Soul Reaver
Fans waiting for Soul Reaver to come back to us all will be glad to hear the announcement of the Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered
Just in time for the 25th anniversary, it looks like Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered is going to be a thing and dropping out there on December 10th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Pretty much every platform that Aspyr could get their hands on and bring Raziel to a whole new audience out there. Sadly, not in a whole new title to give us for the Soul Reaver line, but it is something we are getting after so many were speculating that it could be the case. Just to bring us all one step closer to giving up the consoles of the past so we can have all our new and classic games all in one space instead…
That is the when and on what platforms for this Soul Reaver remaster, but what is going to be different from what we all experienced twenty-five years ago? Well, obviously there will be the upgraded visuals that we can turn on and off as we see fit. New and old controls that will have the same option for us to play with too. There will be new ways to watch our navigation around the world and a Photo Mode to snap pictures of things as we are playing them. Along with more of the behind-the-scenes and lore options we wish we had when the original Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver launched out there so long ago. Here is a fun little tease to build us up and get us ready to pre-order the game just before the holiday season pops right off. It does look rather impressive for what needed to be done to get the game ready for a modern audience.
