by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 28th of September 2011 - 05:01 PM ]
Every year BlizzCon bring some of the most amazing talent to their closing ceremonies at BlizzCon and this year is no exception. Usually fans wait patiently to find out who will be this year's guest and Blizzard has really outdone themselves. With past musical performances by Tenacious D, Ozzy Osbourne and The Offspring, this year we will welcome the Foo Fighters will grace the stage at the Anaheim convention center during the event held October 21st - 22nd. Over the course of their 16-year career, the Foo Fighters have sold tens of millions of records, won half a dozen Grammy awards, and raised countless voices in sing-alongs of iconic anthems like "Everlong," "My Hero," "Learn to Fly", "All My Life," “Best of You,” and “The Pretender.” Foo Fighters' BlizzCon debut marks founder Dave Grohl's triumphant return to the convention after playing drums for Tenacious D in last year's show, and comes during an international arena, stadium, and festival tour promoting their seventh album, the international #1 record Wasting Light. Battlefield 3 Battleblogs
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 19th of September 2011 - 06:11 PM ]
So in my travels around the land of the internet I've come across some pretty cool stuff in regards to Battlefield 3. If you head on over to their website they've been giving some pretty sweet updates via their "BattleBlog" such as some co-op campaign and Multiplayer details. So instead of being lazy and having you run over to the website yourselves, which you should do anyways, I'm going to do my job. Now I did not know about this "BattleBlog" until a couple days ago, so hopefully I'm not too far behind. Multiplayer Goodies! Read More...

Review: Transformers: Dark Of The Moon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2011 - 11:07 PM ]
As I am sure you undoubtedly know, the new Transformers film is in theaters. This also means that the new game based on the film, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, has hit shelves to try and draw more money out of our pockets due to nostalgia. Yep, here is yet another film based game. Another chance for a game company to rush something out just to catch a few extra bucks from the hype. Let's see how this fairs against all of the other film based shit games out there. The Story After the events of the last film, the Autobots have taken it upon themselves to help the human race by performing secret missions to keep the peace of the world. Read More...

Dark Of The Moon Shows How Bumblebee Stings
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of May 2011 - 10:42 PM ]
Unlike Mass Effect 3, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is still on track for its June release. I mean it better be as Activision is trying to get it out in the same window as the upcoming film as well. A delay now would be retardababy. Or at least give us the promise that is not just a film tie-in and a real follow up to War For Cybertron. Well with the being on track and all, there are a few more screen shots from the game to take a look at. You can see them below. Read More...

Command Come In... New Operation Raccoon City Game Play Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of April 2011 - 05:27 PM ]
It is in and it makes Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City look like a load of fun. The trailer also makes all of the screen shots look like there were originally working it out for the Wii. Granted, there are a lot of pre-rendered scenes in the trailer, but if you look fast, you can see the game play mixed in. From the looks of it, it looks to take RE: Outbreak and do what was originally intended for those games. Fast action and a bit of sneaking with a sprinkle of Zombies and B. Read More...

Finally We Get To Play As Umbrella In Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
by Andy [ Wednesday, 30th of March 2011 - 09:38 PM ]
So it would seem just like Resident Evil 4, Capcom is looking for another way to package its older titles for us all to purchase again. Only this time it is RE2 and RE3…but from the point of view of Umbrella. Now this could be a little interesting, minus the fact that you should be destined to lose from the start. Here is a teaser for the title that is slated for this winter. It's not all that much, but it does have a bit of game footage and it shows Leon being introduced again. Read More...

Transformers Milking The Dark Of The Moon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of February 2011 - 04:47 PM ]
I was hoping that we were all beyond this with the epic tea bagging Devastator gave us in the last Transformers film. But I guess Transformers: War For Cybertron did well enough for Activision to look into doing another Transformers game. With that let me present you Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. The next in the line of new Transformers games and a tie-in with the new film from look and sound of it. Why they have switched gears from the new games they have created to the tie-in I have no clue. Well outside of wanting to milk the consumer for more money because of the film. Read More...

Review: Bloodline Champions
by Corey Dockendorf [ Tuesday, 25th of January 2011 - 08:52 PM ]
Bloodline Champions is the latest game from Swedish company Stunlock Studios and Funcom. Before you read any further let's get this question out of the way, "No this is not a DoTA clone." It is an online multiplayer arena based game. This game has no character leveling, power progression and no storyline. Thus making it easy for beginner players to hop into the action but also has enough options to reward the more advanced players. So let's jump into the arena. Read More...

Review: Saw II: Flesh And Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of November 2010 - 07:47 PM ]
Another year and another, and touted as the last, Saw film and a new Saw game to go along with it. Some would say that the whole franchise has been going downhill for a long while now, on the film side, and Saw: The Video Game was not all that well received by gamers. "So why even make a sequel?" is what you have to be thinking. Is it to cash in on the last legs of the franchise? Read More...

Not The Kind Of Blood Drive You'd Expect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of September 2010 - 07:56 PM ]
Hey zombie fans who also play video games! Activision has a brand new IP for all of our XBoxes and PS3s coming out this November. Yea, just in time to miss Halloween, but still another "new" IP for us to drop our hard earned cash on. Here's what Blood Drive is all about. In Blood Drive, contestants must use their motorized death steeds of steel in a televised game show where drivers battle each other and hordes of revolting flesh eaters in an all-out fight to the death. Face undead frat boys, cops, strippers and bachelorette partiers, each with their own special brand of death and devastation – and ways to die! While these rotting monsters wander the streets of a desert sin city craving sweet, succulent brains, your enemies have come equipped battle hardened armed vehicles, including heavily weaponized muscle cars, hot rods, and more. Let's Look At Jigsaw's Drawing Board
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of August 2010 - 05:51 PM ]
Where does he get all those wonderful toys? Oh wait wrong franchise for that quote. But it still kind of fits for Jigsaw in the Saw film and video game franchises. Doesn't it? For those of you that don't know where he gets them let me spoil it for you. He makes them himself, unlike Batman. Just like any good builder, be it creative death traps or video game level design, it all has to start somewhere. That somewhere usually blueprints or conceptual art for the ultimate thing to slay audiences minds. Konami is giving us all a look at the genius behind some of these traps, levels and characters in the upcoming Saw II: Flesh and Blood video game. Read More...

I Can't Live Because Of You NCSoft
by Binh Nguyen [ Saturday, 21st of August 2010 - 11:51 PM ]
Craig Smallwood from Hawaii will soon be a name that will be in gaming news for a while. Why? Wired.com has reported that Craig has filed a lawsuit against NCSoft. What for you may ask? Craig claims that NCSoft “acted negligently in failing to warn or instruct or adequately warn or instruct plaintiff and other players of Lineage II of its dangerous and defective characteristics, and of the safe and proper method of using the game.” Wahhhhh? Craig claimed NCSoft should pay unspecified monetary damages because of how addicting the game is. Read More...
