Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is getting a free batch of DLC today with the Tactical Taco Party Pack Good news for those who have picked up Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare or another reason to pick up the game for those who have been holding out. Today (7/1/14) there is a new batch of DLC being released for the game called the Tactical Taco Party Pack and it is completely free to download. Deep Silver has just announced Escape Dead Island, a third-person survival mystery take on the Dead Island franchise from Fatshark Just in case you couldn't wait for some hardcore zombie killing action in Dead Island 2 or Dying Light (Coming 2015™), Deep Silver and Fatshark are bringing us yet another zombie slaying game of sorts with Escape Dead Island. It's not just zombie killing and surviving, but also a game about solving the mystery of what caused the outbreak and keeping your own sanity in the middle of this world crushing event. Also to deviate from the normal Dead Island type of formula is that Escape Dead Island will be in third-person view and with a graphic novel art style instead of the more realistic we are used to. While At E3 I Got To See Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Here on the site we have had mixed reviews and wants for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Some are excited to play the new game. Others are questioning why 2K and Gearbox are even trying to milk us for more money. None the less I was personally able to put hands to the game during E3 and I was able to see if the new additions and locations will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like the game that the developers are trying to make it be. Here's My Take On It There have been others out there to try and clone the Skylanders experience but none can do it like Toys For Bob and they are doing it again with Skylanders: Trap Team. This will be the fourth major title in the series and the third one that the developer has been 100% behind. Just when you thought that they were not going to be able to innovate and/or drain more cash from your wallet, it looks like they have and will. There is still a whole load of impressions and hands on we are still trying to churn out so you can get a feel for what you may have missed or didn't have the chance to actually play. While At E3 I Got To See Dead Island 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Ah Dead Island 2, now here is a title I can completely get behind and that was based just on the trailer that announced that the game was coming. Who doesn't like a little zombie killing action in a non-depressing yet not-over-the-top comedic way? More or less the balance between The Walking Dead and Dead Rising in terms of tone and mood. While At E3 I Got To See LittleBigPlanet 3 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Talk about a shocker out of left field with LittleBigPlanet 3. I knew it was coming sooner or later but when Media Molecule made it well noted they were not going to be showing anything at E3 I passed the hope for another LittleBigPlanet off. Then of course Sony had to go and change developers to Sumo Digital and that completely kept things under the radar. But none the less we have LittleBigPlanet 3 incoming for the PS4 and PS3 and I was able to get a bit of hands on with it at the Sony booth. Read More...

It has been officially announced that PlayStation owners will be getting Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare this coming August Originally there was a rumor being spread that Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare was finally making the jump to the PlayStation platform. EA was tweeting out mock images of PlayStation owned franchises with the PvZ twist to them but then left everything to speculation. The internet being the internet totally began the speculation and made the short leap of logic that this was some form of announcement that Garden Warfare was on its way to the PS4 and PS3. If you are eagerly waiting for Tales From The Borderlands to come out so you can expand on the stories of the world, let me offer you these three new shorts in a series call Tales From The HQ. Don't get them all mixed together though as while both the new game from Telltale and these are only connected in the way of Borderlands characters and environments. Tales From The HQ is a series of short films made by students at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA who happened to team up with 2K Games and Gearbox. Dying Light has been pushed back a few months now to better improve core aspects of the game. I could have sworn that Dying Light looked to be nearing the end of its development road. Even back when I first saw the demo at E3 last year the game seriously looked like it could have made an October 2013 release date if Techland and Warner Bros. truly pushed. Obviously they did not and now it would seem that is a good thing as even under the normal development cycle has left things wanting. Read More...
