mix. At least if the AI of the game has anything to say about it as it looks like those Mimics in the game are not going to be scripted events but all how the game will react at will. That's right, Prey's little beasts will create random jump scares and tense situations just by doing what they do in general. Read More...

We were able to sit down and give Friday The 13th: The Game a run for its money in the latest beta. Here's our thought on where Friday The 13th currently is The beta for Friday The 13th: The Game has come and it has gone. A lot of gamers out there had a chance to check out the game that they helped pay Gun Media and Illfonic to build for them and in cases like ours, we also had a chance to share some of the gameplay from the beta for you all. Of course this is all based on the PC version of the game and this isn't like other betas that we all hear about before a game launches. No, Friday The 13th: The Game is still actively in development so please keep that all in mind when reading through this and/or watching the attached gameplay. Read More...

It has just been announced that Robinson: The Journey will be making the jump from PSVR to Oculus so more can enjoy Robinson: The Journey out there Maybe you've had a chance to give Robinson: The Journey a try out when it hit the PS VR system or you were one of the gamers who were hoping for it to leap from the PS4 to another platform. While it originally looked like Crytek was going to make us all wait and only have the chance to experience it all in one place. Well now it looks like the best part of game development has stuck again as Robinson: The Journey will be expanding to the PC and be available on the Oculus Rift sometime in January of Next year. The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been gifted to us and we get to see just how Hellblade's Senua came into being Life is always full of interesting twists and it looks like the development of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is also another shining example of just that. At least that is the takeaway from the most recent developer diary Ninja Theory has given us all just before taking a well-deserved break for the end of the year. While it may not have much in terms of the gameplay for Hellblade, it is filled with an awesome story on just how we ended up with a version of Senua in the game that may have never been had it not been for some of those aforementioned twists spoken of earlier. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site It sure has been one cray week here for all of our video games; not like this isn't almost always the case. Generally this is when it all slows down and everyone is grasping for something to bring you. Hells, I've seen short tweets make headline news around the web during this time and we've tried to not dig into all of that. Instead we just dug in and were still able to find some great updates for Resident Evil and Watch Dogs 2 for you. Read More...

Some new, possible, details for Resident Evil 7 may have emerged out of the most recent Resident Evil 7 demo to hit the PC Some new details for Resident Evil 7 may have just been found hidden the most recent PC demo that released earlier this week and some of it all points to some solid story tidbits, possible DLC, and who we might see as a final boss in the game. Of course none of this is confirmed by Capcom as it still falls into that whole rumor category but if it is true it could mean that we will see how it fits into the overall Resident Evil world. That and Resident Evil 7 would be getting a card game and a whole chapter of the game based around just puzzles and horror instead of all of the other stuff that we will see get mixed in. A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2's version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos It's been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Especially since the recent PSX or The Game Awards would have been a perfect place for NetherRealm Studios to show off some new and old characters coming to the game. Sadly none of that was the case and we've been left wanting for more Injustice 2 to enjoy. Read More...

A new episode for King's Quest has been released for all who happened to own the full season of King's Quest with very little notice given at all Here we go with yet another odd holiday gift, and seemingly out of nowhere, but a new episode of King's Quest has been released this week to those who have been playing close attention to the title the whole time. It looks like The Odd Gentlemen have given us one more episode in terms of an epilogue to the whole story and did so with nothing more than a mere tweet out there. Seems kind of strange to not boast this in any other form, especially given how Sierra Entertainment has been with King's Quest since they first brought it out so long ago, but none the less we have it and it is currently out there to download and hopefully enjoy. A new trailer for Resident Evil: Vendetta has been released and it looks like Resident Evil: Vendetta may be coming to theaters on May 27th of next year Just what we all needed right before this festive time of year, a new Resident Evil: Vendetta trailer to shock and awe all of us into hoping it releases in more than just the Japanese market. Yes, we have here yet another new trailer for the CG film just to show us what Capcom and crew have been doing when not working on the upcoming Resident Evil 7. Not that they were sitting back on their laurels or anything but it is always nice to see that we are getting more to this great horror franchise. Read More...

Another batch of free DLC has come to Mafia 3 and this time it adds in a few more outfits into Mafia 3 as well as car customization and racing More DLC is here for Mafia 3 and this time it looks like 2K Games is bringing something that fans have been asking for since the game's first launch back in October; racing. That's right, Hangar 13 has put together all of their heads and brought us a new racing mode for Mafia 3 as well as some car customization in the mix for making those races more fun and more exciting. That and there is also a nice, new, shiny car to win if you can make it through all of the races as the winner. Read More...

The first DLC pack for Watch Dogs 2 is out, at least for the PS4, and we can see what will be coming to Watch Dogs 2 in it and in the near future for others I hope you are still ready for more Watch Dogs 2 as it looks like we are getting our first bit of DLC for the game and if you are playing on the PS4 version then you can have it as of right now. The Xbox One and PC crowd are going to have to wait until January 24th to get their hands on it and it that shouldn't come as any surprise as Ubisoft has been pretty forthcoming about their timed DLC partnership for the PS4 version. We can all wish that Watch Dogs 2 was an equal opportunity platform supporter but as the cash flows it is just not the case. Read More...

A new trailer for Vampyr has been released and it lets us have a look at Vampyr's story in a way that shows how the world is always changing with our actions It seems like it is a bit out of place given the time right now, but none the less, we have a new trailer for Vampyr to gaze upon. This of course being the most recent title that Dontnod is cooking up for us. You know, the vampire one that takes place during the Spanish Flu epidemic. The one where we are a doctor during those times who has also been just recently turned Vampyr. Read More...

We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — City Of Light. This is the fifth episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did Here we go, and just before the holidays, but Batman: The Telltale Series' first season has come to a close and all of the mixed up lore that has been presented to us has all come to a head. It has been one interesting ride with Telltale Games' take on the beginning of the franchise and it has even brought us a few new bits of gameplay mechanics to go along with an epic story we've never really heard before. So far we've been rather impressed with Batman: The Telltale Series but now that the final episode is here, it is time to see if it is wrapped up nicely for us to want to look forward to another season or just something that should be left to rot in Arkham. The first batch of DLC for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been showcased and it looks to bring Call Of Duty four more maps & new way to play Zombies Here we go with the first details on the first batch of DLC for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare that will be coming to us on January 31st of next year. Well at least to those players who have the game on the PS4 as Activision has still locked in that exclusive DLC first on the platform before all others. Don't let that detract you from the fun stuff that Infinity Ward has lined up for us though even though the PC and Xbox One gamers will most likely have to wait a month to get in on the same Call Of Duty fun as the rest.
