A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Let's all celebrate as we have survived yet another April Fool's day in the video game industry. I will say that this one was a bit more lackluster than any in year's past but I'll take it. None the less we were still able to bring you a plethora of video game news through the week although again Mortal Kombat X seemed to dominate the legitimate news of the April Fool's week. If it wasn't for that we would have only had the Game Of Thrones review and the little bit for the Call Of Duty DLC and Batman: Arkham Knight. Game streaming service OnLive is shutting down at the end of the month but Sony has purchased some of their tech for some reason Some of you may have heard of OnLive or maybe even used the video game streaming service over the last few years since its launch. For those not in the know OnLive was a cool litter service that allowed users to purchase and play PC games without the need for a high-end system to run the graphics at the best settings. I was lucky enough to have used some of their hardware in the past and while the controller to keyboard syncs were not always the best, the service was nice and it did what you were paying for. A new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V on the PC running at 60fps has been released for our viewing pleasure Just when you thought you've seen the best for Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar brings you back in. This time we have a nice long look at how the game is going to look when running at the best settings on the PC version of the game. I though the PS4 and Xbox One editions of Grand Theft Auto V looked out of this world but I am starting to see why PC gaming is such a huge thing. The latest bit of DLC for Sunset Overdrive has been released and it is titled Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines as you could expect With a game like Sunset Overdrive everything can be treated like an April Fool's joke as that is just kind of how the game is. It is the flare that Insomniac Games was going for and they achieved it. Thankfully we have some new DLC for Sunset Overdrive that is anything but an April Fool's day joke even though the title will make you question the validity of that claim. A new trailer for the second part of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Exo Zombie mode has been released and it offers quite a punch and surprise The next major DLC for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare is just around the bend here and it looks like there is going to be a huge addition to the Exo Zombies mode that was part of the first pack. This part being called Infection and all part of the Ascendance pack that will be out tomorrow (3/31) on Xbox Live. Other platforms will be in short order of course but hopefully you have that Season Pass for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare so no matter what you won't have to worry about the dates outside of when you are going to get to play all of the new DLC. New characters and descriptions have popped up for Mad Max during Game Informer's huge coverage of the game Just in case you've been missing out, it is Mad Max month over at Game Informer so they can try and capitalize off the hype for the new film that is coming out in a little over a month. None of the information there is for the film but for the new game coming from Avalanche Studios. At least it would feel like it was new information if it was anything that the developer hasn't already told us or shown the world before. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since we had the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands. In fact we had four holidays and a whole lot of snow in between the first episode and the second one. Turtle Rock has released the first bit of gameplay for Evolve's new hunters and monster coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 31st We had our first look at Evolve's new hunters last week. These would be the new one for each class. We've also heard about the fourth monster that will be gracing Evolve with its massive size and extra abilities. All of which will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 31st. What we have yet to see or hear are any of these new characters and creatures in action during a match of Evolve. A new image has popped up online that shows that the next Call Of Duty title may be Call Of Duty: World At War 2 Before you get all antsy in the pansty here this is a rumor about Call Of Duty: World At War 2 being the next addition to the franchise from Treyarch. This rumor of course started from a "leaked" image hitting the internet that shows that Activision may be announcing the game on May 4th this year. That would be a Monday about a month before E3 so it does seem a bit logical for the reveal to happen.
