The Super NES Classic Edition has been announced and this little Super NES will be bringing us a lot more of our favorite titles Get your nostalgia engines running as the Super NES Classic Edition has been officially announced now and will be bringing us many of our favorite titles from the '90s so we can relive them all. This isn't some little extra add-on for the Switch that Nintendo is bringing us here, but the same deal we recently had with the NES and all of those old '80s titles that almost no one could purchase online outside of eBay scalpers. Here we all go again to lose our minds over the Super NES and all of those older titles we loved when we were younger, for those '80s and '90s kids at least, but a way to show more of the current generation where all their current games started out. There is now a release date for Injustice 2's Sub Zero DLC and we have a small look at him in action for Injustice 2 in case you were wondering It looks like the DLC fighters for Injustice 2 are going to be rolling out here in a pretty quick order as we just had Red Hood release about a month after the initial release of the game and now we have word on when the next fighter will be joining in. This isn't a completely new fighter mind you but another from the NetherRealm Studios vault brought to us just for this game. He's already been announced, but now we know that Sub Zero will be coming to Injustice 2 on the PS4 and Xbox One on July 11th. Read More...

New gameplay for Observer from E3 has been released along with a description of how Observer is building its own sub-horror genre It looks like I missed out on Observer yet again at E3 this year, but it was only a miss by a little bit and I have recovered from it all. That is due to the fact that Bloober Team has released the gameplay that they were showing off out there at the expo, but also given the commentary as to what the end goal for the game is. Yes, Observer is another horror game set in a Cyberpunk setting, but it is using what they are calling Hidden Horror to drive the game forward instead of the high-action or pure gore that many other title rely on. Not that there is an issue with those titles, but this is not the game that we will see soon on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one jam packed week of news and updates for all of our video games now wasn't it? Of course it was. It was the week after E3 and there was still so much more to talk about before sticking a fork in it all until next year or the next big event in the industry. We did get to Call Of Cthulhu, Vampyr, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse to name a few but we also had a chance to bring more to you for Hunt: Showdown. That was all the stuff out of E3 directly too and there were so many more video games to look at and think about. Read More...

A bunch of new characters have joined in on Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite & you can play with some of them in the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite story demo If you've been living under a rock then you may have missed out on the latest update for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite out of E3 this year. The game had more screen time out there and Capcom took to showing off a bit more of the game's story as well as giving us all a few more characters in the mix that we can now know we will play with. While I know there are some great characters that people are hoping to make it back in for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, but with the latest update here I think you are going to be left wanting when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th here. While at E3 2017 I was able to see ELEX in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on ELEX From E3. When I first heard of ELEX I was a little on the cautious side to get into the game at all out of fear that it would be just another bit of shovelware. It honestly looked like a weird mashing of Mad Max, something Sci Fi, and something fantasy all rolled up into one but thankfully Piranha Bytes was out at E3 this year to show off more of the game and I was lucky enough to sit down and have a look at it a bit more as well as get some questions answered about the game. Now my understanding of ELEX is a bit greater and here's what I can pass along to you to help you figure out if it will be on your gaming shelf here on October 17th on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Let's dive right in. Read More...

At E3, Beyond Good & Evil 2 was officially announced and now we can see Beyond Good & Evil 2 running in-engine as well as some of the scale of the game's universe There has been one title on a lot of gamer's tongues and minds for quite some time now and with the rumors all over the place it was not that big of a shock that Ubisoft brought out the big guns at E3 and gave the world confirmation that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is going to be a thing. A big thing at that as they gave it a nice, long CG announcement trailer to build all of the hype. Hype that was built so much that I ran into quite a few people on the floor hoping to see some actual gameplay footage for Beyond Good & Evil 2 in some form or another. Read More...

New gameplay for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has just released and it will make you question your own sanity in terms of Hellblade and Senua I don't think I can say this enough, but with each new trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice I don't think that August 8th can get here soon enough. Ninja Theory just keeps impressing with it all and this latest trailer for the game does exactly the same. Yes, we have a new trailer for the game again here and while they skipped out on E3, this completely makes up for it all as it came close enough for it all. Read More...

The extended demo for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has made its way online so those Uncharted who missed out at E3 can still check it all out One of the big highlights of the PlayStation media showcase at E3 this year was the inclusion of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as it is with the franchise almost every year. While it may not have been the title from Naughty Dog that everyone was hoping to see more for, there needed to be something given that it is hitting the PS4 on August 22nd and such. That and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy looks to be another fun addition to the overall franchise and who wouldn't want to see more for it? Read More...

A lot more gameplay for Agony has just dropped and this bit shows off a new location in Agony as well as a lot more on the twisted visuals we will get to see Before all of the insanity that is E3 kicked off there was a little stir as Agony was hit with a delay due to it becoming a larger title for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime soon. There is no blaming Madmind Studio from taking the cash they just received and building onto the game to give us a truly horrific experience and game to play through. This would kind of also explain why Agony didn't seem to have any kind of presence out at the big convention this year in any physical means. Read More...

At E3 I was able to sit down and gather more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Julien Desourteaux. Here's what I was able to get on Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Not all games that I was excited to learn more about at E3 were up and running on the show floor and Werewolf: The Apocalypse was one of them. Any gamer and fan of the franchise would have been excited to see what Cyanide Studio had for the game since it was only announced earlier this year and nothing else had been brought up about it. While Focus Home Interactive was featuring Werewolf: The Apocalypse at E3, there wasn't anything in terms of gameplay and the like out there, but that didn't mean we came up completely dry. While at E3 2017 I was able to see Extinction in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Extinction From E3. Extinction was a title before E3 that had a pretty quick announcement and then turnaround to show off a bit more of the game. This would be the action-adventure, giant ogre killing title that we saw at the beginning of June from Iron Galaxy. You know the one hopefully. If not, don't worry as we were able to check out Extinction out at E3 so we could get a bit more familiar with this title before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in the near future. While at E3 2017 I was able to see Vampyr in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Vampyr From E3. We were all promised more for Vampyr at E3 this year and we were not let down. Even the bit that was shown off to the public out there was still a massive chunk of what DontNod has cooked up for us all. You can see some of that gameplay further down but it was only a small slice of what I was able to check out for Vampyr while on the show floor. While we may not have been able to pry out a solid release date in November for the game, Focus Home Interactive still has that on lock, we did get to see a lot more for this open-world horror title coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC where all of your killing choices in the game will have some form of effect on the rest of the world. It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game is getting some new updates here with new clothes and a retro skin from the Friday The 13th game from the '80s If you jumped in on the Friday The 13th: The Game bandwagon from the start, you may be one of those out there who were being plagued too much by server issues and glitches in the game to find the enjoyment. You may also have been one of those gamers out there who happened to understand the growing pains that Illfonic and Gun Media were going through and gave them some leeway with it all and just enjoyed what you had so far. That seemed to be the split that happened for Friday The 13th that I saw online after it launched and spanned from not only the PC version but also the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Read More...

While at E3 I was able to see Hunt: Showdown in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Hunt: Showdown. It's a bit odd but downright amazing that three years ago I was here to tell you all about a title called Hunt: Horrors Of The Gilded Age and just how amazing it looked and how excited I was for it. Then there wasn't a single word on it and Crytek went through a few shakeups and it was thought to be lost to the games of E3 that never came. Now we jump to this year and after having a small announcement, I was able to see Hunt: Showdown rise up from the ashes that was the other title and get me excited for the game again to come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
