TRON The next trip into the world of TRON is now set down with a release date given to us for TRON: Catalyst Having only been announced near the end of last year, one could think that TRON: Catalyst might still be a bit of way out from actually launching. You would not be wrong in thinking that given how most announcements to releases go. It does kind of follow the same suit here, with the difference being that Bithell Games and Big Fan Games are gearing us all up to head back into the world of TRON sooner than we might have assumed. Mortal Kombat We have a look at yet another Kameo fighter for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns to shake things up further in the Mortal Kombat universe Well, this is a bit of a twist we are getting here for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns. Not that we are getting a new Kameo fighter in the mix but that NetherRealm Studios is taking the time to highlight the character before they become fully available in the game on March 18th. A character we have seen in the Mortal Kombat 1 landscape already, but not in a fighting role specifically up to now. Terminator The Terminator is coming back for us all with the announcement we have here for Terminator 2D: No Fate It is really starting to look like there is no fate for Sarah Connor out there as we have another run at the IP with Terminator 2D: No Fate. A new title that has been announced by Reef Entertainment with Bitmap Bureau helming all of the development for it. All so we can relive more of the world of Terminator 2 again, but in a vastly different way than one would originally think. Mortal Kombat The next Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns character is on the way soon with another Terminator shooting up the Mortal Kombat universe Yet another time travel is coming into Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns soon with the T-1000 getting the highlight for the next DLC. Yet another of the guest fighters that NetherRealm Studios was gearing up for us for a while and the payoff finally coming on March 18th for those who have the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All to give us yet another of the Terminators into the Mortal Kombat line while also paying homage to the film the character is from. Darwin A new Darwin is on the way to us in the world with the reveal of Darwin’s Paradox! coming to us all I do not think that many out there had the reveal of a game like Darwin’s Paradox! on their list for 2025, but here we are. A new title from ZDT Studio and Konami that will be offering us all a new action-platformer title in the mix for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Dead By Daylight A new collaboration with Dead By Daylight is offering up even more to survive in the 2v8 mode of Dead By Daylight It looks like we are going to be getting more to do with our partners out there in Dead By Daylight, as a new collaboration for the 2v8 mode in the game is on the way. Switch 2 All the speculation of the Nintendo Switch 2 can now be put to rest with the official first look at the new Switch 2 The wait is over, and kind of begun, as the Nintendo Switch 2 has been officially shown off and announced out there. All of that and it looks like we have a bit of a first look for us all to start a different kind of speculation as we wait for the full details and launch of the new console this year. Donkey Kong Donkey Kong and the family are coming back as Donkey Kong Country Returns HD launches out to the world once more The Switch is just about to give us all more of that nostalgia feeling out there with the launch of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. The adventure that started years ago with Nintendo is now ready, on January 16th, to bring us all back in or bring in new fans to enjoy the game again. Maybe even to further introduce gamers to Donkey Kong after the film and other versions of the character have shown up to audiences that might not have known where they all came from.
