Official word has come down that Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to us all and will house the first three Spyro titles in remastered form Rumor no more as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been announced and will be the nice big remastered package of these original games for us all. Most of the rumors we had heard so far have been about spot on, except that the games are being remastered by Toys For Bob instead. It will house the first three Spyro titles all rebuilt from the ground up and coming at us in the HD quality that the PS4 and Xbox One can currently push out there. It is not mentioned directly by Activision, but I am guessing it will be 1080p for the base models of the consoles and 4K for the Pro and X versions of the systems. Read More...

The Gold and War Chest aspect of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be going away and you now have a limited time to use them all in Shadow Of War If you were really into spending real-world money to boost things in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you may need to get on that bandwagon a little more as it will be going away. Well, at least the Gold and War Chest aspect of the game is going away as Monolith Productions is pulling the plug on it and keeping the game flowing in all of the other ways. So if you like shelling out that money to get virtual things in Shadow Of War, get on that as it goes away On May 8th when the next big update for the game is coming. Read More...

We sit down and review The Council: Mad Ones. This is the first episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Mad Ones A new type of episodic game is entering the arena with The Council as the first episode is now out there for those interested to enjoy. On the surface, it sounds like Big Bad Wolf is just trying to get in on the market, but there is more to this game than meets the eye initially. This is most likely why Focus Home Interactive took a chance and opted to give it a full run. Read More...

The release date for the next Spider-Man game has been set and we have a look at all of the ways you can purchase Spider-Man with pre-orders We were told that this month we would get a lot more information and new looks at Spider-Man and Insomniac Games has started off swinging for the fences. Not with any huge gameplay dumps or huge information dumps for the game, but before you get sad, we can now look to see the game hit the PS4 on September 7th. Yes, they started it all off with the official release date for Spider-Man and did not wait until the end of the month like other games have done when doing the same thing. Read More...

We have another asymmetrical action title, Deathgarden, on its way as Deathgarden is given the full announcement and gameplay to be available at PAX East As if the world was not already grim enough, we have another sad look at the future with Deathgarden getting a full announcement and looking to bring more asymmetrical action to our PCs. That all sounded pretty grim there for the game, so let me be clear that I am talking about the new game Behaviour is working on that is placing us in the role of someone in a grim future. A grim future that we can experience from our seats and have a good time with. Read More...

A new trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII’s next batch of DLC is here to entice us more into the world this Call Of Duty has built us Last week we had our first taste of the next bit of DLC coming to Call Of Duty: WWII on April 10th. At least for those playing on the PS4 as they get it first. Just reminding you just in case you were expecting it on the Xbox One and PC on the same day. Nonetheless, we had our first taste of the three new maps, new War Mode mission, and the next chapter of Nazi Zombies that Sledgehammer Games has for us. Read More...

Even more gameplay for God Of War is here and brings us a new look at the Trolls in God Of War as well as how some of the exploration will play out Each day April 20th gets a bit closer and that means we get a bit closer to having the chance to play God Of War on the PS4. Even with all of the parts of the game that Santa Monica Studio has shown us for the game; it still feels like there is still so much that we have yet to experience. The way that these kinds of marketing campaigns should work. Give us just enough to have a great idea on what we are going into with God Of War here but leave out so much that the game still feels completely new once we hit the title screen. Read More...

The release date for City Of Brass has now been set and we can see more of the fun City Of Brass will be bringing to us this May when it launches It has been a good grip of time since we last heard anything for City Of Brass. This could be partly because Uppercut Games was hard at work on it and did not have the time to divulge more of the game. It could also be partly due to the fact that City Of Brass has been in Early Access on Steam so PC players have had a chance to see how the game is coming along and thus talk about it in general. That would leave some of the PS4 and Xbox One gamers out in the dark though. Read More...

A new psychological horror title, The InnerFriend, has been announced and it looks like The InnerFriend aims to have us relive our childhood nightmares Get ready to dig up some of those old fears from childhood as The InnerFriend has been announced and aims to do something close to just that. Okay, maybe not directly but Playmind is aiming to at least tackle something along these lines with their first real video game for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. More or less, The InnerFriend sounds to be more about the way we all coped with said fears and nightmares and how they are more similar than we all have thought before. Read More...

New gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution is out there and it looks like there is a lot more to building our Jurassic World than many previously thought Last week we were hit with the release date for Jurassic World Evolution as well as all of the pre-order goodies that would go along with it. Nothing truly stood out for now to pre-order the game before June 12th so far unless you want to get a few of those extra dinosaurs that Frontier Developments has put together for the game. That is of course until we had a chance to see the latest gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution and now we have a bit more to go on and get excited about. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more solid week of video games in the bag. I really need to find a better way to wrap this all up each week. Nonetheless, it has been another fun week with pretty much all highs for the week. We had a whole lot of new information for God Of War and we had a chance to see that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is making the leap over to the Xbox One now. We also had a nice big gameplay dump for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden that showed us just how awesome that game is shaping up to be. Read More...

Even more details for God Of War’s Leviathan Axe has been revealed with all of the other ways it changes God Of War’s combat system we are getting If you have not seen enough of God Of War’s new weapon and combat style, then get ready for a bit more. It is going to be driven home insanely well before the game hits the PS4 on April 20th. At least if these videos that Santa Monica Studio keeps putting out there for the game have anything to say about it. That is the bigger chunk of what we have here again for God Of War, as you most likely guessed by now, but it also does look like there were a few things we had yet to be told mixed in this time. A new trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is here to show us all just how well Hellblade will look once it makes its way onto the Xbox One Earlier this week we had word that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was finally making the jump over to the Xbox One on April 11th. It had spent so much time as a PC and PS4 only title that Ninja Theory wanted to make sure all gamers out there could experience the story and game. Unless you are only on a Switch then you will need to hope that this Hellblade release garners even more attention and praise so it can be brought over there too. I am not sure how well that would work, but it is never outside of the realm of possibilities. Read More...

A new expansion for Aragami, an action stealth game from 2016, has been announced and we get to see more of the world’s story with Aragami: Nightfall If you think back to October of 2016, you may remember a fun new title named Aragami that came out that mixed together a few really great game mechanics and made for an overall fun game. Lince Works did not hide the fact that the game took elements from Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid, and Mark Of The Ninja to craft a game that blended all of those together in a fun way. It was not widely received, but it still brought some fun to the PS4 and PC. Read More...

A new behind the scenes video for God Of War is here to show us just how we can fight like Kratos from God Of War… or at least fake it… More from behind the scenes of God Of War is here as we have yet another motion capture video showing off how the team is making the game as life-like as possible. No, it does not look like Santa Monica Studios is doing anything that has not been done before in modern video games, but we at least get to see how some of the big attacks and combos we will be performing ad nauseam were digitized. Weirdly, none of it looks to have been done at all by the actual actor for Kratos and Atreus in God Of War, but it does look like all of the rage and anger will carry over. Read More...
