Druids, are you tired of looking the same as all the other Druids? Would you want to change colors in your bear and cat form? Do you want to dance in bear form in style? Well now you can, as Blizzard has announced new looks for the Druids! In the next major patch for World of Warcraft, druids will be able to find color schemes for the bear and cat forms. Blizzard made the following announcement on their Under Development page: “There will be five different designs for each of these forms for the Horde and Alliance. Night elves can choose to change their cat and bear look at any time by visiting the barber shop and changing their character's hair color, while tauren will be able to change which look they use by switching skin tones in the barber shop -- a new feature for tauren in the next major content patch. In 2006 Marvel and Activision teamed up to create Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Built on the X-men Legends engine, Ultimate Alliance featured the largest collection of comic book characters ever seen in a video game. Combining the standard roster with downloadable content, Ultimate Alliance featured nearly 40 playable characters. The game was a success and this coming fall we'll get to see the sequel Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion. When you look back at the 1990’s and you see the more popular fighting games to come out of that decade, your mind will invariably jump to Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter above anything else. From those two series came so many clones that really didn’t offer anything new to the genre. It’s ironic though that most of these clones are probably better known than anything from the Samurai Shodown series which is a shame since Samurai Shodown did so much to add to the fighting genre back in the day. Thankfully SNK Playmore have put together a collection of Samurai Shodown games that is a must have for anyone who is a fan of the series. Aliens Vs Predator - Videogame Teaser Trailer What a great tag line for a game that looks absolutely amazing, well from the few screens and short teaser that Sega has just posted up on their blog and YouTube account. But even with it all being just a small glimpse at this game, it looks like it will be even better than the films of the same title. From the looks, it is all in game graphics and effects, although it wouldn't be the first time a game company has pulled the wool over our eyes. Lunar: Silver Star Story (Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star in Japan) has been slated for a new remake, this time being released on the Sony PSP. Originally released in 1992 on the Mega CD in Japan, and then brought to the U.S. by Working Designs to the Sega CD, it eventually saw a re-release on the Sony Playstation. The new version of the game will be fully remastered with updated graphics, music and video at an unprecedented quality. With the next batch of achievements and weapon unlocks announced and mentioned difficulty in deciding on an alternate weapon for the sniper rifle, it looks as if our good friends at Valve have managed to come up with an idea and now the Sniper Update is upon us.  Called the "Huntsman" it is a bow-and-arrow for a slightly more in-your-face approach to playing this class. A sniper worth his weight with this weapon could lead a charge into the enemy base.  Provided with invulnerability, the skilled bowman could pin everyone to the walls waltzing into the intelligence room as his enemies wait to be freed or killed. If you haven’t heard by now there is another video game movie in the works. And this time it’s for Gears of War (chainsaw FTW). Chris Morgan, who has written such movies as Fast and Furious and Wanted, just wrapped up the script for the upcoming movie and now they are looking for a cast. He is looking for his main actor to play Marcus Fenix, and while others are thinking of actors like Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, or maybe Chuck Norris. Or so Capcom thinks. Either way, anybody that picks up SFIV for the PC will get a MadCatz Fightpad for free. The game is priced a bit higher than most PC games at $59.99 but a $39.99 game plus a $39.99 fightpad is good enough for me. Gamers may wonder why MadCatz is so busy making PC fightpads when there is a shortage of console ones, but the fact is is that nobody wants to play Street Fighter with a mouse and keyboard (awaits barrage of ppl yelling at me that they play it on an emulator with a keyboard all the time).Capcom will release Street Fighter IV (Games for Windows Live for those that don't know) on July 7th here in the States. More Peripherals!!!!  Yay!  I know that is what you're thinking as today Activision announced their fall releases of "Hero" franchises. Attempting to break into the hip-hop and R&B markets, they will be releasing DJ Hero, coming to you with special turntable peripheral.  No longer content with sticking to plastic instruments, they are moving into plastic electronics.  Couch Potato Hero will of course have plastic TV and remote as you sit on your couch playing a person sitting on a couch.  All kidding aside I really hope to see this at E3 in a few weeks and take it for a spin*.
