by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
It has just been announced that stealth-action game République will be making its way onto the PS4 with all five episodes If you have not heard of République yet then you are most likely a console gamer and are missing out on many PC and Mac only titles; or iOS and Android at that. Before you click away here though you better read on as it looks like République is coming to the PS4 next year in the remastered state that Camouflaj has already released. Well at least in terms of releasing the four of the five episodes out on Steam for République so far. Yes, this is another episodic title that we can all look forward to next year on the PS4 from GungHo Online. Read More...

28 Years Of Metal Gear Solid Will Be Concluded In The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new promotional video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released teasing that we will get the answers we've waited decades for It's a little crazy to think that we've been playing Metal Gear Solid games for almost thirty years. Twenty eight to be exact and it has been one hell of a ride that Kojima has taken us on over the years. I guess that will make the ending of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain much more emotional as it will be an end to a rather lengthy run. Konami has said they want to keep the franchise rolling but The Phantom Pain will be the end of the franchise with the man who started it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/10/15 — 8/14/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another week in video games here. It's been kind of a scattered mess all week as to what we have been getting but none the less we had another fun week for all things video games. I know I am happy to see that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is going to have a lot of what made the franchise amazing back in it. Then there is all the new stuff we had for Mad Max and all the multiplayer beta stuff for Black Ops 3. Oh and let us not discount the fact that the PlayStation Experience is coming back this year even though it is heading off to another city. Read More...

Get The BFG Ready As We Have A New DOOM Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released out there and it shows off some good old fashions demon killing…and the BFG Sometimes in the hullabaloo of things stuff gets lost in the cracks as was the case here with the most recent DOOM trailer that was released. There have been so many new things going on due to Gamescom and a plethora of title releases that this new DOOM trailer was also missed by us here as well. We are sorry for that id Software and now we are going to make up for that. Granted it will only be in the way of showing off the new DOOM trailer to all but at least it is something. Read More...

New Trailer For The Technomancer Shows Off The Horrors Of Mars
by Duke Searles [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We have a new trailer for The Technomancer to show off even if it doesn't show anything more than a bit of Mars from The Technomancer Hopefully you are in the mood for seeing more for The Technomancer. I say that because that is what we have here for you and all today in the form of a new trailer for the game. We can thank Spiders Games for giving us something else to look at for The Technomancer. Sadly though it looks like there is nothing new to truly look at except for a bit more the oddness that is Mars in The Technomancer and one of the mutants that we are going to be compared to while being hunted for "going rogue" in the game. Resident Evil 2 Is Officially Getting A Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been made official as Resident Evil 2 is getting the remake treatment so even more gamers out there can experience the horror of Resident Evil 2 It looks like fans and the internet win again as Resident Evil 2 is getting a remake treatment and it won't be a fan project as we've seen spreading all over the internet. In fact this news comes right from the horse's mouth as Capcom has green-lit Resident Evil 2 Remake and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi will again be at the helm. That would be the producer behind Resident Evil HD Remaster that hit the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC not too long ago and I am pretty sure he has his hands in Resident Evil 0 Remaster as well. New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo Shows Some Tomb Raiding
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The actual demo for Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the Gamescom show floor has been released at it feels much more Tomb Raider-like than ever I am pretty sure now that Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been announced to not only be hitting the Xbox 360 and Xbox One but also the PC and PS4 that Microsoft is not going to do any justice on showing off what we can all look forward to for the game. During Gamescom they showed the world on their huge stage what Rise Of The Tomb Raider would look like on their system only to make Crystal Dynamics' work look like a Thief/Uncharted rip-off. That's how I saw it at least even though I know way better. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/3/15 — 8/7/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games As Gamescom comes to a warp here we too come to wrap up another week in video games. There was so much to take in for this week we didn't get a chance to cover most things that cropped up for the industry at all. We tried our damnedest to do so but we are still just a small and fierce team. When the likes of Rock Band 4, Mad Max, and Final Fantasy XV are hammering us with so much it is hard to cover all video games out there or in the works. Hells, there was also a whole lot of Metal Gear Solid V that was handed out and we were only able to cover so little on it even though it was a huge thing. Read More...

