ESRB Is Now Adding An “In-Game Purchases” Label To The List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
ESRB The ESRB is taking steps toward helping us all know when video games have extra purchases in the mix, as ESRB will add a label for it Get ready to start seeing a new label from the ESRB on your video games in the coming days as it looks like the organization will be starting to label games with “In-Game Purchases” now. All of which is a response to the most recent issues gamers have had out there with studios and publishers adding in the options to pay real-world money for in-game items or bonuses. No titles were named directly, but I know many people, the ESRB included, are looking in the direction of Star Wars Battlefront II there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of February 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Sometimes you have to love short weeks as they give you more time to play our video games, but sometimes they seem to be filled with less news and true updates for our games. This was one of those weeks, but we did get to press right on with it. Not only did it give us a chance to review Past Cure for everyone, it also brought us some new updates for Biomutant, Far Cry 5, and a few other video games. Read More...

The Zombies Are Coming So Get Ready To Throw Anything
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Throw Anything A new VR experience, Throw Anything, is coming to our homes soon and we can get a taste of what to expect here for Throw Anything right now If there is one thing that gamers love with VR it has to be zombies and weird experiences with them. At least that has to be the thought here with Throw Anything that is coming from VisualLight. I mean, Throw Anything is a new VR title heading to Early Access on February 28th here that will place us in a high-rise room that has zombies climbing up to it and our only defense is to literally do what the title of the game says. Thankfully, said title also means that we can indeed hurl anything and everything at the zombies to stop them. Read More...

Review — Past Cure
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Past Cure We sit down and review Past Cure. A new story-driven supernatural title from a small studio. Here is our review of Past Cure Since first hearing of Past Cure and seeing some of it in action, my interest was piqued and I wanted to know more. It has been this way for a while now and here we go as Phantom 8 Studio has finally finished it off and placed it out there for us to play. It has seemed hard to peg down what genre Past Cure is actually in as it looks to have stealth elements, action elements, and supernatural all mixed in. Other titles have done this as well, of course, but usually, it has been a very straightforward idea behind it that we could all grasp onto. Read More...

Zasalamel & Ivy Are Now Here For Soulcalibur VI
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur Two more characters for Soulcalibur VI are here to look at as the roster for Soulcalibur VI is further expanded with new and fun weapons Add two more characters to the roster of Soulcalibur VI as we now have Ivy and Zasalamel to look at in action for the game. There is still no release date on when Bandai Namco will be bringing the game to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but 2018 is still the timeline. Not that we should have expected to see a release date so soon for Soulcalibur VI as the roster is still on the lights side still, but it was worth mentioning for now and then we will head back into the characters. You know, the reason you are really here and most likely skipping over all of the text we have added in here. Read More...

The release date for Moss has been set as the developers make the February timeline with Moss landing right before the end of the month It looks like Polyarc has finally settled on a release date for Moss and now it has been set. Not too long ago we covered the game and there was still no set date other than February leaving a lot of people wondering when this PSVR title was actually going to come or if it would make the mark. For those who have not been following Moss here, I am talking about what we had to look at last week without a solid release date set still. All of that can be forgotten now as we can look to add the game onto our PS4 on February 27th now. Read More...

System Shock Remastered Has Been Put On A Temporary Hiatus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
System Shock Production on the System Shock Remaster has been put on hold as the studio refocuses and aims to give us the System Shock we were all hoping for If you were hoping to get the System Shock Remastered out there any time soon, you will be let down with the most recent update. It looks like Nightdive Studios has had to place the game on a bit of hiatus and thus delayed the game until some undetermined time now. The System Shock Remastered is still being made, but it just looks like the team needs a bit of time to refocus and get back on track to deliver on all of their promises. They did raise a whole lot of money to bring it to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so there is a lot riding on them getting it just right. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Moss New gameplay for Moss is out there now and now we get to see just how Moss will blend the PSVR experience with a platformer style of game It may be time to put on your "remembering pants" to think back to a game announced at E3 named Moss. Maybe it still rings a bell for you or maybe you remember there being a title named that which was shown off from Polyarc and featured an adventurous mouse as the lead. Remember it or not, here we are with more for this PS VR title and just what to expect if it makes the February of this year release date that Moss currently has set for itself. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
The Evil Within 2 A new update for The Evil Within 2 is bringing first-person gameplay into The Evil Within 2 so you can get a feel for exactly what Sebastian is seeing There is a new way to play The Evil Within 2 coming today (2/14/18) as it looks like Tango Gameworks has given us all the option to play the whole game again in first-person mode. That is right, you will get to hop right into the head of Sebastian and see exactly what he is seeing in the game and give you a new way to play everything. I am a bit surprised that The Evil Within 2 is not getting a full VR release as it looks like Bethesda is doing for all of their huge games as of late, but maybe that is still coming. Read More...
