This Week In Video Games 7/12/21 — 7/16/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Finally, we are back to having an average week of things with all of these video games and their announcements. Not that we do not enjoy being bombarded with news and updates, it is hard to appreciate them all and see smaller titles like MADiSON and Chernobylite have a chance to shine. It also gave us that well-needed time to get those reviews for Ragnaröck and Minute Of Islands out to you. Both are vastly different video games, indeed, and worth some time to check them out on the site to see if they will be your jam. Read More...

Maneater: Truth Quest Swims It Way Out This August
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Maneater The next DLC for Maneater has a release date set now and we can expect Maneater: Truth Quest by the end of August Our favorite bull shark is coming back out there for a bit more story with Maneater: Truth Quest. This is something we knew, but there are still a few hidden things that Tripwire Interactive is hiding from us for this DLC. That is besides what it will be adding in to the Maneater experience, but also when we will be seeing the new bits on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. That is until now as we have dug up when the new stuff will be hitting. Read More...

Walkthrough More Of The Gameplay Coming To Us In Deathloop
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Deathloop New gameplay for Deathloop is out of the State Of Play to get us all ready for Deathloop to officially launch It looks like each time we get to see Deathloop, it feels like things keep shifting and changing each time. It kind of fits the idea behind the game here and maybe how Arkane Lyon has been working things up to now. Also, how it seems some of the gameplay will flow in Deathloop when it hits the PS4, PS5, and PC on September 14th. Given that we have only seen the loops playing out and the idea that we need to take everyone out there in the world in one shot besides being able to carry things over between each death. Deathtrap Dungeon Another FMV game, Deathtrap Dungeon: The Golden Room, was announced and Deathtrap Dungeon will be using some familiar tech to help tell the story There certainly were more FMV-style video games to show up during this year's E3 and here we go with one more out there for next year with Deathtrap Dungeon: The Golden Room. This would be one more that will be coming out of Wales Interactive to give us more playable movies to enjoy on all of our gaming systems out there. Stargate: Timekeepers Announced To Carry The Story On Just A Bit More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of May 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Stargate A new Stargate title is coming with the announcement that Stargate: Timekeepers will be taking some of the story into an RTS setting It looks like one more crack at the IP is coming with the latest announcement for Stargate: Timekeepers. Yes, we have more building into the IP and story with Creative Forge Games taking a swing to see if they can do what many others out there have not been able to do. That is to give us a solid Stargate video game that does not seem like a cash grab for the diehard fans that have been following for so long. It sounds like a massive undertaking, but this one will be an RTS on the PC that has a slight advantage to it all. Read More...

Deathloop Will Now Be Launching In September Instead Of May
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Deathloop A delay has hit Deathloop pushing the official launch of Deathloop to September to ensure we get the best version of it all At this point it should not be too shocking to hear, but we have another delay to talk about and this one is for Deathloop. It is something that none of us thought or saw to happen even though we might have done so if we were in the time loop that we have in the game itself. That would be a whole different thing to experience, and I am glad that is not the case, but we now know that Deathloop will no longer be hitting us in May. This all comes from the latest announcement from Arkane Lyon that it will now hit the PS5 and PC on September 14th of this year. Read More...

Deathloop Is Further Explained With More Gameplay To Enjoy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of March 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Deathloop The gameplay loop for Deathloop has some more footage and explanation to gear us up to enter the insanity that will be Deathloop It feels like we keep getting more and more to talk about for Deathloop as the wait still carries on as we wait until it hits the PC and PS5. I say this, as it feels like we already know the basics of it all but Arkane want to keep dropping more on us so we can better plan on how to be this assassin caught in a time loop. In fact, it is something we get to hear multiple times in the latest we have for Deathloop out of the State of Play event and just in general as we have another breakdown on how the game will flow. All of which feels like we are living in our own time…loop…I think I see what they are doing here now… All joking aside for now, we do have a bit of new gameplay to look at for Deathloop here that shows us different angles of the same things we have seen before. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of November 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was the week so many gamers out there were waiting for and not just for the video games to hit. This was the PS5 and Xbox Series X launch week, which also did bring us a whole lot of video games too. We no longer have to watch videos for Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and can play them if we so choose. It will give us something as we wait for Immortals Fenyx Rising and House Of Ashes to wrap up development and get out there to us. Read More...

by Cody Killebrew [ Monday, 2nd of November 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
In Sound Mind A new story trailer for In Sound Mind is here to give us a bit more insight into what Desmond will go through during In Sound Mind It looks as if something fell through the cracks during the spooky season with the latest trailer for In Sound Mind. This is a nice little psychological horror title heading to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021 were We Create Stuff will take us into a maddening mind of a character named Desmond. The basics of the story so far. The latest trailer we have for In Sound Mind, though, will take us deeper into all of that and further down the rabbit hole of the character's sanity before the game officially launches. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/21/20 — 9/25/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This really did feel like a lighter week for video games but still a fun one indeed. That could be due to the fact that the TGS is going on right now and everyone was holding their big announcements and showings until then. I mean, Resident Evil Village had something but not to the level some expected. Then there were some of the smaller titles like Ghostrunner and Twin Mirror that head their time to shine this week.
