News about the DOOM multiplayer beta and alpha have come out of QuakeCon 2015 as well as a few new looks at the gameplay for DOOM It would make sense that out of QuakeCon we would get some new information for DOOM wouldn't it? It is one of the larger showcasing of Bethesda's titles and we all know DOOM is going to try and make a huge splash when it finally launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Walking Dead Escape Was Back At SDCC Giving All Of Us A Feel For What A Survival Horror Game Really Feels Like Another SDCC down and another fun run of The Walking Dead Escape to show us all how a survival horror kind of game could be like in the real world. If this is your first time reading about The Walking Dead Escape this would be the zombie obstacle course that has been set up out in San Diego's Petco Park for the fourth year running. Pun intended. The rumors have been confirmed as it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider will have a PC and a PS4 release date in 2016 It looks like all those prayers worked everyone as Rise Of The Tomb Raider is now officially heading to the PS4 and PC. That's great news for everyone except the PS3 owners. The bad news in this is that it will be another year before Crystal Dynamics will be able to get Rise Of The Tomb Raider off the Xbox 360 and Xbox One as both versions are slated for a 2016 release window. The PC version getting an "Early 2016" and the PS4 version getting a "Holiday 2016" timeline. None the less Rise Of The Tomb Raider's state of being only on Xbox will only be for November 10th and moving into next year until the other platforms get their go at the game. Read More...

According to Amazon we now have a release date for Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition as well as how much we will be paying for the HD version of Darksiders 2 and its DLC It looks like we now have a release date for the Darksiders 2: The Deathinitive Edition; at least if you want to take what Amazon currently has listed completely to heart. It's not like they were wrong before when they posted all of the other HD versions of Nordic Games' properties were coming. Ten more tracks are added to the ever growing list of Guitar Hero Live songs and now there is also a pre-order incentive for those who want to secure Guitar Hero Live before launch Because we all know that we need a solid Guitar Hero Live set-list to work with it looks like we have ten more tracks to add to the list of songs we can rock out to on October 20th. FreeStyleGames has their work cut out for them to do this but as long as they keep the tunes flowing for Guitar Hero Live I doubt anyone will take up issue unless the controllers begin failing out of the box. Star Power is a thing of the past as Guitar Hero Live brings new Hero Powers to the franchise and we have the details on how they will change Guitar Hero Live We would have been a bit daft to think that Guitar Hero Live wouldn't be bringing back Star Power in some way or another. For those not fully up to snuff on the Guitar Hero lingo that would be the extra boost you get when you tilt the guitar during gameplay. During Minecon 2015 the first bit of story for Minecraft: Story Mode, as well as a trailer, have been released with all the Minecraft goodness included We've waited patiently for anything new for Minecraft: Story Mode since its first announcement and now we have a bit more to work with. It would make sense that Telltale would wait until Minecon to release all of this as it is the Minecraft convention and all. I never in this life cycle thought I would say that we needed or had a want for a Minecraft convention but we do and this is where Minecraft: Story Mode was first shown off to the world. It looks like the wait is over for those Android users whom want to get their hands on Fallout Shelter as it may be hitting the Play Store next month Earlier this week we had a nice review for Fallout Shelter up on the site. Dakota dug into the good, the ugly, and the bad aspects of Fallout Shelter with one of which being the fact that it has yet to make the jump over to the Android devices. Something that we all think should have been there since Bethesda Game Studios first announced the game. The Walking Dead Escape is back at SDCC 2015 giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like in the world of The Walking Dead Looks like the SDCC tradition just keeps going as The Walking Dead Escape is making its return again to SDCC 2015. This would be the live action, survival horror experience set in the world of The Walking Dead that graced Petco Park back in 2012 and has been going strong ever since. The only difference this year is it would seem that this video game-like experience is being brought to life even more not with just the TV show but also it sounds like the other media platforms and versions are making a show during The Walking Dead Escape. A new rumor has been cropped up around Rise Of The Tomb Raider from the guys over at The Know placing Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PS4 launch in late 2016 Nothing gets the morning juices flowing like a good old fashioned rumor and this one here is for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. This time it is all over the release date for the game. No, not the already announced release date of November 10th that Crystal Dynamics is aiming to hit for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game but about when we might be seeing Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4. For those who were not able to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in action at E3 2015 we have you covered with over 40 minutes of The Phantom Pain gameplay Not too surprising was the fact that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was one of the big titles that Konami had on the show floor for many to see at E3. What was a bit surprising, especially given all of the Kojima Productions drama, was the fact that their main demo was out in the open for all to see at specific intervals during the show. I would have thought that they would have had The Phantom Pain behind closed doors to keep questions to a minimum as they have in the past but I guess with the September 1st release date coming they wanted as many players seeing why they should pick up The Phantom Pain for their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PC. We have the first batch of screen shots to compare Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition to the original Darksiders 2 version to see how far the game has evolved Not that long ago now we had the official announcement for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition coming from Gunfire Games to bring the franchise to a new generation of fans out there wanting to give the franchise a chance but only got into things at the start of the PS4 and Xbox One days. That wasn't too long ago but you know, money and the want to push the Darksiders franchise forward require a new version of Darksiders 2 to be pumped out there. I won't complain as it will give me another new reason to don the Death mask and hop back into the fun and amazing universe designed by Nordic Games; even though this is another HD remaster of sorts.
