Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier Is Announced & Coming This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Planet Of The Apes A new title in the Planet Of The Apes line has been announced & this fall we will be playing Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier for more story This seems like an out-of-nowhere announcement, but we have another new title coming this Fall in the way of Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier. No this is not another film that will be coming for the rebooted franchise, but a video game bridge of a title coming from Imaginati Studios to fill in some of the story between Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and War For The Planet Of The Apes. Seems like a bit of a miss given that the film has already launched and any solid tie-in there has mostly been missed, but nonetheless we are getting it. Read More...

Crackdown 3 Has Been Delayed Until Spring Of 2018 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Crackdown 3 After much debate, Crackdown 3 has been delayed to address all of the issues gamers had with Crackdown 3 recently as well as add improvements We were going so well with all of the good news in gaming and then we get hit with Crackdown 3 is on the delayed list yet again. Sadly, yes it looks like Reagent Games and Sumo Digital are going to need a lot more time to get the game out to us as it has been stated that the game is no longer hitting the November 7th release date anymore. Now we won't be seeing Crackdown 3 hitting the Xbox One and Windows PC until sometime in Spring of 2018. This could be a few months delay or a much larger one when you look at what Spring could mean. Giant Consequences Are Coming For Minecraft: Story Mode's Next Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Minecraft The trailer for the next episode of Minecraft: Story Mode has been released and it looks to be filled with even more Minecraft references as we enter the arena We have a new trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode next episode to look at and try to figure out what is going on after the events of the last one. It has been an interesting trip for Jesse and crew and they were all left in a very bad place after all was said and done. A traditional cliffhanger that we know from Telltale Games here so not too shocking, but it does look like they are taking us off into whole new worlds and events set forth by The Admin that was shown off in the last episode of Minecraft: Story Mode. SDCC 2017 Experience — Blade Runner 2049
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Blade Runner While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out the Blade Runner 2049 off-site event. Here's what we experienced for Blade Runner 2049 at SDCC 2017 Given that Blade Runner 2049 will be hitting theaters soon, October 6th, it makes sense that there would be a big thing out at SDCC to show it all off and build even more hype for the film. A big thing it was too as one of the larger parking lots near the convention center was taken over by a massive tent that only displayed the film's name but held many fun things inside; that is if you were willing to wait in the extremely long lines to get in. Thankfully though, the Blade Runner 2049 experience out there was handled rather well and offered up two different experiences for fans to check out. Read More...

Let's Do The Impossible & Kill A God In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored The first gameplay trailer for Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider is here and we get to see how we are tackling this new Dishonored standalone DLC During the big E3 event from Bethesda we heard that we were getting Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider to continue on the story as we all wanted. There isn't much more of a wait as we can see it on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on September 15th but it would be nice to see what Arkane Studios has crafted so far to get us all hyped up for it. Gameplay for an upcoming title, or expansion, or DLC (or whatever this can be considered for the Dishonored universe as it is a standalone thing but not a full game), is always welcome to help us get a feel for it all and that is what we have here today. Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Hero In Residence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Hero In Residence. This is the first episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did It's time to kick off yet another season for Minecraft: Story Mode as the first episode has dropped on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices with it coming soon to the Switch. All of this is something you should have known by now, but none the less Telltale Games is back at it trying to give us a great story set in the universe that Mojang has crafted that only has stories if we so define them. At least that has always been my takeaway for Minecraft before now and enjoy seeing it through the lens of another. Read More...

The Walking Dead Is Getting A Fourth & Final Season Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead During SDCC it was revealed that The Walking Dead from Telltale will be getting one more season to wrap up The Walking Dead story we've been waiting for There was a lot of good news to come out of SDCC this year but what we have here is a mix of good and bad as The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been announced to be in the works and heading to us sometime in 2018. Obviously we can see the good news here as we will get to see Clementine back in action and dig into some of the best storytelling that Telltale Games can offer, but it also means that all of this will be coming to an end here. I'm going to go on a limb and guess this is due to the fact that The Walking Dead is over saturating the market with all of the other titles they have coming out there, but it could just be that the team wants to move on to other things or maybe other aspects of the universe. The Wolf Among Us Is Finally Getting A Season Two Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of July 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Wolf Among Us The second season for The Wolf Among Us has been confirmed and fans of The Wolf Among Us only had to wait four years for it Well it only took four years since the first season of The Wolf Among Us ended, but now we have a second season to look forward to. Before you try to do all of the math on that and tell me that Telltale Games brought the game out only three years ago, it sadly looks like this second season will not be out until the Summer of 2018 at the earliest. The Wolf Among Us' first season wrapped on July 8th of 2014, so the math is sound again. But enough on all of that and the sadness that will remind us all of. Read More...

Injustice 2's Starfire Is On The Way With Some Others In Tow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The first gameplay look for Injustice 2's Starfire has landed and it looks like more Injustice 2 premiere skins are on the way too Just as we all assumed, during SDCC this year we had another character for Injustice 2 shown off. Not a completely new character in terms of announcement, but we did get to finally see NetherRealm Studios' version of Starfire for the game in action and assumed to be released during August as part of the first Fighter Pack. While it would have been awesome to get solid word on the other characters coming to Injustice 2 in the coming months while out there, it is nice to see that they are working hard on bringing us what has already been announced out there. Even if the Microsoft Store is jumping the gun and letting us know that Black Manta is indeed coming to the game soon. Read More...

The Lich King Is Serving Up SDCC Fun For Hearthstone: Knights Of The Frozen Throne
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Hearthstone To celebrate the upcoming Hearthstone: Knights Of The Frozen Throne expansion there will be a Hearthstone themed Ice Cream Parlor for fans of the game Yet another video game franchise is getting a nice showing out at SDCC and this one is not only for the new expansion Hearthstone: Knights Of The Frozen Throne, but it is also something much more than just a panel with a few little tidbits of gameplay and features. While I am sure that there will be some of this on site out there, it looks like Blizzard and The Lich King are teaming up to bring fans something they have wanted for a while; a new ice cream shop run by The Lich King. Not exactly what one would have expected for Hearthstone, but you can't knock the fact that they know how to bring the fans something truly run. Read More...
