A new video has been released showing off some PlayStation exclusive titles coming in 2017 and maybe some PlayStation titles that should have been listed The year has just started and the video game releases will soon be upon us for all platforms from PlayStation to the many forms of PC. To start it all off it looks like a new video showing off some of the titles on their way to the PS4 and PS VR systems has dropped to show us what we can expect. Titles like Drawn To Death, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice are on the list with one of them already having a solid date listed and not just a general year. Read More...

A new batch of Horizon Zero Dawn screenshots have dropped as a nice gift before Horizon Zero Dawn and for the new year In just about two months now we will be getting to load up Horizon Zero Dawn on our PS4s and a lot of us couldn't be more excited. Not only does the game look great but it is a new IP from Guerrilla Games and we all know we need more of those as rehashing the same old will keep the industry truly stagnant. Of course, just being new isn't something that will make Horizon Zero Dawn sell but it is something that we always enjoy sinking our gaming teeth into. Even if we've seen similar types of games and stories like this out there. Read More...

The winners of The Steam Awards have been announced with all of The Steam Awards winners being selected by users for the first time ever Here we go with the start of the new year with The Steam Awards first ever announced winners. While many other outlets and award shows were going on well before the end of the year, it looks like there was one that waited right up to December 31st to be able to give all games a chance. At least those that released on PC via Steam as The Steam Awards were all selected by the users during the big Steam Winter Sale and not some hand-picked panel of judges. These are all by gamers and for gamers while the awards actually go to the developer behind our favorite games that have come out. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site We did it. We made it not only to the end of another week in video games but the end of the year in video games as well. It was one hell of a ride and thankfully we were able to get us all through it. Even though this is generally the week that is the slowest we managed to get you two reviews for The Walking Dead and our impressions of Friday The 13th as it stands right now. There was also a lot of interesting news for both Assassin's Creed and For Honor as well as some for all of those PC gamers out there playing on Windows 10. Read More...

There were a lot of video games that came out in 2016 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here's a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had some movies based on video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It of course isn't a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part II. This is the second episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did Thankfully there was no real down time between the first episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and the second. That is outside of the time required to download the content as Telltale Games did give us some back to back work here. Hopefully it is a taste of things to come with all of their IPs but for now we are here to focus on The Walking Dead. Read More...

A leaked build for Windows 10 shows that a new Game Mode option is on the way & this Game Mode will help games run even smoother on the PC As if PC Gaming wasn't already top-notch, it looks like there is a new Game Mode in the works for Windows 10 that is going to make it even better. How is that? Well if the reports are true then this new mode is going to minimize the resources running on your system when Game Mode is activated and direct that saved potential toward making your games run smoother, faster, and look much better. At least if you have a system that can do all of this in the first place. Read More...

A new look at how Killer Instinct's Thunder was redesigned from the ground up to give Killer Instinct a more traditional New Perce look and feel In a time when cultural insensitivity is at a high it is nice to see, even though unexpected, to see that Killer Instinct is trying to keep things traditional for fans of the game. Not in terms of gameplay and mechanics here as that is something that Iron Galaxy Studios is always working and tweaking for us but in the way that they have taken the Nez Perce character of Thunder and made him fit more with the traditions instead of what is thought to be traditions. At least as close as Killer Instinct can be with the current state of the tribe. Read More...

The Apollyon Collector's Edition of For Honor has just been shown off from GameStop in case you needed more For Honor goodies to adorn your game cave If you've been waiting to see the next big collector's edition coming to For Honor then you are in luck as we have a new one to look at as the original has already sold out. That would be the version that came with the three different helmets on stands that Ubisoft sold through their store a little while back. Now we get a new one right out of GameStop to look at and maybe drop some extra cash on For Honor to get some extra little goodies. Read More...

Another rumor for the next Assassin's Creed title is out there floating around & claiming this Assassin's Creed will be on the Nintendo Switch It looks like the rumor mill is flowing again as we get further speculation on the next Assassin’s Creed title and this time it is about the platforms it could be coming to. Of course none of this has been confirmed or commented on by Ubisoft as of yet but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be a possibility and this one seems to have some merit in general as well as others "in the know" agreeing with it. Pretty much this all boils down to the next Assassin's Creed coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and… the Nintendo Switch when it finally comes out. Read More...

We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part I. This is the first episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did The wait is over and now we get to kick off the new season of The Walking Dead from Telltale Games. In a recent interview for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite is looks like details around when we should see Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite next year have been slipped It looks like next year is going to be a big one for Capcom with all of the anticipated titles and now even more so as it looks like Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite may be joining in some of the great anniversary fun late next year. That is, we may now know about when we can expect to see the game hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and it all looks to be linked into the huge Street Fighter anniversary that is about to go down. At least that is if we take what recently was said during an interview for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite with a bit of faith and a bit of hope. Read More...

It looks like the real word comparison to Battlefield 1 has ended for now as Battlefield 1 players fail to recreate the Christmas Truce of WWI The time has come and gone and it looks like Battlefield 1 players just couldn't hold back their killing urges long enough to try and recreate the great Christmas Truce of WWI. At least not on their own as it could have been forced by DICE and EA but it was not and only boiled down to some players trying to recreate it all as well as Battlefield 1 has been trying to do in general. It seems the killing of soldiers was more fun in a game about doing that all the other times of year than standing by and not doing that for a single day. Read More...

Another look at For Honor's latest heroes has been released along with a look at a new mode in For Honor that brings a new team dynamic A few weeks back we had a look at a new character for each faction in For Honor and a little bit of the story going on. Things were explained a bit as we had the chance to look at them in action but it's always fun to get a refresher and that is what Ubisoft has for us here today. This would be the Shugoki, Warlord, and Peacekeeper just in case you missed out on the original look we were all given. Not only that but a look at the new multiplayer mode, Elimination, coming to For Honor when it launches on February 14th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year. Read More...
