We Were Here The next title in the We Were Here IP is announced with We Were Here Forever hitting all of the next-gen platforms this year We will soon get to head back to that dark and cold place of Castle Rock with the most recent announcement for We Were Here Forever. The next in the line of games from Total Mayhem Games has been given the official announcement and looks to bring the fourth in the line to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC before the end of this year. A Musical Story A new rhythm game, A Musical Story, is announced for us and it looks like A Musical Story will tell us a story through the music and art It is always fun to see when we have new IPs coming out from small teams and here we go with the latest titled A Musical Story. A new rhythm title that is coming out of Glee-Cheese Studio for the Switch, Xbox One, PC, and iOS platforms. That is the current list but I have a feeling that could expand over time. Oddworld The release date for Oddworld: Soulstorm is set and we have a new look at how Oddworld has evolved with some new gameplay I love when we get back-to-back updates for games as we just did for Oddworld: Soulstorm. Last week we had a little bit of a tease as to how the game is going to look and this week, we get a full gameplay breakdown from Oddworld Inhabitants during the PlayStation State of Play stream. That and we have a release date for Oddworld: Soulstorm set as April 6th with the game being one of the PS+ titles for April on the PS5 specifically. Crash Bandicoot Crash Bandicoot is finally joining the other platforms with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time hitting the current-gen consoles and more It seemed odd when Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time dropped on us that it was only hitting the PS4 and Xbox One. At the time they were the big boys still out there but the PS5 and Xbox Series X was just about to launch and the Switch and PC options were always still out there. It looks like those were also in the pipes but Toys For Bob wanted to make sure they were ready before making the full announcement. Total War Get ready for more Total War as we have the official announcement for Total War: Warhammer III out there in the wilds now The war will keep raging on with the new announcement for Total War: Warhammer III out there for the fans to get excited for. It feels like this should have been known for us all that Creative Assembly was working on it all here and now we have the official confirmation for it all. All through the lens of a nice cinematic trailer to give us that Total War feel but also a little bit of what could be going on in the game when it comes later this year. Atomic Heart A new trailer for Atomic Heart is here to show off the Raytracing and DLSS that will be available when Atomic Heart launches out there Slowly but surely we are getting more for Atomic Heart out there even if it does not always seem to line up with anything to better define what the end result will be. Tormentor A new, and extremely dark game, Tormentor is announced with Tormentor promising the darkest fantasies of humans coming to life It does seem like Madmind Studios is not hurting for any ideas of video games that go down some very dark paths of sanity out there, and now we have Tormentor to keep an eye on. That or an eye on the studio with this game placing us in the role of a killer that hunts down victims, brings them back to a torture dungeon, and then streams the horrors online for others to watch. Terminator A new version of Terminator: Resistance is on the way with the announcement of the Terminator: Resistance Enhanced edition of the game If you missed out on the game before, then get ready with the announcement for Terminator: Resistance Enhanced here. A new version of the game that is heading to the PS5 on March 26th from Teyon will have us back in the resistance fighting side of it all and trying to survive the end of times one more time. All with the visual updates and everything we have been looking for on the console version of Terminator: Resistance since it first hit us out there. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Things are starting to slow down and we can start to kick back and enjoy some of those video games we have out there. It is that time of year, and even though the awards of last week gave us some stuff to look at for The Callisto Protocol and a new Mass Effect, I have feeling things will be slowing down a lot more until the new year starts. Callisto Protocol A new horror game, The Callisto Protocol, is on its way with some major players behind the scenes for The Callisto Protocol It is going to be a bit of a wait, but we have a new horror coming at us with The Callisto Protocol. The wait being that the current timeline points it to a 2022 release with it poised to hit the PC and consoles at the time. All of which is time I am fine seeing Striking Distance Studios to take so we have some solid next-gen horror coming at us all. Something that is even more exciting when you also learn that some of the devs working on The Callisto Protocol are the same that made the Dead Space franchise so over-the-top with the fear.