All Kinds Of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Multiplayer Explained
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Another long demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain from Gamescom 2015 has been shown off and it explains more on Mother Base and the FOB multiplayer aspect of The Phantom Pain Get ready for a nice long Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain session here today as we have even more gameplay and trailers for the game to sink our eyes into right from Gamescom. With under a month left until the game hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st and given all of the footage we've seen up until now you would think that Konami would hold back to give us something to experience firsthand in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but thus is not the case. What is also not the case is that even though we have another 30+ minutes of gameplay to spy on it still feels like Kojima Productions has a lot more added into The Phantom Pain that we haven't seen just yet as well. Rise Of The Tomb Raider Looks More Like A Stealth Game Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay footage for Rise Of The Tomb Raider was shown at Gamescom and it looks like there will be a whole lot more stealth action than remembered in any Tomb Raider title before Another non-shocking title to be shown off today for Microsoft's press event at Gamescom was Rise Of The Tomb Raider. They are so proud to be getting Crystal Dynamics' title to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One first that of course they want to show off all the cool things those gamers will get before the PS4 and PC crowds. Can't fault them for that. Read More...

Guitar Hero Live Brings A Lot More In The Way Of Vocals
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
It looks like Guitar Hero Live will have vocals in the mix as well to keep Guitar Hero Live up to snuff with its competitors It looks like Guitar Hero Live is getting something that many have wondered would be included since it was first announced; vocals. It looks like FreeStyleGames didn't want to leave any Guitar Hero fans left out or Activision wanted to make sure it could truly compete with Guitar Hero Live's competitor in the gameplay options and not just the soundtrack. No matter the case here though it looks like vocal options are making the way back into Guitar Hero Live when it hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on October 20th this year. Now we just wait and see if drums are making it back in here for Guitar Hero Live too. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/27/15 — 7/31/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games is down and we are gearing up for another. More reviews and more news for all kinds of video games to come. I truly love that we were able to bookend this week with Until Dawn and had quite a few other zombie type announcements with Zombi and Advanced Warfare DLC. That is also if we miss out on the world of video games getting Mafia 3 coming with more news next week on that. I guess there will be a lot more news during Gamescom but we'll all have to wait and see as the crowds descend on all of those video games being shown out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition has been dated for the PS4 so all of those gamers who were jealous of the PC crowd for getting The Talos Principle can stop We thought the day may never come but it looks like The Talos Principle finally has a release date for the PS4 after almost a year of being on the PC/Mac and months after hitting Android. It would seem like Croteam and/or Devolver Digital were taking their time to get the jump into the console market at first but then we get to find out that it's not only The Talos Principle but a Deluxe Edition with even more puzzle goodness that will be hitting the PS4 on October 13th. Yea, so take that all of you non-believers and pirates of The Talos Principle. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Another new gameplay feature for Guitar Hero Live has been announced in the way of premium shows that can unlock even more items in Guitar Hero Live So far we've seen a few of the cool new ways that Guitar Hero Live will be changing the franchise as well as the genre of game. There are so many other things that could go on with the rhythm genre but here we are getting what are called Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live. FreeStyleGames are trying to think outside the box and here we are getting playable concert footage or debut music videos just for the game. Not only are we going to get to play these Premium Shows in Guitar Hero Live but completing them on specific difficulties or challenges in them will also unlock other in-game things. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/20/15 — 7/24/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of July 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games And thus concludes another week of news in video games. Well news, reviews, and conjecture for video games but that didn't seem to have a nice ring to it. None the less it was a week of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Walking Dead, and a few reviews. Reviews for The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter and the latest episode for Tales From The Borderlands to be exact. We like being exact don't we. Read More...
