Batman: Return To Arkham May Be Launching In November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Return To Arkham It looks like the delay of Batman: Return To Arkham may not be as long as most of us feared as sources claim Return To Arkham will be launching in November While this is still in the realm of speculation it looks like sources close to Batman: Return To Arkham state that we should be seeing the bundle released sometime in November of this year. At least that is what is being reported out there on Rocksteady Games' new collection after it was delayed instead of being released tomorrow. That was the original date that we were supposed to see Return To Arkham out there but things didn't look perfect according to Warner Bros. Read More...

A New Live Action Horror Title, The Bunker, Coming This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Bunker A new horror game, The Bunker, is coming out this September and The Bunker features Live Action play instead of traditional character models It has been very far between when a video game uses live actors instead of polygons for gameplay but here we go with The Bunker. This is a new horror title coming out of Splendy Games for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. It had a very small announcement back in April of this year but it looks like Wales Interactive wants to bring The Bunker to us all this September. No specific date has been announced as of yet but this is a step up from there being nothing when wind first started to pick up for it. Read More...

Let's All Get Immersed In The Gameplay Of Battlefield 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 New Battlefield 1 gameplay has been shared out of the closed alpha and it shows just how immersive Battlefield 1 will be Last week we had a nice long look at Battlefield 1's domination mode in action right from the closed alpha test that EA has going on right now. It looked a bit on the lower end of the scale that we all know that DICE can produce for us. At least it did to me and it made me think what we would see on the PS4 and Xbox One for Battlefield 1 was going to be even worse. All of this being based on the PC footage here and October 21st truly isn't that far off when you get into the nitty gritty here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 4 The release date for Resident Evil 4 on the current gen systems has been announced and we'll see Resident Evil 4 this August again While it isn't new news that Resident Evil 4 is heading the PS4 and Xbox One directly, that was announced a while back, but now we have a solid release date for when we will get to play the game on the systems. It looks like Capcom has set the date and we will be reliving one of the best additions into the franchise on August 30th now. Hopefully you've been able to play catch up in reverse with all of the other titles announced with Resident Evil 4 and Umbrella Corps or most likely waiting until August now to play it all in order. That's right, you can now play Turtle Rock Studios' passion projected, Evolve for free right now on the PC and then later on the PS4 and Xbox One. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 Some new gameplay for Battlefield 1 has been released out of the closed alpha for Battlefield 1 and it shows off the Domination mode of the game If you have been pining for some new Battlefield 1 gameplay footage and have yet to have had personal access to the closed alpha for the game, then you are in luck. Of course some players out at E3 had the chance to play the game and DICE have given us all a closed beta. It also looks like EA hasn't been too stingy on allowing others to post gameplay of Battlefield 1 online. Read More...

Review — Deadlight: Director's Cut
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Deadlight We sit down and review Deadlight: Director's Cut. It's another remaster for a game that didn't get much love before. Here's our review of Deadlight: Director's Cut It's only been a short four years and now we have Deadlight: Director's Cut landing on the PS4 and Xbox One after a nice stint on the 360 and PC. This would be Tequila Works' side-scrolling zombie adventure that aims to focus on story more than just exploding brains. It was decently received the first time around but now we have a more definitive edition of the game here now with all of the extra mixed in that the original Deadlight just didn't have. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It looks like Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is making the rounds at SDCC and we'll get a look at the new Call Of Duty narrative coming for the game We've had a bit of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare news and footage come out of E3 but it looks like that was only another small section as the game is making a showing at San Diego Comic Con in two weeks. While Infinity Ward may have focused more on the action and combat before it looks like this time it is a focus on the narrative that we are going to get here. Yes, Call Of Duty games have a story for those who are not all about the multiplayer only. Read More...

Fallout 4 Final DLC Looks To Be The Upcoming Nuka-World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Fallout 4 At E3 the Fallout 4 Nuka-World DLC was teased and shown off to the world but now it seems it will be the final Fallout 4 DLC too Hopefully you weren't banking on the Fallout 4 DLC to keep rolling out after the most recently teased one. As it seems the upcoming Nuka-World DLC teased at E3 is going to be the last bit of planned DLC that Bethesda has for the game. So get ready for the Fallout 4 content to stop flowing out after that hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime next month. By all of that I am only talking about the core game as I'm guessing focus is going toward the VR version of the game which is why this will be the last. Read More...

Paranautical Activity We sit down and review Paranautical Activity. Here's another procedurally generated FPS for us all to look at. Here's our review of Paranautical Activity In the mix of all the huge titles and events going on it looks like Paranautical Activity has slipped on out for cross buy on the PS4 and PS Vita. We were able to sit down and dig into the game a bit and now we are ready to give out thoughts. Read More...

Here's A Red Dead Redemption Update But Not Exactly What We Hoped For
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption The latest game to hit the Xbox One backwards compatibility program is Red Dead Redemption and it doesn't matter which version of Red Dead Redemption you own to have access Leading up to E3 and well before that we had a lot of "leaks" and news about something related to Red Dead Redemption coming soon. A lot of us thought that this was all to lead up to Rockstar Games announcing a sequel to the original title but as that time has come and gone it looks like we'll have to wait longer. What we won't have to wait for is the original Red Dead Redemption to hit the Xbox One as Take-Two Interactive is allowing it to head to the system via the backwards compatibility program that has been set up. Just How Will Friday The 13th: The Game's Counselors Play Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th New details on how Friday The 13th: The Game's counselors will handle in the game have popped up and it looks like Friday The 13th is going to break a few multiplayer molds here There is still a lot of time and information needing to be spread out for Friday The 13th: The Game and it looks like just a bit more has popped on up. While Illfonic has been giving us small little breakdowns of how some mechanics play out it looks like the guys from Gun Media have given us all a bit more on how the counselors in the game will handle and play out. Not only will they stay to the traditional Friday The 13th path in terms of stereotypes but it looks like we are not going to be limited to only having one of the stereotypes in action at one time. Review — Hard Reset Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hard Reset Redux We sit down and review Hard Reset Redux. It's another remaster of a classic title but it is one that needed to be done. Here's our review of Hard Reset Redux It's been some time coming but Hard Reset Redux has launched on consoles and has been given a full remaster on the PC. It only took five years for Flying Wild Hog's title made it to the PS4 and Xbox One. That is okay though as Gambitious had some great ambitions for all of this and now it has come to light. Thankfully we had a chance to sit back and give this remaster a shot from start to finish. Read More...

It's Time To Take South Park: The Fractured But Whole Seriously
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park In the wake of E3 we are still getting South Park: The Fractured But Whole details and this time it is just how the guys from South Park are taking the comedy a bit serious It sounds extremely weird and funny to hear that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is trying to take comedy seriously given the jokes about just that in the past. Of course we have to look past all of that as all of this comes from a recent interview about the game from some of the team out of Ubisoft. That and the fact that in terms of this South Park game this whole new revelation is in terms of the genre and not the specific jokes as the comedy genre in video games is on the light side. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2016 - 04:00 PM ]
Carmageddon A new compilation video for Carmageddon: Max Damage has been released and it shows off some of the things you'll rundown in Carmageddon at launch With Carmageddon: Max Damage coming out here in short order, July 8th, it might just be time to sit back and see just what you'll be running down and killing for fun in the game. Apparently Stainless Games had the same idea as they have just given us the rundown of some of the things we'll encounter when the game launches on the PS4 and Xbox One. Although for most of us out there this may just be a refresher for Carmageddon as it seems just like the usual things that we've known and 'loved' to kill from before. Read More...
