So just as Sony did when GoWIII was hitting its console, Epic is doing the same for GoW3 for the 360. Those titles being God of War III and Gears of War 3 respectfully before I move on. So yes this means that if for some reason you held out on getting either of the Gears of War titles, you can look forward to getting a combo pack with both of those games on disc to catch you up with everything before the big daddy hits. Blizzard's World of Warcraft is the current definitive MMO. With six years of collected content, twelve million players, and three expansions, it doesn't look like WoW is going anywhere soon. Blizzard had built an empire, but to strengthen the empire's walls, it would have to rebuild itself from the inside out. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow came and went. It was a great addition to the franchise in my opinion but the replay on the game is almost nonexistent. Once you beat the main game and then clean up the challenges and Paladin play-through there really is not much more to do with the game. It just sits on the shelf collecting dust like all of tomes in the Vampire's castle. What do you do after you announce that your latest game has gone over the $1 Billion dollar worldwide sales mark? You announce some DLC to keep that game going strong. Activision announced today its first DLC map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops entitled First Strike. The new DLC Map pack is slated for February 1, 2011 to be released on XBox Live. “We’re committed to supporting Call of Duty: Black Ops fans with continuous updates to the game and exciting new content that will keep our community engaged,” said Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. The map pack will include four new maps: Kowloon - Kowloon city in china, except this time on rooftops Berlin Wall - Located in Berlin at the infamous Checkpoint Charlie Discovery - an Antarctic research station Stadium - takes place at a hockey rink in the US A new Zombie map called "Ascension" will also be included in the map pack, but no details on that one yet. No I'm not saying that Bulletstorm is going to be the stop gap in the need for Gears Of War 3. It will however score you a slot in the GoW3 beta. Well at least if you preorder the "Epic Edition" of Bulletstorm that is coming to the XBox 360. There is no price difference for the "Epic Edition" from any standard price for a new title ($59.99) but there are a few extras outside of the Gears beta. Looks like Blizzard did it again. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the latest expansion in the World of Warcraft series sold 3.3 million copies in the first 24 hours of its release. With Ghostbusters: The Videogame selling over a million copies, it looks like Atari decided to milk our childhoods for more money by having Wanako Studios, a studio owned by the makers of Naughty Bear, slop together another game in the franchise. From these preliminary views, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is going to play just like Alien Breed or Dead Nation with a coat of Ghostbusters paint on it.
