Silent Hill 2 Shows Off The Horror Of The New Combat We Will Experience
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2024 - 06:00 PM ]
Silent Hill A look at the new Silent Hill 2 remake is out there to give us a feeling of the combat we will endure in Silent Hill 2 I do hope you are ready to pick up the fight in the world of Silent Hill 2, as that is just what it seems like we are going to be doing in the game once more. This is not a huge deviation or something that Bloober Team has made up just for the remake here, but a look at how they are aiming to improve it from the original version that Konami had out there so long ago. That would be the point of a remake in most cases. This all leads us to what we have for the Silent Hill 2 remake and a short look at the game with a bigger focus on the action and combat we will have to go with when the horrors start to creep on in from the fog. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of January 2024 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon Those looking to play Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition on the PC will have a few new features other Horizon players do not We have seen a few of the new PC features that are on the way for the Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, but now we have some better details to look at for it all. All of this was talked about during CES at the start of the year, but Guerrilla Games finally has a nice little video to show it all off to us. Some features I am sure those who enjoyed Horizon Forbidden West on the PS5 would have had, but now have a reason to dig back in on March 21st when this newer version of the game is out on the market. A small update for Death Stranding 2 and a few other projects that Kojima and the team have for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Chasmal Fear Gives Us More Of The Body Cam Horror We Might Need
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of December 2023 - 10:00 PM ]
Chasmal Fear New gameplay for Chasmal Fear is out there to tease a bit more of what we will play with when Chasmal Fear launches The body cam footage games seem to be the next big wave of titles we are going to get with Chasmal Fear offering up some fun new gameplay for us all to enjoy. This is a new title coming out of MystiveDev that has been built in the Unreal Engine 5, as many others have been, that will be leaning more into the horror of things instead of the more realistic monsters out there. Take that as you will, but Chasmal Fear offers up some gameplay with many more monsters and hulking beasts than we have seen in any of these other entries into the 'genre'. Let us have a look and see if this will keep us all glued to our PC once it gets released into the world in 2024. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/18/23 — 12/22/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 23rd of December 2023 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week More and more of the video games news has been flowing out there during a time that is normally fairly dry when it comes to all of that. Not a bad thing for us, but a little unusual as we head into the bulk of the holiday season. Especially with the big drops for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and South Park: Snow Day in the mix that we had. Then there were the new tools for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew and then updates for other video games like Supernormal. Read More...

Six Days In Fallujah Updates Us More On How War Is Uncertain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of December 2023 - 08:00 PM ]
Fallujah More content is out there for Six Days In Fallujah that offers up new maps and elements to bring Fallujah further to light The war keeps waging on with the Early Access for Six Days In Fallujah, and we now have another massive update to add into the mix. An update that has Victura adding in three new missions in the Jolan Park area of it all. Something that sounds a bit odd for a game like this, but Highwire Games has been doing the diligence to get the recounting of things from those that were in Fallujah and the horrors they experienced in the mix of it all. All so we can have a better experience on the PC and then the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S when the game is ready to launch out there. Read More...

We are heading into the realm again with Kratos and seeing how things could play out in the epilogue for God Of War: Ragnarök. All for free for those who own the game already on the PS4 or PS5. The No Return Mode Is Coming In The Last Of Us Part II Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of December 2023 - 08:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us The new mode for The Last Of Us Part II is shown off as we all wait for The Last Of Us Part II Remastered to launch out there One of the big pulls for The Last Of Us Part II Remastered had to be the new mode that was announced to be coming out for the game. I say that, as many have been able to experience the game on the PS5 for a while now even if it was not truly native. Naughty Dog, I am sure, wants everyone to experience it in that way, but the bigger thing is the new No Return Mode that we are getting in The Last Of Us Part II. This is the new roguelike element that will have us looking to try to replay with some of the combat in a single-player way. Read More...

Luna Abyss A new behind-the-scenes video for Luna Abyss is here to give us more on the soundtrack coming for Luna Abyss It is time once again to go behind the scenes for another game to see how things are being crafted for Luna Abyss. Just in case you have not been keeping up on all of that since it was announced not too long ago. Here, though, we get to see more of Luna Abyss after the announcements to see just how the game's soundtrack is coming to life and how it will play into the art and narrative of the game.
